LOL - Sundays can be rough....from childhood - homework through jobs not loved. I can't even imagine MM's return when one twitter she has posted since 8/25 has not been about her father. And prior to that she tweeted about all kinds of things - political and what she was doing and who she was seeing, or her husband. Seems to me to be too soon to return.

Good grief. One of my nieces came into our family at 4 years old. She is 50 now. I cannot imagine her not being of our family. She has our values, traditions and memories. I think it was inexcusable of Kate to say that. I would be offended as well.

I think I will give it another week or two. However, Magnum is not as charming. Rick is not cute enough. TC is fine. But Higgins is a woman! Just no - in the original it was the 4 men and their camaraderie. Not one of those will Higgins and Magnum fall in love. And I miss Higgins telling stories, drinking whiskey, Magnum with a beer and his place - friends dropping by, beach scenes, less car chases, except for Magnum ruining the ferrari over and over. All the deals he and Higgins made (the one this epi was stupid). And gotta say it - the shorts. And women falling all over Magnum. And his not being too interested at this point. because of loosing his wife which we didn't know about for several years, iirc. Oh - an hanging out at Ricks bantering and Higgins complaining Magnum is not a member.

On Abby's twitter she posted of a photo in front of Trump Tower showing people signing larger posters of "Why I Didn't Report" and she comments - "this sums up the year 2018." What does she mean? I find her so vague and usually on the fence about issues when she is not telling us what good things Trump is doing.

I'm thinking the traffic here is less is not just because of MM on her extreme bereavement leave. Some, of course, but personally I am dreading her sympathy tour when she returns. The fragile tough and strong woman is not ready to return, imo. Her twitter has been nothing but about her father for the fast 5 weeks. I think it is also because Sarah is no longer there to perk things up.....and Abby is boring. Actually annoying. And no Ana anymore.

Unfortunately Illena was aware of how long she would be on in that segment and should have shortened her description. I don't think of the panel as vultures at all. But I do agree that perhaps 2 segments should have been slotted for her.

What? No shorts and eating hot dogs? Not much humor? No beach scenes? And Higgins a woman? Afghanistan? Couldn't they have been part of the team that got OBL?

I hope Megan is not back next week. The strong and tough woman is too fragile right now.

Yep - like an old Doris Day comedy. OT - My BFF's husband kept putting off decorating a christmas tree that was already set up. So she decorated it in lingerie, lol. ETA - Sunny is a genuine romantic.

I've tuned in during commercials during another show and all I see is 2 people trying to be perky and funny and fluffy. Not interested in watching any of it. She made a huge mistake, imo.

I always thought/hoped Ana and Tara could "job share" and both keep their other jobs as well......and Ana could stay in Miami for most of the week.

Abby is driving me crazy. She says it was political yet no explanation why. So dense she cannot understand Feinstein received her letter in July. And honored Ford's request yet referred it to the FBI. Over and over and over again. She is like a statue sitting there. And monopolizes the time by not listening....just babbling the latest GOP headline. Abby really needs to prepare for the show. I don't recall her ever referring to blue cards or siting sources for "her view." I am also thinking Meghan is not well. She is not tweeting - very silent on life. IMO she is not as strong or tough as her eulogy said about what she learned from her father. And as she said while on the show. I hope she gets help.

I missed the interview with the PP President but watched it on Youtube. I am so disappointed in Sunny. She may have quibbled over the amount of abortions preformed but never tried to make a point federal funds paid for them. Abortions are legal, for the moment. And she has changed her point that that law is settled law, for the moment. No longer for separation of church and government I guess. sigh

In the past any co-host not there on the live show was not featured in the intro. Hence, MM being treated "special."

Abby can only spout R talking points....and I mean headlines. She cannot defend them or even attempt to justify them.

Actually Stormy should have replied to ramrod Abby that she probably felt the same was as Melania felt about dating Trump when he was married to Marla and they had Tiffany. Abby has no sense of humor. She sits ramrod straight and looks down her nose at guests she doesn't like. Not a fun bone in her body.

I love The View - but not feeling it this season. Abby is too boring and I dread MM coming back. And miss Sarah.

I'm not warming towards Abby. It was immediately my Dad, I come from a military family........then she spouts the party lines but can't explain why she does, just her simplistic comment. I cannot understand why Harris and Booker cannot question Kavanaugh because "they are running for POTUS." Can't these young women understand that even dems come from military families as well? I think it will be awful for Abby and Meghan's friendship when Abby doesn't really stand behind MM when she throws a hissy fit. I watched all the McCain memorials.....I like him for a lot of reasons, but not for some. But I am now over it and the constant reminders and pity for MM. I hope she takes all her privileged time to get on with it as we all do when we have to get back to work after a devastating death of a loved one. And becomes her "strong woman" again. ETA - like I think she is strong....anyone that has liked the above - feel free to delete.

Unfortunately those that say (like Abby and Meghan) about the vote, never put that pesky little detail in about "of the voters". Let alone that Hillary won the popular vote by 3M, Trump won the EC.

I read somewhere MM will not be there tomorrow, which I think is great. She needs time to re -acclimate. Plus we will be able to see Abby without Meghan around.
