  1. I think Mursel is the victim of some unfair editing maybe.  It's hard for me to believe he's made so little effort to connect with Anna's kids.  Otoh, the older boy had pretty much decided against him right from the get go so he had an up-hill battle no matter what.

  2. Just watching the replay of this episode.  "As a CIS white male Syngin has a lot to unlearn."   So says Tania's roomie over at camp witchy-poo,

lol...one has to laugh at the delicious hypocrisy of a supposedly "woke" black woman totally judging a guy she's never even met based solely on his skin color and sexual identification...😂

  3. I'm fairly certain within 6 months this little trip to Costa Rica will be a distant memory and Tania will be on to some other flight of earth mother witchy woman fancy.  Hopefully Syngin is no longer part of her story.

It is! However, I seem to remember, from past seasons' discussions, all prenups made in k1 situations are null and void. So maybe this was just the typical shenanigans. But in regular marriage situations, a good work around is to put some of the assets in a trust and don't touch any of the proceeds.

And do we know for sure the bulk of his money didn't come from Sarah or his parents or some other source besides a business he is currently operating?

I didn't participate in any of that. So IDK why you're mentioning it now.

It's all part of the context of the conversation.  It's part of her reasoning too.  You say he's free to walk away from the relationship if he is unwilling to convert.  But, she is going forward now knowing his beliefs and knowing that he isn't interested in becoming what she wants him to be.  She is choosing to accept him as he is.  If that changes then it's on her right?  She knows the score now.

But that's not the position he's taking. He said said repeatedly, he has no interest in her converting.

yeah, I know.  He's reasonable.  She had him come to the Ukraine knowing what his beliefs were obviously feeling she'd be able to convert him.

I havent seen the latest, but Mike seems so accommodating that I honestly think he'd have no problem having their future children raised in the Christian faith.

He isn't trying to drag her to an alien temple or area 54 or get her to pray with him to some aliens.  I truly get the impression that he was drunk at dinner when he admitted his beliefs to Natalie's friend.

I think be believes what he believes, but it's not a lifestyle he has to live.

I do not understand her need to convert him.  He is willing to go to church with her to make her happy.  There are plenty of people who are christians who make it to church less than twice a year.

This seems like something that could be an issue, but shouldn't be. He seems so accommodating and so it's weird that she is making this a problem.    IMO, her behavior is way more of a red flag

Oh absolutely!  He won't be the problem.  It will always be her trying to convert him...or passive-aggressively making him feel like a bad guy for not believing in her magic cloud man.

I called Greenwich!Michael "Wino!Michael" last week but clearly that should be Sequim Mike's new nickname. Props, my dude, to bailing from your future mother-in-law's apartment at some point between breakfast and lunch and chugging down four beers like you're trying to win first place in the Day Drinking like Darcey Decathlon while doing your best hobo impression, wearing plaid pajama pants (and maybe slippers?) and sitting around a 40 gallon drum. Dude was half-cut in his outdoor talking heads.

You thought the aliens were bad? Look upon thine future, Natalie, and cringe in Ukrainian Russian.

Natalie isn't the one who needs to worry about their future together...Mike needs to head for home pronto and forget her.

...and he's a pretty big dude.  I'm pretty sure he can handle 3 or 4 beers.  He wasn't driving anywhere at least.

I actually enjoyed Tim on this, but moreso Veronica.

Related:  I completely forgot that Dorothy slapped the Cowardly Lion. Tim's clearly a dedicated student of Wizard of Oz combat.

actually, Tim got a little better the last half of the ep.  He had a few pretty funny comments.  But he really is an odd dude...

that was Tim's ex Veronica.  You remember, the one who gave him the ring to give to Jenniffer.  lol

  9. I agree with the notion that Mike and Natalie will never get on in light of the religious beliefs.  I think it would be fine if neither of them was strongly religious, but since she actually pretends to be "deeply religious" (I mean lets face it...she's willing to fore-go the piety in order to get preggers with a dude she isn't married to and who isn't even a christian) it just isn't going to work.  She'll never stop trying to convert him and if they do have kids there will be constant conflicts over the issue.   I know I'd have a really tough time living with someone who considered themselves deeply religious.  It makes me uncomfortable...
