He has the hook. Reports are that the EQ fought Morpheus, then had a tense scene with Gold. I'm thinking it's looking like it's Morpheus under the hood. Which is weird and seems unsatisfying.

I have notice a BIG dropoff in the amount of posts about the show among people I follow on Twitter & Tumblr. There's very little buzz or excitement about the show. The finale was incredibly lackluster, which didn't inspire buzz over the summer, and the premiere didn't help in that regard. Everything is both lackluster and depressing. There's no romance or fun anymore. Even Evil Regals don't seem to be that excited about the double Regina story line. There's no hint or teases of anything fun to entice people. CaptainSwan is being sidelined and there's no hope for any milestone moments for them like an engagement anytime soon. Things feel repetitive. No wonder the fandom is asleep or have moved on.

Sure. If a show is canceled and the studio wants to shop it around and another outlet wants to pick it up, it's perfectly plausible. That happened with Nashville over the summer -- ABC canceled it and CMT picked it up for another season. It also happened in the past with The Mindy Project and some other shows that don't come to mind right now.

Yeah, I doubt there will be much if any CS in this ep, certainly not the follow-up that was sorely needed after the last ep. There's too much else going on, and the focus seems to be on Hook/Henry instead. They have really cut down on the CS scenes this year. You can thank the anti-CS SQ brigade for that.

I think if there's a S7 they should (and likely will) announce upfront that it's the final season, in hopes of getting people to tune in out of nostalgia to see how it all wraps up. We can't assume Time After Time will bomb, even if it's awful. MacGyver was at or near the top of many "will be canceled first" lists and it did shockingly well in the ratings. You just never know for sure.

I think it could go either way on S7. Network politics is definitely an issue. I feel like there has been a definite (negative) change in the amount of promotion for Once -- and its focus. What is most in Once's favor for a S7 is the overall putridness of ABC's ratings health in general. ABC has a ton of time slots to worry about and they're unlikely to cancel 80% of their dramas in one season. For that reason alone, I'd guess there will be a S7 -- perhaps an abbreviated one leading into some new midseason show. I wish I knew whether the cast's contracts were for six or seven seasons; that would have a HUGE affect on the renewal chances, since salary renegotiations would likely be prohibitive unless some cast members leave. Tiger, do you know their contract lengths? I just hope that if S6 is the last, A&E are given enough notice in order to wrap up the series in a satisfactory way (or as satisfactory as they're capable of).

That would be very nice at a different time, but NOT when the situation cries out so much for a Hook/Emma focus with her vision/death looming.

How do you know that? Not saying it's not accurate and warranted, but what's the source? As for advertising this ep, ABC has been advertising Aladdin & Jasmine all season without actually delivering them, so IMO it lost all impact.

Based on this set spoiler, I think the dwarves wished Stealthy back alive. If a genie grants three wishes, that would be one. Robin being brought back would be two. Things being reset would be three.

With all the reshoots, who knows what they've changed or done away with. The Captain Charming bromance/adventure may never happen.

I don't think it's a strong possibility. I think it's a crack theory. I think EQ disguises herself as Regina and that's how she tricks them. And how does the EQ know Emma's secret? Looking at you, Archie.

Apart from who Emma should be with (resoundingly), my opinions didn't really match up with the top vote getters. August should die in a fire. He could be kindling.
