  1. Paedon had said before about Robyn's crying "I believe the reddit consensus is that there are no actual tears." He knows exactly what to confirm and what to say. Its not shocking that he confirmed "everything we (reddit) suspected!" And yes he was smiling and laughing when talking about the situation with Meri as he bantered with the hosts. Regarding Gwen's comments, she actually did not say that Meri hit Mykelti. She said she "got physical once." In a small LDS offshoot closeted community in Utah, the use of physical discipline is likely common and accepted. We know Kody spanked. And we know Meri worked with At Risk youth - which in Utah may have like those camps we read about. Firm, strict, rigid discipline and even sometimes abusive. But this may explain Paeodn's version that it was savior Robyn who first "recognized" it as wrong?? It's shocking but according to varying state laws, you can spank, slap and even hit a child so long as it does not cause injury or leave any bruises or marks beyond twenty four hours. I hate it, but it's true. I suspect that Meri was very rigid and a harsh disciplinarian. I can believe she got physical and lost her sh*t and yelled a lot. I am unsure if that qualifies as abuse and none of us can actually know until all the vague language stops.
  2. So on reddit, someone posted a screenshot allegedly from Gwen about the "abuse" from Meri. Gwen, who on YouTube has expressed a closeness with Meri said, she was scary as a kid but she never attacked me and i only saw her violent once. that was all a long time ago
  3. Paedon did cancel a second podcast. He was scheduled for another one with a different podcaster this week and cancelled it. I still say it's really hard to refute because it was so vague. He says he didn't feel "safe," and Meri was "more the verbal" - but he didn't say the word abuse. The internet just put that together. Though I'm sure that's what he meant to imply. But how do you defend yourself against something that he didn't actually say? So it's tricky to respond. She cannot deny him his feelings. And even I don't know what "more than verbal" actually means in Paedon language. It could just mean yelling? And we for sure know she yelled. Such a mess. Some sort of statement on either end would be helpful for sure.
  4. Yes. She's rearranged her whole page from a few days ago and by her latest videos, it's got to be Jackie. Definitely targeting just Meri and Kody. I noticed comments calling the account out on all the inconsistent things and those comments are now gone. When the first videos started, it really did sound like the kids - I knew it wasn't them - but I had to second guess. Now its for sure not them (though seemingly a lot of people still believe it is). It's funny because those same people probably question how Meri could have been catfished haha. And they changed the header now saying "for entertainment purposes" to protect themselves.
  5. It was the show's coverup for Meri's lesbian affair.
  6. That account keeps deleting old things. A few people tracked it to Canada. Other's said it was an account solely used to discredit/mock Meri (long before this team showed up). Today it deleted comments and said it would switch to private. Now it's staying it is seeking additional legal and technical advice to protect "innocent parties." It could definitely be Jackie since this "team" maintains that Meri was never catfished. I agree that the synthesizer is using speech patterns - or maybe we are wrong and it really is the kids because there was one that was exactly Aspyn, you know how she laughs when she's nervous. It was the same cadence and everything, I find myself very confused and I used to think of myself as being able to pick out the scams pretty well. My brain at the moment cannot make sense of this...but why they keep saying "we must remain anonymous for our protection but more will be released in the next weeks" Is it just to protect the show? I know there must be a reason but I can't think of it. The account wants us to think its the family. @toxcicitea is the account
  7. Paedon has admitted to bullying these people and he used the word "bully." And we know that Paedon and Gwen were not allowed to be left alone together. He did defend slapping her and said that was just "normal" sibling stuff. He called the people questioning the slap, "man haters." But yes, we don't know the extent to which any of this all played out.
  8. I don't know that anyone expects him to do that. But HE stated that he didn't want to provide details to protect the show and his family's income. I don't think he could have predicted the snowball effect. His parents forced the children to play happy nice nice with their abuser for over a decade while they were on TV? And now they want to silence him to keep the show? That's the issue that makes this all confusing. He keeps unknowingly implicating his family but I don't think he means to.
  9. If I were her (thank god I'm not), I would consult a legal team before I said anything. Don't say anything until you know exactly what to say. Paedon's actual words were vague. They were meant to imply the conclusions that the internet reached. But his actual words like "we didn't feel safe" and "more than verbal" are wishy washy. He never actually said the word "abuse" outright. So Meri needs to be careful with how she responds.
  10. If the allegations are true the adults kept their mouths shut for decades. Instead of acting to protect their children they harbored an abuser who was allegedly life threatening. They decided to go on a tv show and portray their functional happy polygamist life instead. Perhaps they don't say anything because they realize they are all complicit. You can't have "Saint Christine and Logical Janelle," if they allowed "Monster Meri" to abuse their children. It exposes them as negligent but also complete liars for 17 seasons. My guess is they are trying to figure out what to say next.
  11. When Christine was interviewed by a podcaster a while back the podcaster said that she was not allowed to ask about Meri or Robyn. In another interview that Paedon did a while back he said he wasn't allowed to talk about Meri. Now, we get this giant inflammatory three hour expose (the day after Meri's public divorce) followed by the creation of an anonymous TikTok team. That team uses voices distorters and they all say "more will be released soon." The angle is that Meri was "baaaaaaad" and Janelle and Christine were "queens." I am wondering.... do you think some of this might be a response to Meri's veiled comments lately? She seemed to imply that she was writing a book. I wonder if that thought made the family take offense.
  12. I thought about that too and don't know much about the law. She does have fractured relationships in that family. She was iced out long ago. If the alleged allegations are false, I don't think she could even actually prove it?
  13. The measles story is that the whole family had an outbreak of measles which caused a long delay before the first year of filming.
  14. He says when Robyn first entered the family which was before filming occurred or at the very least before the show aired. And I can't recall if he confirmed the measles story. I think he did? and if that's true then yes it would have been well before filming when Robyn came in as savior angel. Either way, Paedon seems to insinuate it was ongoing "beyond" and Christine said "harsh." So they knew - and did nothing.... or there is much more to this story. Sounds like the family was one complete ball of messy and irresponsible adults.
  15. Paedon is playing a dangerous game at the moment because it won't take too much time for the fandom to realize... If his allegations are true to the extent that he seems to be insinuating. Then he is also implicating his mother. Christine, Janelle, and Kody are negligent. We've seen prior evidence of this anyway. I don't know what Paedon's definition of abuse actually is since he seems to be saying some was "justified" while Meri's was "beyond." But if his life was truly threatened then all the adults in that house are at fault. And then after the incident, they went on Sister Wives to "sell us their happy family."
  16. Yes. Before someone can have a breast reduction, the medical reasons must be verifiable. Often other treatments including physical therapy are tried first. Then, before any surgery you check for authorization. I don't understand the comment "my mom was pissed because they said they would?" Who said? Did she not get pre-authorization paperwork? I don't get it?
  17. lol off camera I could totally believe Janelle went off. She said she stuffs and stuffs and stuffs and then blows. None of them had healthy communication or coping skills
  18. When did Christine cut Meri off from her kids? She packed up Ysabel and moved her into Meri's around the same time. There is no excuse for abuse at all. I have not heard any accusations of physical abuse against Meri but I can see how she could have lost her shit in that system. I can see a case for verbal abuse. I actually don't think anyone is denying that Meri was problematic. All the adults struggled with emotional regulation, but hers was the most abrasive for sure. The physical abuse accusation we have heard is from Gwen - about Paedon. Normal roughhousing is normal. Bullying to the point that they no longer speak is not normal. Gwen said it was relentless. The aggression in that house was unchecked and allowed to fester for years - by all the adults. I also think there is an abuse of the word abuse, as it gets bent through many different perspectives and lenses. When we look at the kids behaviors - it's not to judge the kids but to examine the context. The more rebellious ones HATE Meri. The rule followers loved her. Ysabel, Gwen, Logan and even Hunter ( who was angry but didn't take out his aggression on younger siblings). I think if Paedon want's to make such an accusation he should make one. Of course. But don't lump it into a giant "tea spilling" interview designed specifically to light up social media and garner more attention. I feel like we can question Paedon's motivation and credibility without invalidating his experience.
  19. Season 3 Episode 7: Yes Paedon poked Breanna in the eye. Kody I think? or someone says "you poked her in the eye..." There are tears and arguing. Robyn and Meri say in the episode that Paedon and Garrison are picking on the little kids. "These kids have been doing this way too long, way too much, and something needed to be said now." Meri addresses all the kids and said the behavior needs to change and that it's ridiculous. Christine comments that "the timing was off." Meri asks if "its best to just let things slide, where kids are being mean to other kids? just let it go?" Christine says she would have preferred to just talk to Paedon (alone I guess). Kody defends Meri. Says he was angry and glad she stepped in. He says he's concerned about the bullying in the family. (Later we find out that Paedon specifically had issues with bullying Dayton, Aurora, Breanna and Gwen. Gwen confirms it was bad for a long time). In the interview the older kids blame all the family fighting on moving to Vegas but Paedon nor Garrison is ever interviewed. It does seem like it was very chaotic, tumultuous time. In a recap episode Robyn tells Meri that this scene should be her "proudest moment." They were definitely running around hitting each other, "rough housing" and bleeding noses. Some of that I guess they wrote off as 'boys will be boys," but all the confrontational stuff seemed to have fester. And we know it spilled over to bullying of the little kids. Seems like a real angry bunch. And I'll say that even in Lehi they were often left in the care of Logan and Aspyn. I don't think the family as a whole had any clear boundaries. It all seemed chaotic and dysfunctional. Doesn't seem like any of the parents win any awards. Meri probably did yell too harshly out of a need to find some order. I'm sure she was probably scary. Janelle, if she was present, was passive and overrun, and Christine was very much still like a child. I think she thrived as the nurturer fun one - but she just doesnt' draw lines (images of Ysabel <with severe back pain> encouraged to jump full force into a Christmas tree for example). And I know she says she lost sleep because of whatever Mykelti was doing.
  20. When I wrote above, I was angry because I was sensitive to the undertones in his interview. It's clear that I do not agree with his many problematic views. However I didn't mean to invalidate his experience through his lens. My issue is more about how that lens was formed. I am not entirely sure his stories are credible. Do we find it odd that he "confirms" everything we knew? Why now? Why is he doing these TikToks and explosive interviews? Well he lives for drama - from his own mouth. So I question Paedon's motivation in this "explosive interview." He is attacking Gwen, Leon and Leon's mother and I don't think that is a coincidence. Certainly every family member has a right to their opinion and their perspective, but he frequently speaks on behalf of all the Brown children - which he should not. There are a multitude of inconsistencies, and given the context of his offensive statements, I'd say he's prone to massive exaggeration. He has a narrative, that he wants to create and sell. He also has people he wants to punish. We've seen this same behavior in Kody. Paedon knows exactly what to say to fuel fires. So while I understand this is his lens. We have to put these stories context. He's been incredibly cruel to two of his siblings. It's not a coincidence that he's craving and loving the attention. Mykelti too, just made a patreon account. Sometimes I wonder if we, the audience are doing the kids a disservice by encouraging the exploitation of family drama. Perhaps we should pay for their therapy bills rather than inflammatory tea.
  21. Jon Yates has some seriously problematic takes - google him before you give him a view. And Paedon is just a showboat spewing for attention. He sounds just like his father. Plus he's talking about fake women's crying. Women's lack of respect. He accuses Gwen of using her bisexualtiy and autism to avoid criticism. He of course attacks Leon and Meri and says that no one talks to them. Accuses Meri of abuse and says that Leon being gay is Meri's punishment. He misgenders Leon multiple times, uses homophobic slurs (while saying he's not homophobic). I don't question his experience but I do question his motivation and these sweeping generalizations. He seems very confused on things and to me it sounds like he is getting his info. from social media. For example, he was mad that Logan put Meri up front and that Christine was in the second row. But Gwen already explained that Christine moved to the second row aisle so she could film and livestream for Mykelti. Paedon is just a sh*t stirrer.

    Mykelti

Jon Yates is gross and Paedon is just showboat spewing for attention. He sounds just like his father. Plus he's talking about fake women's crying. Lack of respect. He accuses Gwen of using her bisexualtiy and autism to avoid criticism. He of course attack Leon and Meri and says no one talks to them. But his knowledge isn't great. He was mad that Logan put Meri up front and that Christine was in the second row. But Gwen already explained that Christine moved to the second row aisle so she could film and livestream for Mykelti. Paedon is just a sh*t stirrer. It's starting to get weird. Wonder if the market is saturated. I'd rather hear from some more drama free people like Logan if any kids are going to talk. It's odd that they all want to make money based on pain and exploitation.
  23. Except in another breath she says she can't talk about spoilers. So it's hard to tell if she is talking about now or then in most of her comments.
  24. there are some seriously unhinged Saint Christine warriors over there. Why do they worship her. Meri is no prize, but she doesn't owe Christine anything.
  25. You all will probably not agree with me, but I think Meri won. Given that her family is still in "the faith," Meri doubled down on her "commitment" after the humiliating catfishing crap. She did indeed hang on until he finally gave up. He left. So he's the one that broke their eternal vow. She can walk away cleanly and publicly now. The remaining question. Will she still be on the show? Unlike the others, I don't see an option. The others have their family ties and Meri doesn't.
