Is it possible it's a fake out, and this job opening is in SF and not LA?

Has anyone considered that Madison loses the twins and Kevin ends up marrying another person and/ or has kids with another person later in life...and that is why Kevin looks much too old when we see him in the future w his kids? I can't wait to see how Beth reacts to Randall when she finds out what he said to Kevin. Some of Randalls words hit me in the gut! I wonder if Beth and/ or Rebecca will make them reconcile? Or will something bad happen to one of Randalls kids? Or will Randall have another panic attack and need Kevin? Will the therapist finally get through to Randall? Out of shape purse scratcher. Haha. Please tell me Chrissy Metz is wearing padding. Hope this show can come back as scheduled next season, given the current public health crisis.

"Oh please. I live for this stuff." - Best line of the night for me! Haha. Who were those (twin) baby girls and Kate's imaginary husband? Great acting tonight from SKB. ...so THAT'S why they are not speaking in the future. Will be very interesting to see how this plays out. I kind of like cool, rotten Randall. Ha.

When I first found out his character would be named Peter, that's just what I thought. Lol. Would be funny if during the last episode it turns out it IS Peter Bretter -- or some otherworldly version of him! I thought the first episode was intriguing enough to watch another episode. Methinks the "Wizard of Oz" type leader character, Octavio, is an unreliable narrator. Wink. I had visions of A Clockwork Orange with that opening shot with the orange (duh) background.

I actually laughed out loud several times during the episode. There were several call backs that fit in nicely and didn't seem forced. I cracked up at the camera angle so we could see Fiz'beau'. Lol!
-
To add...what was that line from M. Knight? Something you saw coming, but didn't know you wanted?! Did anyone get that line? I figured it was foreshadowing for the episode's ending....?

My very favorite part of the entire episode was when Kevin went back to Claire's grave to retrieve the photo! Nice bit of humor in this nostalgic episode. I was thought it was weird you did that too Kevin! lol Yes, child actor Kevin is adorns! I too think there is wiggle room with Kevin and Sophie. I was really shipping them tonight. And nice of Rebecca to not even watch the "Days" episode...not.

I found the scene when Mary Pat hit Boomer with her car and then freaked out trying to figure out what to do about it....against that elevator music/song...and then realized the kids were oblivious because of their devices, etc...to be hilarious. Well done, very comedic. I don't want Dean and Beth joining forces to be criminals. When Beth got upset because Rio said it was just business...I was like, girl, what did you expect? She was acting like a little high school girl who got rejected. Boo-hoo. Sorry Beth. That grandma is a sneak...first she lied about Gloria Pritchett's recipe...now this! Tsk, tsk.

That's just what I was thinking...why waste all that food and your hard work!!! I bake and I just loved those cute Turkey Cupcakes she piped. Gotta find a picture. If Ruby talked to me like that, mess or no mess, I certainly wouldn't be in her company any time soon. Right, Day ain't over. Ruby wasn't thinking. Beth is no savoir...she got her sister and friend in a lot of tight spots where they could have been raped or killed or both. I don't like Beth. I think that FBI boyfriend Noah and Annie are in it together and Noah KNEW there would be no evidence during the raid...he just set it up to seem like he was doing his job. He has fallen for Annie.

S44.E19: Adam Sandler / Shawn Mendes
mansfolly replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Saturday Night Live
I thought this was one of the best episodes this year! I laughed throughout. That Perillo Tours take off was hysterical! Some people are so miserable and leave the worst reviews for these tours -- just because they are miserable people and can't find the joy in any situation. I've read enough of those type reviews and witnessed those types of people. I could not stop laughing. The "They're all gonna laugh at you." line from Wiig was from "Carrie". That was a take off of the Piper Laurie mother character. I cracked up. How obscure! That is one of my favorite movie lines to quote. Haha. Unlike a lot of you, I liked the Hole Clothes video. It got more and more absurd....which I found very very funny. WU was good took as was the CNN skit. -
Did anyone else notice the awkwardness when Jeremiah greeted his parents? His mom hogged him, while his powerless father couldn't even get in for a tiny hug. Kinda embarrassing.

Yes, yes, yes! I feel the same way!

I'm loving Laci more and more each week. I love her rendition of "Love of my Life". It was very moving. Wade really stunk up WATC. Very poor performance. What were those judges thinking? Agreed, about Alejandro. The sound mix was really off for his solo and I too was not crazy about his rendition, although I generally like his performances.
-
Agreed...something is going on with her health at least and I do believe there was some sort of foreshadowing in an earlier episode.

My favorite part, and I laughed out loud, was the look on SKB's and Beth's faces when that woman opened the pretzels and started chomping on them. Their reaction was so me. Kevin, when he passed Madison as he came out the elevator, should have at least apologized, hung over/buzzed or not. And, yes Rebecca, I have always noticed the funny face of electrical wall outlets. I liked the episode. And although I knew it was coming, I shed a tear at Kate naming the baby (was it a doll? who allowed filming near a preemie?) and speaking to Grandpa Jack. ps/ Of course the liquid in Kevin's bottle was vodka...as a lot of others have noted.
-
I thought Grapes was the answer. That's exactly what I thought....Whoever is watching the kids can watch them when both Randall and Beth are working. Problem solved. Ha.
-
I found this hysterical. I love awkward Mooney. Love Aidy's line....."Bitch!".

I was thinking perhaps Jack was drunk when he was eating the pizza and started the sequin fight. He was a mess all day...and couldn't catch a moment to himself, so maybe he drank to "take the edge off", as they say. Griffin Dunne is doing great in this role. When Kevin started drinking that whiskey, it gave me the same (sad) feeling I had when watching Cooper's character in A star is born.

I think one of the Vietnamese girls is going to end up in a relationship with Jack's brother. I think she is the one with the necklace. Jack's brother will be killed by one of those makeshift can bombs....that Jack never alerted anyone about....and will forever feel guilty that he killed his brother (just like the soldier playing football). Jack had that necklace because Nicky's local girlfriend gives the necklace to Jack after Nicky is killed. ?

Wasn't that Vietnamese motorbike rider Dustin N (too lazy to look it up) from the original "21 Jump Street" with Depp? I love me some young Jack and Rebecca. More please. Sure would rather watch them than Toby and Kate. I knew it would be that Zoe's dad molested her. She got sick. Well, bat will do that to a person. Agreed, tennisgurl. Agreed, Ms. Blue Jay. They really do a great job on this show with the effects/makeup to reflect the characters' different life stages.

S08.E04: Could It Be . . . Satan?
mansfolly replied to PrincessPurrsALot's topic in American Horror Story
I've read most of the comments... When Michael was in jail...I was like - Couldn't he have willed the jail cell door open? He willed 5 or so knives into the body of that butcher. Why did he need that warlock to get him out of prison. -
A thousand times yes. I thought the exact thing, Ottis.

S02.E17: This Big, Amazing, Beautiful Life
mansfolly replied to ElectricBoogaloo's topic in This Is Us
Forgot to add this earlier, I was wondering if the producers are looking to spin off the Deja/Shawna story for its own show - considering the popularity of "This is Us". -
S02.E17: This Big, Amazing, Beautiful Life
mansfolly replied to ElectricBoogaloo's topic in This Is Us
Like some of you, I was never really interested or invested in the Deja story. But I thought they did a very good job providing us a background and how it can be for a child in her position, in the system and trying to survive an unreliable - to say the least - mother. I turned away when she was left alone with those three men in the apartment after her mom went off to work -- I thought she was going to be abused. Thank God she just went off to school. I hope she one day reunites with that young girl friend from her first foster home. I think we got a few glimpses / flashbacks of Jack and his brother (reading the Moon story, etc.) My very favorite part of the entire episode, was the SNL commercial about SKB making us cry and hosting SNL this week. Fun-ny! Word. -
The scene towards the end, in the basement. When (Beverly?) was stating Kai is not fit to rule.... I turned my head and just listened to the dialogue coming from Kai -- and those words could have been uttered by #45 any day -- with others around him yelling how unfit and unstable he is. It does seem like Kai running off the rails at an increased pace and starting to make things up as he goes. I am finding that while watching this show, as each episode airs, I'm turning my eyes away more and more. The scene in the Rick Springfield horror house with the post abortion woman was unwatchable for me. The "messiah" seeding scene was batsh_t crazy. As others mentioned, so glad Winter came to her senses. I too was surprised Ally sold out the Dr so quickly --- but after everything he let her suffer -- I can see why. When she gave the sloppy joe to Kai, she didn't turn off the flame! That bothered me! How is Ivy making any income now that her restaurant it the barracks for Kai's militia men? That mortgage is not paying itself. I was not surprised when Ally took off the clown mask to reveal herself. Yes, who is watching Oz? Will continue to watch... to see who comes out on top. Where was Bibi this week and how does she fit in all this?
