Lisa is annoying.  She says dumb things with a totally irrational voice of conviction.  Like in the car when she kept saying "he's legit" in response to the concerns her friends raised about Usman as though she's put him through some sort of high-intensity corporate vetting process and he came through with flying colors.  She doesn't know anything about him except that he writes shitty rap songs, lol...

What all these dopes have in common is that they've managed to convince themselves that all the red flags and obvious scamming can be ignored because you have to "follow your heart" and "hope for love" and all that.  The romantic notion that finding "true love" is worth all the insanity is how they excuse themselves from reality.  There was a nice moment in last night's ep when Avery was telling her parents about her relationship with Ash and she was confronted by hard reality - they had all sorts of very sane, rational perspective on how nuts her plan is and all she could do was stare at them and say "Yeah but it's about true love" and "I just think it will all work out."

Yeah, Lisa is utterly repulsive.  She's also an idiot.  The way she keeps referring to the fact that Uzben "wrote her a song" with that weird cocky smirk on her face as though there's some deep significance to lyrics like "you will be my baby lisa" is laughable.  And her scheme of entrapping him with the raw dog is of course delusional - not to mention icky.  He's always used condoms!?  hahahahaha!!  Her "I threw up a little in my mouth" quotient is sky-high!  

 

The manufactured situations in this show are hilariously weird.  Ed having a long, meaningful conversation about his situation, with the UPS guy!  lol.  And all the really gross, embarrassing discussions with friends and family about deeply personal sexual stuff!  It's been a long long time since I had a buddy over and proudly displayed a sexy bit of lingerie I'd bought for my lady.   In fact, I've NEVER done that!  And if I was a woman, and stupid enough to go over to nigeria with the clear intention of letting some "rap star" put his un-baggied appendage in me I certainly wouldn't be telling my girl-friends about it as though I was some sort of evil genius!

Yolanda is dangerously close to "too stupid for sympathy" territory.  She seems like a nice lady, but the relationship should not have progressed beyond "I have  broken camera so you can't see me."  Also, I'm kinda hoping we do get to see an honest to gawd catfish scenario.

I don't like the way the phrase "social media" is used all the time.  There's something annoying about it.  "He gets lot's of attention from females on his social media."  "we met on social media."  Just say "we met on the internet."  Don't really know why it bugs me...just sounds dopey.

It's possible Mike wasn't yet aware just how jealous and nutty Nat is and he never even considered his crashing on the couch at his female friend's place would be a problem.  It was a year ago after all.  Hell, he might have been asleep on the couch before he even became aware the groom wasn't coming home that night.  I've seen nothing from Mike that leads me to believe he's a lying scoundrel.  I've seen LOTS from Natalie that leads me to believe she's a nutjob.  If she is going to value the importance of her religion over her relationship to Mike, then she damn well better be living according to the letter of the law of her religion.  If it's that important, she can't just pick and choose bits and pieces she's going to follow and leave out the stuff that she wants to ignore.  I mean if I was Mike, the message I'd get from the fact she's willing to sleep with me and have babies with me out of wedlock is the religion ain't all that big a deal to her.   She's all concerned about presenting a unified faith front to her children so they aren't confused and all that...so what happens when little timmy does the math in a decade and realizes he was conceived 3 months before mommy and daddy were actually married?  AND it's all documented on a stupid TV reality show!    The fact is, Mike is the one who is behaving more like the devout christian here...at least he's mature enough to hold off on the baby-making till things are settled.

If the worst thing Mike did was go for a few beers in his pajamas (and let's face it, lots of people go out in those pj pants nowadays, I see it all the time) while he let things cool down with Natalie I'm OK with him.  It's not like he stumbled home drunk.  Sure his alien thing is a little goofy, but at no point have we seen him trying to make her follow his beliefs and the only time it gets brought up is when somebody asks him what his beliefs are in response to her forcing the issue.  He's not heading out every sunday to a service worshipping the aliens.  It's easy to scoff at his notions, but there's no govt organizations spending millions on finding evidence of god.  The irony of religious people laughing about the "goofiness" of belief in aliens is pretty outrageous.  "Pfffft!  Aliens???  lol you're crazy!  Now excuse me while I go sing songs of praise to a magic cloud man who impregnated a virgin with his son who was later murdered and then came back to life.  Oh and the earth is about 5000 years old btw."  Lol...

Basically, that was a lot of build-up for nothing - as expected.  No big reveal...no big break of trust.  Natalie is a nut and Mike would be smart to not continue on with the relationship, but of course he will.

I really don't need to see a little pantomime act by a couple clever kids.  Awwwww, look at those little gems! as soon as I saw there was a space on the couch for two precocious tots I hit the fast forward button.  Skipped the entire bit - I can't stand Max and Cece.  Sorry.  not sorry.  lol.  

It was really quite shocking to see Robert actually laugh outright early on in the show.  I thought his face was a numb mask of dough. 

The sex talk was extremely icky.  I wish someone would tell Angela to shut her trap.  I also wish someone from the crew would have picked up that cig butt she flicked onto the sidewalk and placed it delicately back in her bag.  She truly is trashy - and not in some like-able, empowered way.  She's just the epitome of white trash.  She's a walking cliche. 

 

It's always a kick watching these people who are in these stupid relationships giving each other advice as though they have it all figured out.  Robert monologuing about soul mates!  lol...

 

I'm pretty sure whatever is revealed about Mike and Natalie tonight won't be anywhere close to what it's being made out to be in the previews.  All the reactions we're seeing probably are taken from various completely unrelated discussions.  The show's modus-operandi is pretty firmly-established at this point.  ho hum.

Perhaps Natalie is going to roll with the idea that Mike hid his financial sitch from her and therefore she can't trust him.  I'm pretty sure whatever it is it's bullshit.  She didn't indicate there was any "secret indiscretion" of any sort when she was being all weird in the taxi on the way to the airport.  

The tell all looks like a good time.  Although I really don't think I need to see another Angela shitstorm.  Her act is old...

Emily in the car - "SAAAAAAAA-shaaaaaa!  SAAAAAAA-shaaaaa!!"  OMG...I'm not a Sasha fan (although I think a lot of his rudeness is just cultural differences and language misunderstandings) but I don't think I could handle Emily's nasal whining for very long.

 

Jasmin is relentlessly lifeless.  The way she expresses her points as though the simple fact that she wants to do something or that she has made a decision is all that matters.  Once that is the case, there's no explanation needed...no apology or consideration required.  It's just "yes.  I'm doing that."  "Yes, this is what I want."  

 

Sarah is awful.  I love the promo for next week - "so there was some talk about a pre nup?"  Yeah...there was...when you brought it up!  Remember?!  How you brought up the pre-nup out of the blue when it hadn't been mentioned at all?  Remember that?  lol.  And the touching on the shoulders!  God what a butinsky!  GTFOOH! And I still don't really like the precocious tots.

 

I really enjoyed Tania's crew totally taking Syn's side.  lol.  They all had wonderful "jesus you're an idiot" faces on when she told them the soul mates story...

 

WTF does Anna need to take her kids to some neutral site to tell them her important news??  Don't they live with her?  You can't sit around the kitchen table at home and have a talk?  It's like some sort of weird business meeting or something.
