This! Why in the world does this show have a male show runner!? Bruce Miller is just so proud of himself but this show has become utter nonsense.

My issue with the young dog/puppy is that nobody said anything like, “aren’t you a little old to get a dog? Who’s going to take of it when you’re old and feeble?” Kind of like, when Grace and Frankie went to get a loan for Vybrant and the guy at the bank basically said they were too old unless they wanted a one year loan. Just another example of how sexist ageism is!

Agreed. The whole Peter story was horrible in so many ways. Watching the rehearsals and singing is like unnecessary filler - what is the point!?

I really wanted Grace and Frankie to be more mad at the kids. The kids treat them like senile old ladies and they are VIBRANT! I’ve said it before, but IRL the health of the men would be failing more than the women. But Robert can sing and dance? We never saw him do any kind of cardiac rehab. And It’s all probably to show how sexist ageism, but I want to see the ladies get angrier about it.

Agreed! I’m annoyed that June decided not to take her best chance at escaping Gilead. She’d have a better chance at freeing Hannah from outside, whereas by staying she has a better chance being killed.

Can someone explain why Warren lost a hand for infidelity (taking advantage of Janine and cheating on his wife) and Eden and Isaac had to be drowned? Did the laws change? Or is Love a far worse crime?

Agree. Vee was evil, but she was also smart. She had animteresting backstory and her betrayal of others was devastating.

She was so bad I almost FFed past her scenes. We get it, Madison is an insecure loser desperate to impress Carol and max is harsh.

I also would have liked to see some of the PR fallout from the riot to get a sense of the gravity of it. Where was that nosy reporter from S1? He should have been all over it. It might be interesting see how Piper adapts to life on the outside, especially in contrast to Aleida. Nicky was hilarious this season and I loved how clever she was. I also enjoyed Suzanne and I’m not usually a fan.

There were so many story lines this season that the good ones were diluted. There was so much potential to really dig into the for profit prison angle - what kind of health care was Lorna getting? Why were the guards from the riot back to work so soon? Shouldn’t they have had some paid leave? Don’t they do any psyche evals on these guards because some of them should not have those kinds of responsibilities. Or do the guards get crappy health care too?

Her fingerprints were on the gun too so maybe she feared if they couldn’t blame Taystee they would instead blame her. But it still doesn’t totally make sense because she had a witness that she didn’t, albeit a potentially unreliable witness (Suzanne).

I was hoping Badison would get shivved, but knew they wouldn’t since they invested so much in this stupid character. Maybe she’ll vanish without Carol. and speaking of old Carol, she totally reminded me of church lady. I know the storm troopers said they would get a particular ME to do the autopsy, presumably to falsify it. But it would be pretty obvious he was not killed by the gun Taystee’s fingerprints were on. That’s one corrupt ME.

I would watch a spin-off about Aleida.

Fig has committed worse crimes than some of these women and she’s interim warden. I think Poussey was in for possession. Doggett shot (killed?) a nurse who disrespected her when she got her 5th or 6th abortion. A lot of women were roped into their partner’s or lover’s drug-related crimes - Gloria, Aleida, Daya, and of course, Piper. Lorna was a stalker and credit card fraudster. Did Norma kill a cult leader?

I was disappointed that Badison didn’t disappear after the shanking. She is insufferable.

Badison is ruining this for me. I was excited to see what happened after the riot and instead I have to watch Badison and Barb and whoever else. At least we got see Sofia for 3 minutes.
