  1. This. So much this!!! For the love of Santa, spring for one glass ornament for the beauty shot!!! Otherwise, I really enjoyed this run. I like to see talented people work on their projects without manufactured drama and plot twists thrown at them. I wish they had a little more time to complete their projects. The times seemed short, but they got a lot accomplished, so apparently it was enough. I am happy that Kat won.
  2. My first thought was, "Dang, he broke Pharell!" I thought Pharell looked stunned and was glad he got a break. It seemed to me that seeing the smug slave owner named William Williams slammed home the origin of his last name. I wouldn't be surprised if he dropped the last name and just went by Pharell now. I wouldn't blame him either. He really seemed to be affected by reading the letter. I think he really felt Jane's voice.
  3. I really miss Tom Bergeron!! He was so quick with gentle wit to smooth rough patches. My other problem with this season is the exuberant crowd sounds. We know there is no studio audience. Stop faking it!! It's hard to hear what's being said. At least turn it down to a dull roar.
  4. I was horrified that Jill was putting her nice sheet right on top of the hotel mattress. That's not a lot of fiber between you and the thousands who have slept and secreted things there before. If she brought all the other linens, she couldn't throw in a mattress cover?
  5. I just watched the youtube video of the three finalists talking to each other and showing their chest and back pieces. It's a shame they didn't get to finish the third piece and compete, but what they did finish is amazing. I'm glad they shared them and we can enjoy the artwork without the nitpicking. It looks like these three will stay friends from this experience. I like the comradery so much better than the manufactured drama they lean on some seasons.
  6. Well Dang. I was really looking forward to the finale. I like all three artists and wanted to see how their final pieces came out. At least we get to see their work tomorrow. I bet they will have some special rematch in a year or two" to settle the matter once and for all".
  7. I just rewatched, and saw that Lily was there for the picture at the end. She is wearing a brown hat and standing in the back between Cam and Dylan. The new baby was carried in the car seat toward the door, but then disappears for the picture taking.
  8. Like a lot of people have said, this was a pretty good episode following in the wake of a super provocative one. I will have to go back and rewatch it. I kept getting distracted by details: "OMG, how can they set up the camp in the middle of the garbage. Doesn't that stink? Ewww. It's still daylight, you can find somewhere cleaner to camp." "Hey, what about the guy we left watching birds on the beach? Doesn't anyone wonder where he went?" "Umm, don't follow the alien in the gas mask home, Yaz! At least hold your breath! It's an alien planet. Is there air? You don't know! (thanks GalaxyQuest)" "Why do you always park so far away? You could save a lot of running if you would park closer."
  9. Heh. Margo said "Timey-wimey". She's really become one of my favorites. I didn't even like her in season one. Now, she's right up there with Penny. I'm having trouble following the Kady plot line, too. I didn't like Alice bringing out the Quentin golem, but I did like the explanation of her turning back the to the beginning of the book as a reason for him being so young. I'm glad he was released. The young actor was a good match for the role.
  10. But what was in the package??? After all that, someone could at least have rattled it and made a guess. It seems like Louise should have some special ninja skills at present guessing. I'm glad Mike came through and let the kid have it.
  11. Why can't we have pretty dresses anymore. I realize that this was a tough assignment. They were so afraid to come out looking "pageant" that they were frozen. Silk ballgowns should have been flowing and beautiful. These were --- not. Irina's looked like a saloon girl extra in Westworld trying to pull focus. Dimitri's looked a lot like every other dress he's made this season. Biddell's big red monster reminded me of something Bug's Bunny used to chase around. AR was channeling Bea Arthur. Michelle's never came together past the scary-messy stage. They were all so disappointing 😞
  12. I really hope they don't turn this into being just a hologram simulation/dream sequence/etc. On TNG, Data turned somewhat evil under his brother's influence. He came back around and the other crewmembers didn't shun him. It did add some depth to his character. Also, Bender occasionally got his programming tweaked around on Futurama. His crewmates still hung out with him, even though his primary goal was to "kill all humans". So, I am looking forward to seeing how this resolves with Isaac. I believe Ty was able to walk out the air locks because he was supposed to know better. Again, going back to TNG (such a Trekkie), there were no barriers to get onto the bridge because everyone was able to restrain themselves. They knew the rules and followed them. I think the redshirts were killed. The Kaylons have no use for biologics, so they would probably not have a stun setting on their eyelash phasers. I'm a little surprised they didn't vaporize them. Less hassle than hauling bones downstairs. Maybe there are hatches on the surface they drop them through-- they were heaped pretty high. I have been thinking about this episode waaaay too much.
  13. "This is probably going to cause cancer" is so what I would be thinking seeing that scanner. I loved Sally Field's speech and Bortus wanting a corner piece. I'm hoping we can recover Isaac for the crew. But that ending, dang. I was right back to the Borg taking Picard and heading to Earth. I'm so glad we don't have to wait all summer to see what happens.
  14. I'm a quilter, so this episode is my new favorite! I need to go back and watch again to see everything in Frond's living room. Poor Teddy, I mistook wasabi for guacamole mistake once. Once!
  15. "Muling? You kids Mulin'?" It made me laugh way too long.
