I think casual viewers will not think too deeply about it and think that they're going towards democracy but that's completely not the case. But whatever. As long as Eagle-eyed Bran is King.

I was never going to watch the prequels in the first place. I most definitely will not be wasting my time. I hate prequels anyway. Why are they necessary when we already know how it ends? I think prequels are lazy. There's already plots and characters in place, so writers don't have to think too hard. This Long Night prequel I think will be initially successful but it'll ultimately fail by the end of the season. The GoT finale will piss off a lot of people.

Your last paragraph is so completely true. I don't care how many times people try to convince me otherwise, how Sansa acted was stupid. She was outright hostile when the North needed her help. Even Arya managed to get that. Yara had things Dany needed in order to negotiate...her ships. The North had nothing on offer except a promise to bend the knee, which Jon gave (and that should have put Northern independence to rest, I don't know why Sansa kept on because on what authority did she have to keep banging on about that?). Flattery will get you everywhere, the Tyrells knew that well. I miss them. This season was such a damn letdown. I've been posting less and less (how is that even possible since I don't post that much) because I just can't wrap my head around this season. The crap with Dany aside, Jon is basically the most expensive extra ever, Bran is probably still staring at the heart tree, we have to follow Arya and some randoms apparently because reason, Cersei is humanized and gets to die embraced by her brother lover...Tyrion is an actual traitor and will be rewarded for it...I can't take it.

No Iron Throne doesn't mean that there's no Seven Kingdoms. The throne is just a symbol. From what the leaks said, still Seven Kingdoms but a representative council.

She's not going to be a Queen, but Lady of WF/Warden. I think people should stop conflating the two. Bran is apparently King with a council and the kingdoms are separate. Except maybe the Iron Islands but they won't get mentioned again and no one wants them around anyway.

I believe Friki's source is one who works with translations so he didn't have like a full script. The person doing the translation wouldn't have known about the Bran/Jaime scene because there was no dialogue to translate. So that part isn't Friki's fault.

Dany has listened to her advisors and that’s the problem. She would already be sitting her ass on the throne if she went with her gut or listened to Yara and Olenna. But she listened to men and has paid the price.

When shooting began and when some interviews of Kit popped up, I mentioned that he seemed to over it. Now we all know why. His whole storyline has added up to nothing and he ends with nothing. He’ll still be alone.

I feel bad for Emilia/Dany fans if true. She has a contest where some will watch the last ep with her. So she’s going to make them watch Jon kill Dany? That’s horrible. I can’t wait until the end so I can forget this show ever existed. I thought the feeling I had with Battlestar was painful. This is even worse.

This show has distracted me from the shitshow that my life has been for the past few years so I’m emotionally invested. The thought that two characters I love may get shitty endings (and Jon killing Dany would be shitty as well for him) makes me a little weepy. I’ll still be hoping but after this ep, I just don’t know anything anymore.

So there was no point to Jon’s storyline at all was there? I’m shaking with rage tbh. Im sad for Dany because Jorah and also Theon. I can’t even be happy about Arya because that seemed to come out of nowhere.
