Sonny has never had anything to do with Helena because that's been a Luke Thing . Even when Faison did a (temporary) favor and killed Jason and tried to take over Sonny's business, Sonney was reduced to siderantings. The speculation that Maxie will finally get to visit George at Christmastime may be on track. I can see Nathan, after much angsting, confiding in his sister Britt. Britt, knowing the pain of being separated from her son, will ask Nicholas to intervene as a character witness and for his sister's BFF's sake. Nicholas shows up with the backing of Cassadine power, money, and lawyers, arguring for his cousin's character. Judge StickUpAss will be unmoved, until Spencer appears. Spencer will put on his most whiny, scenery chewing, Oliver Twisting effort to plead. Whether his heart grows three sizes or that he is driven to insanity, the Judge relents.

Oh, the other hand, Sarah Paulson has finally passed on the mantle of "character who gets tortured almost all season".

Well, NutmegsMom warned me about His Honor the Ludicrous Plot Device, so I started to pack for the Barge. Before that, I was persuaded to stay with Alexis slapping Julian (which I want as an animate GIF, but with Sonny's face over Julian's). I rewound that as Alexis was yelling at FrankenRon for the Naxie Plotpoint, and I was able to FF successfully. Also, as some people have Shirtless Julian, I was entertained by Sprowling Sam on Bed, with Cleavage and Nice Ass Action. I like Billy Miller with Bandaged Angry Eyebrows with Liz. FrankenRon set up Naxie to troll the viewers how unfair the Judge is. Uh, no. We're pissed because you wrote in a ridiculous plot point and expect us to buy it. Almost as if Sam and Patrick were instructed that all the rooms in Amsterdam were booked, that Patrick had to sleep on the bed, and that both of them had to sleep naked with his penis in her vagina because Dutch reasons. FrankenRon railroaded the viewers into a overly contrived situation to make us care about Naxie and to keep them apart. To quoth someone else railroaded into a situation, "They're fucking with the wrong people".

Now THAT'S the show we grew to love in first season. Revolutionary War name-dropping? Check. Ichabod being Ichabod? Check. Famous event in American History tied into the End of Days? Check. Biblical refernce tied into End of Days? Check. And Reyes makes more sense with Crane's declaration that the Captain is safer in the hospital than out. Like the new guy, no matter how he turns out. Ichabod's and Abbie's discussion about gay marriage -- good unintentional timing, or great unintentional timing? I would laugh so hard if "Hi." Guy was tied into the End of Days War.

Judgy Wudgy is so much in my "Oh FFS, where's the barge?" territory. If FrankenRon can't think of any other reason to keep Nathan and Maxie apart than to have him threathen to keep McKenzie away forever (some more).... There was a time I hoped Judgy Wudgy was in cahoots with the WSB/Fluke/Ethan as a reason. Now I don't give a damn.

Even with the irony of Michael killing yet again in self-defense, I have no issue with him calling Sonny. Shawn was already there. Kobe was already gunning for Michael. And this didn't happen while Kobe was publically humiliating Sonny in public. This was a "been there done that" event for Michael. This makes sense. (checks outside for pigs flying or the resurrection of Georgie) I love how Rosalie freaked out. I'm still wondering if Kobe was part of the Asian Mob (and we may see a Brad sighting). Oh, Brad, Lucas, and Felix are just watching "Golden Girls" and "Knots Landing". Everyone's asking the right question and Julian's giving an honest answer. It'll take a while before they realize Luke is Fluke.

I see yesterday's episode was Michelle Stafford trying to make her breasts and butt relevant, especially since Nina's scenes with Rosalie had the latter in a shapeless dress.

Sign me up for "Nathan is Valentine's Son". Have they said if Valentine would have been the oldest son of Mikkos, which would pass the Cassadine Prince title to Nathan (!!) I can see FauxLuke and Hells working together. It does still throw out the speculation why Helena would bother to care about killing Sonny. (Then again Faison targeted Sonny). Aside from ReRon throwing up MadLibs plots, I'm throwing it out that Helena is FauxHelena, and FauxLuke is Valentine. Oh, and the StavrosLulu Embryo? Watch to see if Nina and Helena have more than a scene.
