  1. Miriel is surprisingly tolerant of being physically attacked and slandered. No matter if she lost a battle or not, no one should be allowed to get away with slapping her. I thought the eagle came for her, not the silver-haired guy. I guess it's all how you spin it. I'm surprised no one at the village is checking newcomers for the mark of Adar. They are very naive. That was a shitty thing the kid said to the elf guy. I hope the elf washes his hands of him. It's so creepy seeing Sauron manipulate Celebrimbor like this.
  2. Yep, I agree that Galadriel is stupid withholding information from the king. Her vision even showed the count of rings and who they'll be allocated to. I hate that she didn't tell everyone who Sauron was as soon as she discovered it. Now Celebrimbor is up shit's creek. I'm surprised the "wise" mentor is telling Elrond that humility is needed in his situation. What?? Elrond seems to be the only sane one around. I was not expecting for more Rome actors to appear! It would be great if Antony showed up. Would the dwarves really be bullying Durin like that? Even if he was on the outs with his father. Sauron is so evil. I can't imagine everything that he's capable of. I really hope Galadriel doesn't try anything now that Elrond's in charge of the mission, she admitted her judgment is compromised.
  3. I barely remember what happened last season, but this was a good premiere. I was not expecting to see Ben Daniels - I just saw him in Interview with the Vampire, he's had a busy year! I have to know what exactly Sauron is. I wasn't expecting him to reform from sludge and devour any living thing he comes across. I wasn't sure if that was the main Sauron actor or not. Silly me, I thought he was sincere about not being evil. Feel horrible about the guy he abandoned. I don't blame Elrond at all for not trusting anything that came from the sphere of Sauron. I hate that Galadriel wasn't punished in anyway for trying to hide the fact that Halbrand was Sauron.
  4. I couldn't believe the Company is basically enslaving people to work for them until they die. Silly me, I thought Rain would be free to go after filling her quota. I surprised that the humans keep treating the synthetics like shit. They really think the synthetics won't get back at them someway? I had a hard time understanding the dialogue, it may have been the accents though. I was interested in seeing what the shot would do to the pregnant lady. I was expecting to see something like the creature from Alien Resurrection, not a psuedo-Engineer from Prometheus. When they showed the "leakage" from the pregnant lady, I honestly thought the creature came back to breastfeed from her. I'm so glad it didn't go that way!
  5. I didn't realize that Aegon's dragon was dead, I thought he was just injured. Larys was right to get Aegon out of there, if Aemond was willing to hurt his sister. Wow at Alicent giving up on Aegon. She finally decided she's had enough, and it's too late. I'm surprised that Criston is capable of being so insightful about the pointlessness of it. Alyn's scene with Corlys was good. I completely get his bitterness and resentment. Daemon's vision made me sad about the lost potential of Game of Thrones. I hate they decided to focus on the lost love between Alicent and Rhaenyra at the end. They mostly just decided to tease the next season - Ulf's lack of respect and entitlement, the Triarchy, Rhaena's fate, etc. I bet the next season won't come until 2026. What a finale. 🙄
  6. I loved the scenes with Lord Tully. I kept laughing at his contempt of Daemon. I feel bad for Jacaerys. Rhaenyra really screwed up her kids by having them outside her marriage and with someone with the wrong features. The dragon keepers worries seemed apt, especially since we know the dragons are all gone at the beginning of Game of Thrones. I felt bad for all those people who answered Rhaenyra's call and ended up roasted for it. I couldn't believe the guards tried to stop them from leaving. When Vermithor first appeared, he looked like a demon. They really amped up the horror feeling around dragons. I wondered why Aemond turned Vhagar around at the end. How did he see the dragons, though? He looked very far away from Dragonstone.
  7. I don't understand why Rhaenyra is keeping her plans from her heir. She keeps shooting herself in the foot by not showing competence to her council. No wonder they don't have faith in her. Aemond just doesn't give two shits! Jason Lannister was arrogant to demand his presence, but why treat his council like shit? Does he really believe Vhagar is the only ally he needs? I couldn't believe he insulted Larys like that. I'm not surprised that he went to give Aegon a pep talk to get rid of Aemond. I know Aegon was a bully, but I still felt bad for him when Aemond came to menace and terrorize. It's something else that the only nice kid of Alicent is the one that grew up away from her. It's interesting that only one of Corlys' sons has white hair. I thought both would have it. Seasmoke is a spiteful troll, why else bend down to the Kingsguard like he was going to let him on? Poor guy. I jumped when he jumped in front of the younger son. I just don't get Rhaenyra with Mysaria. Mysaria just confided that she was raped by her father for years, sterilized, and almost murdered but she felt that was the right time for sexual contact?!
  8. I loved that people were talking back to Daemon this episode - Alys, Simon, and the disgruntled nobility. He isn't shit and I'm glad people aren't all rolling over for him. It's disgusting he dreamed of fucking his own mother. I'm surprised he isn't more hostile to Alys, since he knows she's a witch and he's having hallucinations all the time. I'm glad the King's Landing people didn't cheer at the sight of Meleys' head. Criston is a fool and a coward, I'm glad Alicent dumped his sorry ass. The extreme close-ups on what happened to Aegon were gross. Rhaenyra seems to be treading water. Daemon was supposed to be her big gun, but he seems to be an enemy now and her own people seem to be loosing faith in her. I wonder if she's going to get a win anytime soon.
  9. I thought Rhaenyra had the foresight to let her council know where she was. If I was on her council, I would be so pissed that the Queen and King just leave without providing any updates. Harrenhal is a creepy place. I'm surprised that Daemon drank the potion that Alys gave him. I wonder if she's working a spell on him to drive him insane? He's such an asshole to suggest that the Tully kid kill his grandfather just to get power. I was shocked that he killed his wife during his dream/vision. I guess they really are done. I was surprised that Cole went behind Aegon's back to plan the ambush. He doesn't even try to appear honorable anymore. Holy crap at the murder attempt by Aemond, though! Wasn't he worried about what the witnesses would say? I teared up a bit at Rhaenys' death. I thought she was home free and that giant dragon jumped out. I hated that she saw the proof of her husband's infidelity right before she passed. The dragon fights were really cool. I jumped a few times.
  10. I can't believe the bodies at the beginning were just from the Bracken/Blackwood fight, I thought an actual battle occurred. So those followers of Aegon are now White Cloaks? Yikes. I couldn't stand to have kiss-asses around all the time. The castle is like a frat house now. So much for Ulf talking about the rightful Queen Rhaenyra, and immediately saying "Hail to the King" when he saw Aegon. I wasn't expecting to see so many penises tonight! Aegon is a fool for antagonizing the guy with the biggest dragon, especially after he killed his nephew. Rhaenyra seemed so naive and foolish with the dithering on plans and actually sneaking inside King's Landing.
  11. What a great ending! I was counting down the 4 vampires that escaped from the coven, so I was wondering what happened to the last one. What a great reveal that he was Talamasca. The image of those rocks still being in Louis' feet had me grimace. He has to feel them every time he walks. I was not expecting for Daniel to be turned. I thought he was possessed or something during his interview. Lestat is such a diva. He's living in squalor, playing "piano" on a piece of cardboard - but he managed to turn a millennial vampire and have Wi-Fi installed. The reunion was moving, though. I'm glad Louis decided to embrace his vampirism at the end. Can't wait for the next season.
  12. What a good episode. Why is Louis' memory so unreliable? He forgot how/why Claudia was turned when I thought that would be something you never forget. Armand is full of shit, like always. Not sure why Louis has stayed with him all those years. I'm surprised Lestat didn't kill the guy that called him the awful name. I'm surprised the audience weren't scared when he moved so quickly. This new view of Lestat is interesting. I hope the show is renewed.
  13. I was tearing up a bit at the aftermath of Jaehaerys' murder. I seriously thought his body would fall off the wagon when it got stuck in the ditch. I'm glad nothing like that happened. It's so odd that Alicent kept referring to him as "the child" and not her grandson. I guess to distance herself from her guilt? Though that didn't seem to last long with her jumping back into bed with Cole. I have no good words about that piece of shit Cole. I hate what he did to the twins. Holy crap at that scene between Daemon and Rhaenyra. There's no coming back from that conversation. It would be something if he decides to turn against his wife.
  14. I really hope Louis doesn't fall for that "you asked me to" bs from Armand. Wasn't expecting for Rashid to be a mole! When the Talamasca guy said that Daniel should be worried about Louis instead of Armand, that got me curious. Who is the biggest monster of the two? Why on Earth did Madeleine and Claudia return to Paris!?! That's giving the finger to the Paris coven. Armand is truly a coward. I wonder if Louis stayed with him because he's relieved not to be "burdened" by Claudia. Wasn't expecting to see Lestat in the flesh!
  15. It's good to have the show back. I can barely remember the first season, but I really enjoyed all the locales they used this episode. I'm glad they included Lord Stark being wary of providing too many men due to watchers needed for the Wall. I was tearing up when Rhaenyra found the remains of the dragon and when Jace came into the room. I loved that Daemon tried to command Rhaenys and she just ignored him. I'm glad they included the twin at Dragonstone when he said what are they supposed to do when the royal family turns on each other. Whoa at Alicent. Last season, they made a point of inferring that Rhaenyra used her position to coerce Criston into sex and now the Queen seems to be doing the same? He might not see it that way since he called Rhaenyra a spider (not sure why). Ugh at that sawing sound.
  16. So the vampires aren't supposed to be friendly with humans at all? How very lonely. Was that seriously period blood running down the store owner's legs?? I'm really enjoying Santiago's bitterness towards Louis, most of it is well earned. Uh-oh, at Louis and Claudia leaving the diaries in plain sight. It's interesting to see more cracks form between Armand and Louis. Armand's face when he realized how present Lestat was during their relationship was kind of sad, but then it looks like he tried to plagiarize someone else's work to make Louis feel better about his talents. The ads during this show are terrible. They kept cutting in during crucial scenes, and they cut off the recording at the end.
  17. I enjoyed this episode. The introduction to the Talamascan's was cool / creepy. I'm really surprised that the vampires aren't picking it up from Daniel's mind. It was a bit startling to see the earlier vampires scurrying around like that, hiding in the sewers. Lestat cracked me up, he just didn't give a shit. Louis seems to be losing his mind. I wasn't sure if Lestat was actually mentally haunting him, but it seems to be just his imagination. I'm loving Santiago's contempt for Louis. I'm surprised Louis is so nonchalant about the dangers of not joining the coven. Poor Claudia and her role for the next 50 years.
  18. I liked that they showed Louis and Claudia were immediately tagged and followed once they entered the city. It's pretty scary that the New Orleans crew had no idea they were followed until Armand made himself known. Santiago and Louis seemed destined to butt heads, but Louis didn't help by falling asleep during one of Santiago's performances! I wonder how no one suspects that Louis and Claudia plotted to kill Lestat, especially since it seems that Louis can't guard his thoughts well. I guess it's a ruse at this point.
  19. I was really glad to get confirmation that Maximus didn't maim his friend. That was in the back of my mind for the entire season. Cooper's wife is an evil woman. How could she bring up her child's future, and then mention that bringing war to the world is a viable option? All the Vault-Tec people and their competitors are insane. I wasn't expecting cryogenics to come into play. Hank was such an awful person - immediately writing off his wife when she didn't do what he wanted and then punishing an entire city for it. I wasn't sure when Hank ended up in the end, but I'm glad the closing graphics showed that is was Vegas. I never heard of the game before this came out, but I enjoyed this show. Hopefully it's renewed.
  20. I bet Norm poisoned all the prisoners since they were a drain on resources, though it could have been Betty also. I'm not sure why the cousin is so eager to shack up with the formerly pregnant lady, but he may just be a pushover. Poor Thaddeus! I wasn't expecting for the serum to actually work, but now it seems he isn't human anymore. I'm glad Maximum decided to give up the core so that the community could live. I was afraid he would be too attached to his suit to give a damn. I wasn't expecting for Lucy's situation to be a non-issue from last episode, but the giant and dull knife was hilarious.
  21. The flashback scenes were very interesting. I'm surprised Cooper wasn't upset that his wife invited all those Vault-Tec people to his house. I would have been pissed that she hid it from me. She's sucking up to Vault-Tec, and doesn't seem to care about what her husband feels about it. The Moldaver reveal is very interesting. I have never heard of someone comparing a penis to a pimple before, how disgusting! It was annoying when Lucy decided to automatically trust people just because they're in a vault, but I'm glad she got over that. The video of the lady giving birth to fish creatures and then being eaten by them was messed up.
  22. I can't believe that Maximus thought his story would hold if he went back to the Brotherhood. Did he never plan to shower while on base? It's annoying when Lucy acts as if decency has any say on the surface. Luckily the cannibal didn't shoot Maximus fatally due to her naivety. The vault scenes are becoming creepy now. I forgot that Lucy's dad came from another vault, so it's interesting that people from vault 31 seem to be in the know about what's really going on. Is Lucy's pregnant friend just living with the cousin now?
  23. I really enjoyed this episode. I wasn't surprised by the Ghoul mercy-killing Roger, but I was surprised that he started eating him. Even more surprised that Lucy joined in on the cutting. She's a trooper, she hasn't vomited once from doing gross things. Lucy didn't have much off a reaction to having her finger cut off. He sawed it off and that was it. I would have been screaming and wailing. I laughed at the pregnant lady giving those doll shoes to the tall cousin. I thought they would have had to take off the jumpsuits to have sex, but silly me! The story with Vault 32 is interesting. I'm glad to see that one of the leaders (the older lady) seems to have sense about her - I wonder if she knows what happened to Vault 32?
  24. It's interesting that Maximus recited his brotherhood creed, when he clearly shows he's not a hero. I thought Wasteland people are more self-aware. I'm glad to get that view of the Vault people too. The morons who are running the vault now are just going to get the rest of their people killed. And now they are running low on water and everyone knows it. The backstory on the Ghoul is interesting.
  25. I was surprised to see Maximus turn on his knight so quickly. So he's not only a coward, but self-righteous too. I hated seeing his smirks throughout the episode. After seeing Lucy's behavior this episode, I totally get the pawn shop lady's attitude towards her. Lucy is surprisingly adaptable though, ready to cut off a man's head with her catchphrase. I want to know the story with the vault dwellers and why they stayed down for so long. When the raiders came into 33, they had some radiation but didn't seem to be sick.
