  1. Best part of the evening. I legit guffawed and had to rewind and watch that multiple times.
  2. I HAVE FEELINGS ABOUT THIS SHOW. I AM NOT OK.
  3. So, with Wednesday's flash forward with Jimmy and the florist, there appeared to be toys in the backseat of the car? And Jimmy appears to be wearing the same outfit and shoes for the future wedding as in his other flash forwards (with the house for sale and then the movers taking the DVD machine out) only sans jacket. I need to see how this all wraps up, dammnit!
  4. What is it with this show and random cliffhangers? Ugh. I literally shouted, "wait, what?!" to no one in the house, lol. The replacement Honey Nutz cracked me up. Good to see Vernon and Becca again (she's still The Worst).
  5. Speaking as a Kansas Citian, I agree they should come here and wondered why they haven't. Being literally in the middle of America we have a whole mish-mash of everything. We're more than just barbeque. (Although we have some damn fine BBQ). There's such an amalgamation of things here, they'd probably wouldn't run out of ideas.
  6. This is the second person that thinks she's marrying Boone - Justina (the Therapist) also thought it was Boone. I'm waiting for someone else to say his name and he pops up like Beetlejuice... Not that that's a bad thing...I didn't mind Boone, all things considered. Also, can Paul F. Tompkins please go away? Ugh.
  7. Yep. Jan 9th. Lots of promos being shown on FXX and they're upping promotion on Facebook and Instagram. I'm beyond ready to see what happens next.
  8. Was up way too late last night and had Archer on in the background - saw a teaser as well. New episodes start in January, but they didn't give a date.
  9. Oh, hello there, Ben Daniels. Really liking this so far, but I still feel like John Legend just showed up in his bathrobe and is just wandering around singing along...
  10. I agree. He's always had a weird, almost romantic way with words to Gretchen (I mean, he's a writer after all)... going back to the S1 finale speech he gave her in the apartment when he was trying to give her a key, his speech on the mountain in S3, etc. Underneath the big words and pomposity of them, there's some genuine emotion there. But, it always has to be tempered somehow so as not to appear completely sappy because he can't let himself be THAT vulnerable. But, really, the only one that he will be that vulnerable to is her. He also can't leave well enough alone - had to just poke that bear that she was in the wrong too (to him, anyway). And that BOOK. Seriously, he admitted in the fight episode last year that their relationship was the inspiration for the book. He disappears for three months and then asks if she wants to see the damn book?! No kidding she let that shit fall to the ground HARD.
  11. It was a giant jawbreaker. About the size of a baseball, for sure. Also? HELLO, MAYTAG MAN! I have more thoughts on the episode, but those will come later.
  12. He didn't. I did notice a parallel between the end scene of the Pilot and the end scene of the S4 premiere. In the premiere, Gretchen and Jimmy had the fight about the night before and she goes over to Douche-y Ty's house, they hook up, she grabs cocaine for Sam and the boys, and does a hit herself. She's in the bathtub taking the hit when Jimmy calls and they banter flirtily back and forth and you can see the start of the relationship. In this, she's again hiding out over by Ty's tub (that sounds like a weird bar), goes over to hook up, and bam! Jimmy's text. Only this time, she ignores it. I scared the dog with the noise I made when that "Hey..." popped up. Ugh.
