  1. I wonder how it is that her weight is all in her front and her shoulders. When she walked out of the clinic, she looked completely flat from her waist down.
  2. It's like going on a drinking binge before going to rehab. Yes, it is insanity to do the same thing over and over again and expect different results.
  3. Natashia is crying about dead boutonnieres, but her mother's sister is losing her leg? "She's already lost one!" Roll eyes. These women are truly awful or just have it turned up for the show, either way I enjoy the snarky narration.
  4. Thanks for the tip! I will be watching for sure.
  5. @GAM2, Yes! I saw the dubious look on the sister's face too. I don't think it's about being right or wrong for the family, they are true believers. The problem (as I see it), the mother and sister are one hundred percent devoted to the girl with the demons attached. What would be the reason for their existence if the girl doesn't NEED keepers (including the husband)? I certainly hope girl gets the support and help she needs to get away from the clinging and grasping of her family. I will have to re-watch next week on OWN. I remember cringing at the show they were putting on; the whole jaw cracking, eye-rolling, hanky-waving exhibit. The sister put me off right away with "there is no need to go over how we got here". She was defensive from the start. I don't remember what started the need for exorcisms?
  6. @Madding crowd, LOL! South Park character for sure. That dad was like a reptile with his beady little eyes and being cold blooded. He is like a malignant narcissist, people do not exist to him, they are objects to be used.
  7. @patty1h, The mother and sister were like her disciples and the girl was the "saint" suffering. (That's the feel I got from the 3 of them.) For me, it was infuriating. I was raised Roman Catholic, but now, I am an atheist. Seeing Phil entertaining these delusions for a national audience is disgusting. Having one of her fits on stage was one of the lowest points of Phil's show. All of them saying, "we've been to regular doctors, and they can't help us." No, I guess not. Even their pastor told them to get counseling.
  8. Why didn't the male in the room help the fiance to get him out of the chair?
  9. Neither was I. I hope Taylor's mother went to treatment and can really be there for Morgan. What a terrible and tragic loss.
  10. While she is spooning noodles onto his plate, saying, "he's a 29 year old man, and I see a man." Nope.
  11. Hah! Morgan, you are absolutely right. Everything is certainly NOT going to be okay. Damn, Taylor's mother gets on my last nerve. Her platitudes about every friggin subject make me want to scream. Drug court is great! Helped my daughter immeasurably. We were in southeastern Michigan.
  12. Watching episode 5 right now. She just left the table, she looks high af. "I thought it would be a good idea to get my just out of prison girlfriend a job modeling" Dude, no stress from you right?
  13. What does the MIL watching that creep waggle his penis at her (continually, many times!) have to do with misogyny or Dr Phil's "mommy issues"? I wonder if we all watched the same show? If I did not tell my daughter immediately that her husband (were they living in mom's house?) had jacked off in front of me while I drove him home from work, I am the one who is WRONG! "Oh, he had her wrapped around his little finger?" What? What happened there that Mom was afraid daughter would not believe her? Today, I hate this mother. Hate her bad. I have been furious with my children's father, but, never ever bring them into the court/family court business. That little boy has a life with court talk and fear talk about his father.
  14. @mythoughtis and @JenMcSnark, Please accept my gratitude to both of you for sharing your kindness and hope. When A&E first started this show, they had a forum. We were a merry little group of snarkers with hearts of gold. ;) At one time the Paranormal State forum (same network) heard we were discussing some of the outlandish claims and pure bullshit that the show was pushing. Paranormal State took themselves VERY seriously, and tried to "take over" our forum, with the host of the show leading the charge. LOL Your thoughtful replies reminded me of that first group of Intervention forumites. I live in southeastern GA, a small little town outside of Fort Stewart. Even in this tiny little mobile home park, in the middle of nowhere, there is drug activity. It's strange to watch the addicts and/or dealers drive up and down this little closed street, thinking they are slick. You know, I have no idea what they are thinking. My son used to deny being high while he was nodding off! I was a drunk who thought I was fooling everyone too. :)
  15. Of course! Sylvia. Thank you. I didn't know that David was her dealer, but that still would not make it his fault (IMO) My oldest son and his girlfriend are like these two. I guess that's why I'm feeling some type of way about it. :) Shuffling between me and her mother, finally had a daughter together, who I do not know. Her mother blames my son for her daughter's drug addiction. The thing is, once they start injecting as a couple, that is their mission in life. I could help support the baby and be a good nana (really an excellent nana) but, the girl and her mother blame me for my son's actions. I continually hope for the day that I will get to spend time with my granddaughter, and I leave the door open, always.
  16. Her delusion is ...odd. Just started the show, so I should finish watching. :)
  17. Kierstan bringing on the tears when the huffiness didn't work for her parents. I was glad to see her parents hold their bottom line. Do they blame the boyfriend for her heroin use? Taking personal responsibility for my own life and consequences was terrifying, but liberating. It is horrendously difficult to tell your child, "you have to leave, you cannot live here while using heroin." (Personal experience. Lots of personal experience with addiction from all angles. :) I wonder why Atlanta chose to be the city for this show? Personally, I think it's awesome they are shining a light on this scourge of the US, but, it is also pointing to "bad stuff" that would keep away tourists? I have been a fan of the show since it started and have watched every episode at least once. I learn so much and it keeps me humble. I remember some moments that were so intense it was painful to watch. Like the lady who is now an interventionist (southern accent, DOC was alcohol, vodka I think) was shown drunk and sort of slow motion falling backwards in her driveway. Wow! I remembered exactly how it felt! (my DOC was alcohol too) I was so grateful again that I am sober now. :) Also, I watch for the happy endings. I know that they are not all happy endings, but, that's life, right? When the addicts that are clean are nearly glowing with health, it just makes me smile.
  18. The self pity is really grating on my nerves. Has he never heard of getting exercise in a pool? Had to drink the beer so it wouldn't go to waste. Really? I used to think like that, when I was actively drinking. "Nothing ever works out for me RIGHT NOW, so I am going to give up."
  19. Today, the repeat with that evil woman Judy Byington. Used a mentally ill woman to push her agenda about recovered memories and writing a book about it. At the time I took an interest in the subject, and it turns out it was a horrible mess of young girls being abused mentally and physically to believe they had been to and seen satanic ritual killing of infants. It was sad and infuriating.
  20. Hi @OnceSane, I am going to watch it after catching up with this season of RPDR. Thank you for pointing it out. Does anyone else think Milk is just unlikeable? Condescending, with no sense of humor. Anyway, love this show, been watching since it began. No one understands my love of the girls and this show. I am a 57 year old woman, I find these women fierce and fascinating. Just starting watching "The Bitchelor". "Rosebud" LOL!
  21. Does saying "I am an anointed woman of GOD and I walk by faith" make everything real? Tyler needs to be put in "Divine Order" by this woman? (oh, excuse me, his wife) Why do the daughters keep interrupting? It gives mom an excuse to shut down that line of questioning.
