  1. Two things that stood out for me: - How arrogant and unlikeable the McCanns are. Leaving your kids alone so that you can go off drinking and having fun? You may not have killed Madeleine, but it's your fault she disappeared. What horrible people. - I don't understand the purpose of that rich guy's son. The rich Scottish guy who was funding the McCanns' search, I get the point of him. But the son? He was giving some pretty strong opinions in his interviews, considering his only qualification seemed to be 'my dad is rich'. What a prick. Oh, and.... why are British people so arrogant and unlikeable?
  2. Bishme was a lovely person. But he made simple sparkly dresses with peplums and other sparkly clothes. He was nothing special in terms of his designs.
  3. I am happy for Sebastian's win. He made great clothes. People complaining about how his fashion isn't original, that it's just derivative, need to understand that all fashion is derivative. There's nothing original anymore.
  4. I was fully expecting DVF to absolutely love one of these designers... just colour me shocked that it was Hester! I can't believe that DVF wants to mentor her. Is she brining out some new Hello Kitty line or something?? Yay to a Sebastian win! Totally deserved. Garo - ugh. Didn't deserve to be there and those clothes were pretty awful. Not well made, unattractive, boring. No thanks.
  5. Is 'I-don't-need-fire-in-the-Arctic Nathan' also the one who said that he wasn't going to boil his water?
  6. Bye Tim! You were annoying and I didn't want you on my screen anyway. The only person I like so far is the guy whose name I can't remember. He was featured first and had a big beard when we saw him at home with his kid. The other two people were annoying. Neither seem to know anything about the Arctic, which is dumb. I'm missing the intro episode. It's hard to really care about anyone if I don't know anything about them.
  7. I really hope not. But the fact that Nina Garcia takes her seriously makes me have my doubts. The world has gone crazy.
  8. I'm sorry for your loss and what you and your husband had to go through. The ignorance of some people is just mind blowing to me.
  9. WTF was Hester's meltdown all about??!!? Sure, that probably hurt, but were the histrionics and screaming really necessary? You'd think she was getting her entire arm ripped off by the machine. Overly dramatic nonsense that makes me hate her even more. And WTF was up with that house? And the equally stupid on her wife? Are they both children? If her garbage wins next week, then this show has officially jumped the shark. Bye Bishme. I really wanted you to stay instead of Garo. But you've never looked happy to be on the show and, after the death of your sister, I can't imagine you got any happier. And I don't understand the complaints about Bishme's 'plus-size' model.. she was gorgeous, with a gorgeous body. The problem isn't the models here. It's having designers who can't actually design.
  10. You know an outfit is bad when Cardi B won't wear it.
  11. Thank you! I couldn't believe that nonsense that Tessa came out with. She clearly doesn't understand what wabi sabi is and it was driving me nuts!
  12. When they showed Tessa's collection throughout the season so far, my first thought was, "my god, what kind of boring, humourless person creates such a dull collection". She is just so miserable and it's reflected in her clothes. So glad that she's gone. I did love the guest judge, the older lady whose name I can't remember. The look on her face when looking at Hester's clothes!!! Priceless! And the look when the other judges were praising them! Awesome. So glad that someone on this show finally reacted in a normal way to Hester's clothes. I like Sebastian's clothes, and want him to win, but I don't understand him as a person. He doesn't seem to be able to express himself at all, in English or in Spanish, and can't seem to have a coherent thought. I did, however, enjoy someone finally making the point that the STORY is pointless and the clothes are what's important!
  13. I'm impressed that anyone made it through this. I turned it off during episode 2. What a bunch of morons. Seriously, we're all doomed if/when a serious outbreak occurs, because people are just idiots.
  14. Zzzzz.…. there's a reason I don't watch British cop shows. They're so boring! I don't know if it's the actors or what, but they're just so dull. And this was dull. I hope it picks up.
  15. And I disagree. She was not the best of the worst.
  16. During judging, how was Hester (along with Bishme) immediately deemed to be safe? She made an awful pink monstrosity that was basically the same as the swimsuit she made a while back, but with a bit more material at the bottom. It was terrible. I used to try and defend Tessa but not anymore. She is just an awful person and completely clueless about how she comes across. Her levels of arrogance and being self-absorbed are just off the charts. And she has no talent to back that up. She has no insight into how many excuses she comes out with constantly and loves to throw others under the bus. Nothing is ever her fault or responsibility. Jamal.… how do you manage to make a quite beautiful gown out of a duvet one week, then you can't make a simple dress the next? He seemed to have a client who was pretty open and laid back, yet he couldn't make anything. Odd. He really deserved to go, for making that young woman so uncomfortable. Garo - Meh. He did what he usually does. I'm glad he makes his clients so happy. But his designs, though well made, do nothing for me. Sebastian - I really liked his one. His client looked so happy. I didn't like some of the comments made by the judges about the client or the dress, I thought they were kind of snotty and rude. It was a cute, well made dress that made the client happy. BIshme - I really thought this dress should have won. I vaguely remember a judge having a problem with the colour, but I loved the colour. And I loved the design.
  17. Is it just me or was Penny wearing the same T-shirt at the end of this episode that she was at the beginning of the first ever episode? That turquoise one?
  18. After being really disappointed by the GoT finale, I watched this in the hope that it would be awesome. I really thought it would be. I was so disappointed in that expectation. - Really, show? A woman can't decide not to have children and be able to stick with that decision? Why not have Amy get pregnant? You know, someone who would actually want kids, not the person who clearly decided she did not want kids. - So, Raj is still single? Really? - It took Sheldon 12 years to stop being a dick? Haven't we seen this before? And he goes right back to being a dick again. Yawn, it's boring now. - Penny Hofstadter? Really? - After not being able to speak in front of crowds, Sheldon can suddenly give an off-the-cuff coherent speech, while sober, in front of the Nobel crowd, without passing out? - I'm sure there was more stuff that annoyed me. I can't even remember much, besides what I wrote above. The first half hour was really boring. They had an hour to do something amazing and this is the best they could come up with?
  19. That was my take on the scene as well. Some people just seem to want to hate on Tessa.
  20. There are so many things I want to say about this episode, but I'll stick to just two: 1. All I wanted was for Jamie to kill Cersei. Was that too much to ask? She's awful, just kill her. And he couldn't even do that. 2. WTF has happened to this show? The first two episodes this season were so good. I had such high hopes. And then it all just went to shit. WTF show??!!!!?
  21. Wow, I never liked Bennet and he just turned into a little bitch in this episode! There was always something off about him, something I didn't really like or trust. What a douche canoe. I'm guessing England kicked him out and didn't want him there! You're right, Bennet, this is Top Chef Canada and we don't like little bitches here, so... bye!
  22. I just thought it was simply known as a bathing suit. And a two-piece is a bikini.
  23. I'm pretty sure the thought going though Tessa's head when she was choosing teammates was, "oh my god, don't choose anyone black!!!" And Hester's was , "fuck, I have to pick one of the black people, but I'll choose him second just to make me feel better".
