Oh great, Luke is doing his bad acting on Unfiltered again.

Luke is an abusive piece of garbage. Kate looks like she is afraid of him.

So Luke got Kate drunk on the honeymoon and then had sex with her when she could not truly consent. Hmm

I'm so tired of hearing about how AJ doesn't want to eat alone again.

Considering all the lying that Luke has done, Kate should not feel bad about talking to Dr. Pepper. And Dr. Pepper is a jerk for telling Kate that she needed to apologize to Luke.

It is not really about them as a couple. I don't think they were meant to be together but neither one comes across as capable of a good relationship with anyone unless they change.

Both Jasmine and Will failed and I doubt either one would ever admit to where they as a person went wrong. Neither one is a good communicator and neither one is very realistic about romantic partnerships.

I get why AJ was angry but the way his anger manifests itself is just unacceptable. He should have channeled it into constructive commentary, which the show might never have aired, but it would have been a more mature way of doing things. I'm the first to say that I think the show manipulated a lot of footage when it came to AJ, the packing scene being a prime example of that, but some of it is on him especially the mini moon freakout. His behavior during the mini moon seemed unhinged.

A.J. needs to grow up and seek anger management treatment and if he does have TBI, then he needs to seek out someone who specializes in those types of clients. Even if scenes were filmed out of order, which is possible, there is no excuse for how he decided to react to the situation of the group mini moon. No one was happy that it was a group thing but he made everyone even more uncomfortable and miserable including Stephanie, who he is supposed to be impressing enough that she would want to stay married to him.

I never said he was innocent. But he did fall into a trap, you don't have to be innocent to fall into a trap. They were hoping someone would lose their hit and he did. Had he been smart, he would have prepared for the situation that he knew he would dislike and would have just dealt with it and played some cards. Instead he went into it with a bad attitude and a desire to piss the others off too. I don't think anyone was happy about the group mini moon but they handled better because losing their shit was not going to do them any favors.

AJ is foolish for walking right into the trap that production set out for him. The point of the group mini moons was that they wanted someone to lose their cool at the stupidity of the situation. And AJ obliged them with his terrible behavior.

If Will is serious about wanting to coach basketball, he needs to improve his communication skills. Parents of kid athletes can be crazy these days and if a parent feels that a coach is being overly critical and harsh towards their kid, at minimum they are going to try and get the coach fired.

Luke is a terrible liar. He claims he tried to resolve his problem with Kate drinking but that is a lie. You can't resolve something with someone if they are not involving them and talking behind their back. That is not remotely how someone would handle a situation if they were concerned that someone was drinking too much. But he was never actually concerned about Kate, he was looking to derail the conversation away from his own behavior.

I think if it is true that Dr. Jessica is not coming back for the next season it was not her choice and her contract with the show was either terminated or not renewed.

I barely watched season 7. I primarily kept up with it through recaps and Unfiltered. I probably wouldn't have watched this season either but I'm actually interested in what happens with Kristine/Keith and Stephanie/AJ. I don't need the relationships to be super healthy but they also shouldn't be abusive like what we are seeing with Kate and Luke. It seemed obvious from the beginning the Sheila and Nate in season 5 were not going to work out in the long term but it kept me watching. If AJ flipped out at Stephanie after filming was over, the show would not care.

I disagree. Will has been wishy washy in his intentions. He also tends to have revisionist history about conversations they have had in the past. We saw that in the last episode. he was claiming that he said she was a good kisser, which is partially true, he did say that but he also buried it under criticisms. His communications style is terrible. Instead of saying what he means, he buries compliments to the point that they are meaningless and don't come across as genuine. It also doesn't seem that he has been forthright with Jasmine off camera either. Otherwise the attempt at seduction would probably not have happened.

Season 7 was virtually unwatchable IMO and Luke has made Season 8 practically the same way, so I'm not sure I would describe their casting decisions as wildly successful.

I read somewhere, Reddit maybe, that Dr. Jessica is not included in the upcoming Charlotte season. Might explain all of Jon's petty tweets and comments lately.

In theory she should have been able to tap into that though. According to her LinkedIn she has a Master's. But I also think that Will decided how he felt on the honeymoon and nothing she could have done would have taken things out of the friendzone.

Sonia and Anthony are telling it like it is. I wonder if Sonia will reach out to Kate after the season ends. Her situation with Nick was similar.

I don't think Will is as good at communicating as he thinks he is. He gets defensive and says that he gave Jasmine a compliment but his compliments are backhanded and buried under criticism. Jasmine isn't the only one in that relationship that is harsh towards her spouse, it is just there is more focus on it. As far as Kate and Luke go, I think he is faking the drama after they have sex. That is why he basically had to talk her into it the last several times claiming he wasn't going to do it again only for it to be a lie. Now there could be an underlying issue. Maybe he is into something super kinky that is a turnoff to most people and he doesn't want to bring it up. But I think it is just that he is an asshole.

Maybe but I think the dramatics after sex are an act. Luke is incapable of acting in a genuine way towards anyone and it shows in how he interacts with people.

She didn't speak like that before the honeymoon. He doesn't feel dirty, it is head game. He likes making her feel terrible and then pretending that he doesn't know why she feels that way. Dr. Pepper referenced it on Unfiltered, that he has punish and "reward" system.

It explains a lot though.

I agree, it makes me very uncomfortable when I see a WOC dismissed with these types of statements comparing them to animals. I also think the edit that both Jasmine and Kristine have gotten has a racist slant. Dr. Pepper conveniently only has a safe sex talk with a black couple. Where was this concern with Bobby and Danielle last season? Jasmine is shown as greedy but there has been very little depth to the money conversations. We don't see them taking out monthly budgets and talk about their income, instead things are just inserted at random moments. If the experts or producers were worth anything, we would see them sitting down and truly discussing what she really needs in a relationship and what she was missing in previous relationships. And also get into why she is focused on having a husband who is a provider.
