OT: Robin Hood is fine to me, because there's so much nebulousness about whether he was a real person, and even if he was, probably 99% of what we "know" about him is fiction. So I consider Robin Hood a legend -- the same with Mulan and King Arthur. The others I wouldn't like, because they're also concretely real people who we know a lot of facts about their life and death.

Well, his shirt does have a pattern. I think it's kind of weird, but not nearly as bad as that one previous eyesore. It seems like he's changing his shirt regularly, but the rest of the outfit remains the same. And add me to the list of those thinking they've got a crap-ton of stuff to fit into the last two eps. -

Looks like Will and Hook are in the mayor's office building. -
I still don't like it. Blackbeard is just too much of a real person to me. I mean, I've seen artifacts from his ship and been to the beach where it's known he had a pirate gathering. There's no other character on the show where you can be somewhere and say, "It's a fact that Character X stood on this beach" or "This is the exact spot where his ship sank." I mean, you could be in Sherwood Forest and say, "Maybe there was a real person named Robin Hood who ran around here, but there's no proof, so we don't know for sure." And now my annoyance extends to J.M. Barrie for using Blackbeard. He started it all! :)

They have eyes only for each other? LOL. But, yeah, Cruella definitely deserves a side-eye in that get-up. -

Filming report and pics. Looks like Cruella gave BFF Ursula a scarf. -

Yep, it's 4x13 (by the way the writers are numbering, not the way this forum is numbering). We know Adam is directing 4x13 from his title page photo, and he's on set directing this ep. -

Hush. Don't harsh my mellow. ;) (Sorry about the photo expectation!) If Emma moves out and we finally get some CS sexy times in the episode Adam is directing, I will LMAO. No, that wouldn't be even more awkward at all for the actors for their boss to have them saying "Now kiss her there" instead of some random director. Belle got the real estate in the breakup? :) -

If they're moving clothing, I think she's moving. Maybe it's the last load? Also, Colin is on set, Hook and Emma are holding hands, and Ursula and Cruella appear to be BFFs. -
This bugs the crap out of me, too. He's different from every other character to me for this reason. We know who he was, what his crimes were, and when and how he died. The wreck of his ship has been found. He pirated the waters of the Caribbean and Atlantic, not the waters of the Enchanted Forest. There's no "steeped in legend" aspect about a person who may or may not have existed; he EXISTED. It's like if the show brought on Abraham Lincoln or Napoleon. No, I do not like the inclusion of Blackbeard on the show at all.

I have been informed that the license plate in the cartoon and live-action movie both read DEV IL, so this is continuity. But it's driving the copy editor side of my brain CRAZY. -

Why does the license plate say DEV IL instead of DE VIL? -

Cruella's car on the streets of Storybrooke. I'm speculating that she drove into town (with Rumple?) and wasn't de-hatted. After all, she doesn't have magic in the movie. -

I splurged and bought an iPad online on Thanksgiving. It wasn't supposed to be delivered until Wednesday, but it came today -- so there was a little advantage in being home sick with a godawful head cold/laryngitis.

I posted the DQ poofs into snowflakes a few days ago here about the reunion snow, mainly as a joke. Or kind of joking on the square. It could happen! -

The snow falling on Emma, Elsa & Anna in the one BTS photo calls to mind the snow falling during the reunion. So it starts while they're confronting DQ. Perhaps the snow is an analogue to Gerda's tears in the Snow Queen tale and washes out the glass shards. If Anna doesn't have the baby, WHERE'S THE BABY? Do Snowing somehow overcome the spell and suddenly become fit to watch the baby? Or did Rumple's deal with DQ actually make Babysitter Belle immune to the spell? If she, say, found Emma's phone in the shop and listened to the voicemail, maybe she would venture out. -

The Writers of OUAT: Because, Um, Magic, That's Why

That Emma/Lily retweet was way inappropriate. Now he's conversing with a ton of SQers saying the usual stuff and seems to be on their side. So, yeah, I'm definitely not a fan of him on Twitter. -

A filming pic of foster-mom DQ and young Emma from the next ep. -
Two quotes that are apt for Regina: “Just because your pain is understandable, doesn’t mean your behavior is acceptable.” (Don't know where this originated.) From "Brooklyn Nine-Nine": "Cool motive. Still murder."
-
She did. She told Kristoff she had to make sure Elsa knew she didn't mean it. It absolutely, totally was a slap at Emma. Because Regina gets to verbally abuse her and everyone at all times and it's A-OK. Yes, please let Ruby eat Robin! Awesome idea! They keep calling it the Spell of Shattered Sight, so maybe the writers are making it not-a-curse so it can't be broken with a TLK.

The Writers of OUAT: Because, Um, Magic, That's Why
Souris replied to Souris's topic in Once Upon A Time
Jane Espenson mentioned on Twitter last night again that they do have the giant timeline on the wall. They may try to stick to it, but I think if they decide they need something else to happen for the plot, they'll just ignore the timeline. Yes, the writing on this show is SO FRUSTRATING, because it could and should be so much better. I concur that it likely stems from A&E, because the showrunners set the tone of a show. If they don't care about things like character and realistic emotions, then the show is going to reflect that.
