I was watching an old episode of Deadly Women today and one of the stories involved a grandmother who was raising her four grandchildren and, whilst she treated the oldest and the youngest like royalty, she abused the middle two. They mentioned that an abuser tends to single out one child, in this case two, and abuse that child; it reminded me of UBT and poor, little Kaiser.

Whilst I agree that not wanting Rachel and Ross to be in the same room was excessive, let's not forget that Emily showed up at the airport ready to go away with Ross only to find Ross and Rachel in the process of boarding the plane to go on a romantic getaway to Santorini. Not only did Ross say Rachel's name during the wedding ceremony, he was also going to go on his honeymoon with her. I can't blame Emily for freaking out. Having said that, I never understood why she went ahead with the wedding given that she didn't trust him at all.

Yes to your whole post. It always drove me crazy that the friends acted like Emily was an irrational, crazy shrew for not wanting Rachel around. I'd like to see how Monica or Phoebe would act if Chandler or Mike did anything remotely similar.
-
Why would anyone boo the actress? She was just playing a part.
-
I dunno I always had the impression that Chandler had a bit of a crush on Monica.and that's why he wouldn't let it go at the beach house. It was most obvious in this episode but there were other episodes (I can't remember any off the top of my head) where it seemed that Chandler was interested in Monica.

The people who do so say they do it as a preventative measure; to stop the wrinkles from forming rather than "erasing" them. I don't know if this is true, this is what they say. To be honest, most botoxed faces freak me out.

I also have a tile moulding (I, too, don't know what it's called) but without a shower curtain or some kind of partition the water goes all over the place. Agree about the dark coloured tiles.

It's giving me 80s flashbacks - during the late 70s/early80s all the houses in Greece had either pale blue, mint green or pale pink walls *shudder*. It's funny how we look at the same pictures and, yet, notice different things. Looking at those pictures the things that come to mind, other than it really isn't my taste AT ALL, are: they put a tv on the mantleplace? they blocked the window (or is it a French door?) with the couch there's no glass partition or shower curtains to prevent the water from the shower from flooding the floors. I wonder if the window has some kind of glass where you can't see in if you're outside.

I didn't say that Chelsea paid $98 for the leggings; I was merely commenting on the price which is high.
-
$98 for leggings? $98??? I'm reeling at the price

I don't mind the first picture with Cole but the second picture has my inner fashion critic bristling. I know those denim jackets are fashionable but I really hate that they're frayed and aren't finished properly. The bigget offender however are those leggings; granted in person thet may look ok but in the picture they look like tights (pantyhose). If her t-shirt was longer so that it looked like a dress then it would be fine but, as it is now, she looks like she forgot to wear a skirt. At least the caption doen't read "with my perfect, wonderful, awesome, amazing, love of my life husband."

Anyone else feel different about Friends now...
christie replied to neverclearone's topic in Friends [V]
Also, even though they drifted apart, it seems unlikely to me that they wouldn't have bumped into each other all those years. The parents were friends, or at least on friendly terms, so it seems unlikely to me that they weren't both invited to various events. At the very least, they would have heard news about the other from their parents. -
Likewise. Also, I wouldn't think that they were trying to attack me.

Thank you. Looking at that emoji I don't get "I'm so happy I'm crying" but to each their own
-
Why a crying face on a tweet to announce that she booked her Christmas trip? She doesn't like the destination? She doesn't like who she's going with? She wants to stay home for Christmas? I don't know about you but I'm usually happy and excited when I book a trip.

I don't know if it's just my computer but in that picture the red from Chris' socks blends into the background and it looks like his legs have been chopped off - it's quite freaky actually. As for why Kail wears clothes that are too small. it could be vanity, it could be lack of awareness of what her body looks like or it could be the following: a lot of people who are on the bigger side have the mistaken impression that wearing tight clothes will actually nake them look smaller; that the tightnes is actually compressing their bodies. Of course looking at the way that Kail's friends dress, I'd say that they probably think it looks sexy.

@configdotsys best wishes for your surgery and quick recovery

I don't know if they're famewhores or not since I haven't watched it in years but my first thought was damage control for Ryan, something along the lines of telling Ryan's part of the story to counteract anything that Maci may say about him..

So beautiful. Congratulations @mamadrama

Finally, Lux's hair isn't in those stupid pigtails or half ponytail (I don't know what it's called but that's what I call it when they tie up only part of the hair in a ponytail). Kail's haii doesn't look professionally done - even if it is from the day before. Why does she keep on tagging where she gets her clothes from? Does she think that she's some fashion icon and people will be flocking to buy them? I don't believe that anyone is paying her to do this; I think that she does it in the hopes that she'll get some kind of deal with a clothing brand. Speaking of brands, I hate this whole "Kail and the chaos" thing. What does it even mean? I thought her "brand" (barf) was "mother of three who raises her sons and put herself through college all by herself with no help whatsoever." The word "chaos" seems contradictory to this whole all together image that she tries to project (at least that's what I think she's trying to project).

@mamadrama I can't even begin to imagine the pain you're going through (I don't believe this "time heals all wounds" thing; I think the pain is always there, you just learn how to deal with it). Big, big hugs to you.

Good Lord, I'd forgotten about last year's look. This year is definitely an improvement. Initially, I didn't realise that she was wearing leggings. Beige leggings - why? Why make them and, more importantly, why wear them? Doesn't Cate have a mother or friends who can give her some fashion pointers? Rule one: a good bra is your most valuable friend. Rule two: when you have big boobs v-necks or basically any neckline that shows some skin also your friends; crew necks, turtle necks not your friends. And Tyler, it's never a good idea when your top is a lot more low cut than your wife's.
