  1. I finally watched Manson:The Women last night. It was interesting to see the old news clips and the juxtaposition of the girls young/old. I lived fairly locally and followed the story from beginning to end (even the parole attempts, the deaths of Sadie and Charlie). I truly think Sandy and Squeaky should be under some kind of supervision,; even at their age, they are ripe for the plucking by some despicable con-man. I believe one or both of them would kill if asked. I'm glad this story was presented with the crime scene photos; the truth of this atrocity should be told to all upcoming generations as a word of caution.
  2. Sandra Good has always been a terrifying person. I am not entirely sure she isn't responsible for a couple of murders. I haven't seen this show yet; recording it tonight.
  3. I saw a couple documentaries about this man; he definitely needed killin'.
  4. Yep, mine are very similar to those. I think the clothing manufacturers don't put pockets in women's clothes because that would "ruin the line" (make unsightly bulges).
  5. Pockets. @friendperidot I wear MEN'S pajama pants; they have pockets. They also have a flap in the front that you can tack down with a stitch or two. I have 6 pairs, black in different fabrics depending on which season it is.
  6. I'm very happy with our top-loader. This issue with odor and leaving the door open leaves me cold. I would be worried about critters and kidlets going in there.
  7. Orville Redenbacher is still in commercials, so is Liz Taylor.
  8. I agree, very annoying ad. And I really don't need another dead dog movie.
  9. We had Morning Glories in our garden and had to keep them cut back to the ground. They are creeping vines and will strangle and kill all other plants nearby. Pretty, though.
  10. Whatever happened to JJ's "A workman is worth his hire" code? He actually DID do some work!
  11. Our local Goodwill will gladly pick up donations like couches and cars. They can do wonderful things with very little.
  12. Okay, this Web Of Lies ad is every single commercial break! Sunflower82 indeed! Just run the damn EPISODE already, okay!?
  13. I haven't bought their jeans since they stopped making them here, 2004, I think.
  14. I read earlier today that polar bears may be in their future.
  15. We get commercials for Jif and Skippy. I guess living in a small, rural-ish town is not PC.
  16. I thought my sainted brother was the only one who did that! LOL!
  17. The latest SPCA ad makes me very sad and angry. They are showing far more badly injured animals, and we already give to them. That is a horror that will surely turn off some people who might want to donate.
  18. I know that if I were being raped and sodomized by a man twice my size on a daily basis, eventually I would stop being nice about it.
  19. That hotel room looked pretty spiffy to me!
  20. Back to Mother of the Year; my hubby noticed the two older children (1 and 2?) both had their tongues pierced! Anyone else catch that? The other show 'Til Death Us Do Part' where the husband had multiple cameras on the outside of the house 24/7, and one camera inside the house. All the footage was there except for when she left the house, and when her body was found a week later. The audio recordings did indeed SEEM like the wife was the aggressor. I dug a little deeper online, and her husband was let's say highly oversexed, and was demanding sex from her ALL the time. She had gotten so tired of it that she was finally fighting back. And the cause of death (per at least one website) was he sat on her chest and suffocated her (because she said NO) Someone on the show said he would whip her into a frenzy, and THEN record her, while he had calmed himself down to appear innocent.
  21. Oh man! This Lakeisha woman was out of her mind! I was yelling at the TV! I don't see how this woman even keeps breathing. No sense at all! And I think she DID keep custody. I can't even think of bad enough words to describe the loathing I feel for her. And the kicker was: the perp only got 6 months.
  22. Thank you for the link. I found about 5 channels under 6 miles. The rest are 30-70 miles away. We just must have cable. :(
