That's what I thought, too, but I recently watched a special on American twins that have one body and two heads. There was a doctor who talked about separation. He didn't say it was impossible, only that it would result in a level of disability (losing one arm and one leg) and loss of opportunities that would probably be worse than living the way they had been living all their life. Of course, in the early 50s, it probably would be much more likely to result in death.

I'm fairly certain it was said during the UNIT meeting on the plane that while all cemeteries were active, not every dead body was. In other words it was happening all over the world, but only a certain percentage of the dead was coming back. Not everyone.

I love how they had to have the hairdresser tell us it looked good on Mary. Otherwise we would have all come to the conclusion that it didn't, and would be wondering whether everyone who tells her it looks great is just being polite. Yay for "tell don't show" storytelling!

I did like how Clarkson was sympathetic to the "inverted" Thomas. Ahead of his time. Speaking of Clarkson, I've been rewatching I, Claudius, and hey! David Robb played Claudius' brother Germanicus. Very young and very pretty. Woof! And another Claudius alum was in this episode too. Atticus' daddy was James Faulkner, who played Herod back then. Another bit of pretty.

Regardless, once you've got them disarmed and on their knees, going that extra step to hack or beat them to death is a line not everyone can cross, not until their own personal circumstances and experiences dictate.

The Termites were unarmed when they were killed. And on their knees. Whether or not that is a line that should eventually be crossed in this kind of world, it is a line, and it was crossed. I think that probably accounts for the horrified reactions. This is the first time these folks were on the same side as people who would kill unarmed human beings, and it gave them pause. Especially Tyreese, who couldn't cross that line with Martin. I expect we'll see how they deal with it. If Morgan is months behind Rick's group then it's probably not him with Daryl. I certainly hope it's Carol. I'm hoping that his hesitation is based on learning what happened with Lizzie and not being sure if Tyreese has told the rest of the group, and he and Carol wondering what her reception will be like. Or maybe Beth got bit on the way back and Carol was the one to put her down and now she is reluctant to face Maggie, and Daryl is feeling her pain. Whatever happens next week, if we have to lose Carol in order to get Beth back, Imma riot, y'all.

Carol better not be gone, y'all.

Am I wrong, or has nuWho been much more earthbound than classic Who ever was, including the Third Doctor's stint with UNIT?

Pleaseohpleaseohplease don't make this a test run for the next Doctor. I have no problem with a female doctor, just, please not Clara. If the Doctor has to "pick a [female] face" on his next regen, I would prefer someone like River, or Donna, or even Amy.

This is indicative of the main reason I may stop watching this show despite how much I love it. I get the feeling from some of the things Kirkman says (like we may never find out how all this started because that doesn't really interest him) that there is no real endgame for this story. It's just going to be "wash, rinse, repeat" storylines with ever-changing groups of characters going through the same types of experiences. And that he's just going to do this, here and in the comics, for as long as he can get away with it. And it's too bad because the best TV is TV that is telling a specific core story over a finite period of time. Anything else is bound to decline in quality after a while.

Maybe because the serial killers are usually the most well-adjusted people in these stories. Not me. I can't explain why but McDermott is an automatic show-killer for me. He just grates on me for no real reason I can say. All I could think was "Who follows a blood trail around a corner like that?" I think most people would look up right away, rather than keeping their head down and eyes glued to the ground all the way along. Once you know the direction you're going, you're gonna look up. I know it's a trope but I thought it was stupid and it took me right out of the moment.

Are we sure about that? I thought the last time we saw it was when Rick put it on the nightstand before lying down back in that house. I don't think he grabbed it before jumping under the bed. Pretty sure he left without it. It's probably still there. Didn't Tara say she thought that Rosita was in love with him and would follow him anywhere? Yeah, I can't wait to see Rick's reaction to Eugene's stonewalling. This talk about genetic cures makes me wonder if Judith might end up serving a larger plot point. Any chance that people born after the outbreak are clean, or at least immune? If she were scratched or bitten but didn't turn, her survival is even more highly prioritized. And even if they decided to kill her off because it's just too hard dragging a baby around in this new world, if she didn't come back, it tells them the same thing. Gives hope. We might see a little more shagging then. ;)

Exactly. He's acting like a hard-core nerd in a virtual reality game would. I haven't read the comics either but I guarantee you this guy is no scientist, let alone a scientist with top secret government clearance. He puts the "ass" in "classified". When the truth finally comes out, Abe is going to have his guts for breakfast.

I also did that to my ankle. It happened in much the same way (running on uneven pavement) and looked much like that afterwards. Once the shock wore off I thought it might be broken. So yeah I don't think they would have lasted much longer anyway.

Because that would be a paradox. She can't come back before she leaves, or then there would be two of her in the same place and time. I think you mean parent and son. She's been treating him like she's his exasperated nanny. I'm frankly getting tired of it. As others have said, this is not the Doctor/Companion relationship at its best.

Yeah the AIDS comment was bizarre. And I thought it was Rex who was bleeped not one of the twins. Well, at least he was consistent and not pretending he loved everyone when we all know he didn't.
