I didn’t mean literally physically walk into Nicole’s apt and take her. More as bargaining or reasoning with her and if that didn’t work, try legal measures. If she can’t or won’t pay her utilities, that’s a no-no in the eyes of the law & DHS.

And IF it was real, I for sure wouldn’t be getting a brand new sofa for skanky Nicole to sleep on for 2+ weeks. She’d get the old crappy one and after she left, then I’d get a new one. But yeah, I want my sofas to be comfy AF bc I do spend lots of time napping on them.

And that would be my cue to step in and get Mae. Maybe not legally, but I’d tell that nasty POS “if you’re going to send money to your boyfriend instead of paying your utilities and providing basic things for your child, then she can come live with us until you get on your feet.” Grandchild or not, i wouldn’t allow her to use and abuse my generosity by holding the kid over my head. That might would even work in court. I’d at least try.

She wouldn’t listen to her pastor. She hasn’t listened to anyone else. She’s going to have to learn the hard way, but she won’t really learn anything, and sadly, her family will have to help her get her life back on track. When the next guy comes along, it’ll be lather, rinse, repeat.

But that’s not going to stop her from bulldozing her sorry ass to the other side of the world to get her way. I don’t feel sorry for her at all. Whatever misery she gets from any of this serves her right. She’s inflicted plenty of it on her family without any regards to their feelings.

It takes a special someone to be an ugly bride. I can’t recall ever seeing a bride not look beautiful but Nicole is a first. Of course I know she went in with greasy hair and red faced (reminiscent of Beth, Danielle’s BFF on precious seasons) so she wasn’t made up but you can just tell no amount of product would cover the ugly. I’m not being superficial, she’s so ugly on the inside it comes out her pores.

At this point, I’m 100% on Azans side, by default. Whatever he can scam out of Nicole is fine with me. She needs brought down so many pegs and her family sure as hell isnt going to make it happen so he can be the one.

The family omerta - per baby Huey, no one is to speak of her business. Alright then fat ass, buy your own wedding dress since you have that kind of money to be throwing away.

ANd this had nothing to do with Mae, she’s already said she’s taking her and they can’t do squat about it. Robbalee gave into her because that’s what she does and always has. I was giving her the benefit of the doubt that a lot of her motivation was mostly due to her granddaughter but this proves that Nicole is the way she is because of her parents. Although I did notice she wasn’t quite as smart assy and smug to her stepfather.

I guess he is just supposed to stay single forever. He’s broke AF so it’s not like she’s worried about Annie getting her hands on his fortune. Annie didn’t make him leave his family for 4 years, it seems like he met her way after. So that is all on him, and the hatred for Annie is entirely misplaced. Also, I noticed, like other posters did, that Ashley’s kids seemed to be very familiar with and acted like they really like Annie. So who knows how much of this is really real? (Well probably hardly any of it but that’s an obvious sign right there)

Probably not. But she needs to figure it out for herself, without her family all up in her business and practically forcing her to see him the way they do. That’s parenting 101. And I can’t help but feel sorry for Pedro being stuck on vacation with them grilling him nonstop. What a shitty way to spend a vacay. He may be up to no good, but he might not be.

When she investigates Pedro & his fam, if she finds out something shady is goIng on...then what? Gets to brag that she was right all along? Because Chatel is already married and seems to want to stay married to Pedro. There’s nothing they can do at this point.

I love how Pedro attempts to be polite to ParentsChatel, diplomatically trying to have a conversation but will not put up with River’s prissy ass for one minute.

I’m pretty sure they do. And I agree, I can see him going back to visit or some family obligations without her.

Doubtful, unless they have to go back for a funeral or something. She’s too good to live there again.

Nothing really to add to this mess other than rewatching last weeks episode again and I want to shoot my tv. Nicole laying it all out to her dad & stepmom, with her ugly smug smirk, knowing she wields all the power (Mae) makes me ragey. She knows they can’t say or do shit to stop her. Except actually they can, they can cut off any & all support they’ve been giving her except directly to or for Mae. But she knows they won’t consider doing that. So she sits there like she’s schooling them on the positives of why Mae moving to the other side of the world and being in the care of strangers is such a wonderful thing. It’s one thing for her parents to put up with her b.s. but as a step-parent myself, I would find it nearly impossible to sit there so calmly. Esp if part of my income went to support her sorry ass.

I’m probably not the one to be objective about this. My experience (with my husband and his son & ex wife) is that everyone (dhs, courts) wants the child/children with the mom at any & all costs. My husband’s ex wife reminds me a lot of Nicole - uses the child as a means to an end, lazy, selfish, self-centered, house is disgusting and full of animals, and honestly, I think she has a personality disorder. She’s just nasty and evil BUT in the eyes of the law, she’s not “abusive”. She’s way worse personality-wise than Nicole but a lot of other similarities are there. My husband tried to get custody and it was looking very favorable (and DHS was involved) but it didn’t happen. He lives with the guilt of what he could or should’ve done different, but we did everything according to the letter of the law and fought for him and the child stayed with the mom. I know of other people who have tried to get their child out of the moms custody and no luck for them either.

I’m just going by how things are done in my state. DHS will bend over backwards to keep a child with the parents and reunite them if they are removed. You pretty much know around here not to bother unless it’s outright abuse. It’s as if being with the parents solely trumps anything else. It’s pretty sad.

Doesn’t sound melodramatic at all, sounds like a legit concern. Strangers on the internet are more concerned for this child than her own mother - because we aren’t blinded by our crotch. Nicole is too stupid to see she’s being used and if she saw it, I don’t think she’d care. Any pedophile watching could easily see how to manipulate Nicole and groom her and Mae accordingly, and her family. They are better at their sick game than she would have a prayer at.

DadNicole seems almost intimidated by her and MomNicole seems like she has almost no patience (neither would I), neither of them take a hard stand with her. Nicole runs the show. There’s a roof over her head with running water & electricity, not much else is required. I stated elsewhere yesterday, that Nicole is a selfish, immature child herself but that doesn’t mean she’s abusive. Unfortunately she’s not breaking any laws by pining after, acting a fool over, and sending money to a man that doesn’t want any part of her instead of focusing on her child. We all know Mae deserves better but in the eyes of the law, Mae isn’t in any danger at this point. It’s sad that some people are allowed to breed.

I know that. We all speculate here and throw out various opinions, as I’m sure you know. It was just one theory on how Nicole manages to stay employed but able to take off to travel as much as she does.
