If they aren’t going to share the results with the public (not that they have to, just being whiny) I wish they would live feed just the announcement part. They have to know we are going to watch the show regardless! I also want to see that part. They don’t have to show the Finals group audience (I really would start bawling the second I heard name 40 be called and people start crying and I totally don’t want to have any joy in that moment)—just face the feed to show the ones who made it to TC as they trot up to the front and mouth the words “thank you” to K&J. Is that too voyeuristic of me? They can’t lump into one episode! I am so nervous for these young women and hope they all know they did their best and it’s either go or no-go. It’s JUST dancing but for many people, dancing is life.

I like VK and DB, and their different styles of dance. I think they have the potential to get the DCC style down. I would be super sad for either one if one makes it and the other doesn’t. Also, much like evil Mommy Twitter and the ones who get picked on by the Alpha psycho moms, don't hashtag certain things you don’t want to be associated with and then picked apart for not being one of the “popular” ones. I would never upload a video of my solo (HA! YOU ALL WISH, BUY ME SOME ROSÉ AND I TOTALLY WILL THO) and hashtag DCC if I wasn’t at Jenna K/Lacey/Robin/Any Holly levels. Because I would die if someone made a single negative comment. They need to chill. Chill out, come here and tell us about their experience. I think Cassie, Victoria, and Dayton are great dancers. Oy vey. The folks on this thread could come up with a better routine than this. I am not going to stomp on their love of dance. Dance your heart out no matter your level or age!! I just....can’t. I can’t with the choreo. Not everyone needs to be LSU or Wildcat levels but....I feel like Napoleon Dynamite put this together. I’d rather have a dancer who has lovely kicks and technique and be a 5 out of 10 than a mediocre kicker who is a 7. I hope she tries out again. Confused as to why they take people like Kathryn Dunn and not people with amazing dance skill but not so Hollywood ready faces. Makeovers make anyone look great. Why not give her a chance?? Ugh. Dcc kills me sometimes. ??‍♀️

We need to work on facials, shoulder/epaulement, omg. Please tell me you have mastered pulling up through our upper body and kicking while turning out and smiling since 2016. To the nose, darling our shins must be TO THE NOSE!!!! Why are we apartment shopping when we should be kickline training omg. No time WE HAVE NO TIME ? ??? ? I’m sorry. I wish her the best but some people need to know that this level of pro cheer/dance requires pro dance cheer experience. Jenna probably learned the counts like two minutes beforehand and was like, “I’ll just Emma this” I adore them both as dancers as well. Hope they are on happier paths.

I can’t speak for the context of all of the videos, but most prep classes or masters classes make rows of dancers rotate so everyone can see the choreographer better or their form in the mirror. In auditions, a dancer would be stupid to not want to be as in front as possible, in a leotard or dance attire that makes you stand out in a positive way. In improv classes I’ve been in, you are taught to get audition judges’ attention right away with good technique and extra polish and don’t be a wallflower. So one of the two cases here might apply. Or a third: some people are all about the LOOK AT ME narcissism show ?. Your pick ?

I think rodeo is violent but it’s entertainment and it has years of history and legacy and roots in America. However, the horses and animals are trained for those events. Many breeds are centered just on that industry. It’s kinda cool but also sad. However, it’s never going away. It’s like asking people to not light fireworks or wear red white and blue on the 4th of July—it’s so ingrained in our culture that many would be offended if it were out. I find it to be gross, and I’m from a rodeo family, I rode competitively until I graduated high school and my daughter did eventing/dressage/cross country. Animals in sports are honord. It might seem gross and it some ways, I see it and agree. Wasn’t try to cut you down or be rude—just sharing my opinion :)

I am on team Fair, for sure, that’s why I added “this coming from a 37 year old” and while I still dance, could not a DCC routine without....soft jiggling. ? Regarding certain dancers—Agree to disagree, I guess! ???‍♀️ Poor Hannah—she was super slender her first year, and the second year, who knows what happened. Probably stress, I imagine. I personally think it’s gross when they pick on others for their weight when other dancers obviously have a weight “issue” (quotations because it isn’t an issue—all of these women are beautiful and I would give up wine forever to look like any of them right now lol) I hope whoever auditions knows that the process is not meant to be kind and to keep their chin up when hit with critiques—especially from people like us. I genuinely enjoy watching dance audition processes of any kind as I have been dancing since I was little, and I’m 37 and dance pointe and contemporary for fun. I am more than familiar with dance and different strokes for different folks—that’s why DCC has so many judges, because even they can’t agree on who is DCC/not DCC. Hope the auditioners enjoy the journey to May and that they do their homework. I hope people like Dayton are auditioning because they want this—not to follow their parents history. At the end of the day, they all love dance and I hope that they do this because they enjoy the experience and dancing. Maybe we can all try a little harder to remember we are critiquing college age women and we should be encouraging of them—not so...dismissive? Oh trust, I’m currently trying to practice what I preach lol.

Victoria is total DCC material! I love her IG videos and she’s got the moves and technique. I love her finishes and her power. She looks like she is having a great time, too! I’m rooting for Dayton, but she needs to give us more power or something. She does dance a bit bland and clunky (her footwork needs cleaning up). I really want them to make it together.

She is the BOMB! I loved when Kitty was like all flustered (I think it was Kitty, anyways?!) with her dancing style. So happy for her success post DCC, too!

Gotta say I’m feeling a bit meangirled right now (which is a bit rich, I know). Oh, am I completely jumping to conclusions and over analyzing, sure? But pictures and videos mean a thousand words and I like to do a little photo assumption. I have a pretty good record on here of being pro-Jenna, but like everyone else here, including the certain DCC employees and staff that come on here to observe current sentiments, I, too can haz an opinion. I think it’s funny, and was being snarky. Snarky. I would just think that anyone that familiar to being in front of the camera would be more aware of any overanalysis on their actions especially at that time. Again, just me and jumping to conclusions and seeing things that possibly are or aren’t there lol, theorizing and everything we all do on a regular basis. I saw the video on IG from the DCC account. I just gotta say.....Jenna looks like she’s about to pull a “Miss Congeniality” film move and steal the “crown.” Have more chill, damn. ? It’s not you and it won’t be you, Kanye shrug. She looks forced happy. I feel bad for her—And I actually like Jenna’s dance style! But crap happened this year and the thirst is very real. Back up, Jenna lolololol Congrats to Kashexy, she looks adorable and humble in the IG video.

What happens when someone gets a case of the summer flu/autumn flu which is always the meanest version of getting sick? Do the dancers still have to go to practice? Not your basic can-be-tamed-with-DayQuil-GoodVibes-sleep, I’m talking MAN COLD sick. ? I know if I was sick as a dog, I couldn’t handle even the highest of my dreams. Then again, I’m 5’6, 175, busted knee, and no one is looking for this in training camp. Any training camp, actually LMFAO but for real, what happens when a DCC, in TC or reg season, gets sick? Same as injured? Just curious. ??‍♀️??‍♀️

I think Jenna had to rein in her ego big time, and that has to hurt. She comes from a huge dance legacy and she’s very good at what she does anyways. She knows this, and I think that confidence comes across as entitled. This is just my interpretation and trying to read between the editing. I liked her a lot until this season—and she seemed very immature about the whole thing, but again, I get that it was probably not shown to us in full AND I get she was hurt from her own actions. Despite her slightly annoying me this past season, she is the best one there. She is. Hands down. She is extra in all the right ways and she’s pleasant to watch. I’m a fan of her dance and I do hope she grows from all of this. I’m sure if she didn’t, she’d already be out. I would be sad if she didn’t do another year, but sometimes the workplace can become toxic and you can only take so much—especially after you realize most of it was your doing. Omg EXACTLY thank you! I wish I had Lauren’s figure on her bad days! All of these dancers look great. As someone who struggled with dancer girth back in day, I feel horrible for the Tashas, Selinas, Stephanies. I don’t even know how the ones who have full time jobs or school can manage working out AND DCC life. Props to them. Now, please let them take beautiful photos, not LOOK AT DIS BOOTAY.

Also, keep in mind CMT and DCC allowed this snippet to be shown thus allowing us to analyze all we want. I watch this show because I enjoy the dancing but also I like the drama when it shows up. That makes it more real to me. It can’t always be 1 2 3 DCC woooo. DCC comes across to me as a sorority that 80% of the women have a great time in and the other 20% don’t. Just my perception. I feel bad for the ones who are giving it their all but you can tell they a) are in over their head in dance style, b) are not really into the pack mentality (not sure if this is a good or bad thing). To me, Kelly and Judy have always come across as wanting the best for the team and expect performers to represent that If they (CMT, DCC) show the DRAMA that occurs behind the scenes, the audience will discuss it. Don’t get mad if the story grows a life of its own—you all are the ones who let us see Jenna and Holly at pretty low points on the show. Then you all give the perception that there is coverup of other things (Erica) and the story again grows a life of its own because people assume and pull bits of info or rumors because it’s interesting to some when an America’s Sweethearts fails. They should have reported the stories like when Kelly briefly said Holly resigned, that’s a wrap. But to show it and expect us to not jump to conclusions re: Holly, Jenna, Erica, prime positions, etc. is silly and amateur hour. Jenn K was not my ideal point and her facials annoyed me too (very open mouth). This is why I can’t get on the Meghan C. love wagon- her facials looked fake (someone has her facial as their avatar here and it’s HILARIOUS) I felt like it should have been MELISSA W FOREVER, or Lacey. The point now should be Kelsey, Maggie Robin or Kashara. They are all fabulous.
