As far as I can tell, "therapy" for this family consists of everyone involved stating what they can do differently in the future to not hurt Meri's feelings.

None of them have the word "difficult" in their vocabulary, apparently. Courtship is always "hard". Yes! I thought that too.

What date was the wedding and what date was the birth? What does TTH mean?

At their lunch, why wouldn't they talk about their bazillion kids like any normal group of four moms who know each other well? These women are so weird!!

I can't believe they still refer to the catfishing as Meri "getting catfished" like a victim, instead of "the affair Meri had". I agree with the poster above who said of course Mariah is angry, her mother cheated on her father and still hasn't admitted it. I don't care if they never hooked up, that level of connection is still cheating in my books.

It enrages me to hear Meri say she can't figure out her role in the family now that she's an empty nester. I have sisters/cousins/friends who would kill to live closer to each other so we could jump right in there and help with each others kids and daily logistics! Just go help with meals/transportation/playing/homework/outings/whatever! Isn't that the point of this whole arrangement?? She isn't confused about her role, she is LAZY!!

Long time reader, first time poster! I think there is a very weird dynamic between Austin and Joy, and I agree with those saying he doesn't seem very into her. I wonder if he initially really did genuinely like the more spunky, outdoorsy, fun-loving Joy before they were courting?? Sort of "Joy before she knew anyone was watching". Seems he has nothing but disdain for this more clingy, whimpering, "kiss me, kiss me", simpet that she has become.
