At first I thought this too, but I’m fairly sure she meant approved by God. I doubt the girls send all their Instagram stories to some one for approval before posting them.

God is all forgiving, that’s kind of the point. DCC clearly is not lol. I am a religious person but I’m sorry this response makes no sense.

What season was the two hour special? Is it available anywhere?

Season 10 Episode 6, show group auditions. Kelli says Jinelle is not as strong that year, but Katy (Jinelle’s current fiancé) says to put her on anyway because overall package is good (I assume being well spoken, good on appearances, reliable, etc.) Some one then asks about Angela. Katy comments Angela has turned down appearances. In the end, Jinelle makes show group and Angela does not. Now that I know about Katy and Jinelle’s relationship, I am wondering if Katy didn’t push for her just because that would mean Jinelle would be in attendance at all the USO tours etc. I like Jinelle a lot, but still. Anyone ever consider this?

I know Amy, Heather and Molly are confirmed retirees, but when did Bridget and Christina become confirmed retirees as well? I know lots of speculation on those two thus far, but was wondering if I missed the confirmation post somewhere.

That was my first thought as well. But an earlier poster pointed out the comments on her post as well as Heather’s from other girls on the team. If you look at the comments it’s pretty clear both are retiring.

Molly’s post could indicate the exact same thing. Both seem to suggest they are commemorating the last time dancing with that specific group, not saying goodbye to the organization and retiring. They could be alluding to that, but honestly every retirement post I’ve seen from girls prior has been very direct about it being their last year and thanking everyone involved for their support etc. Just a thought that there may still be hope for both coming back! For those who want that, of course 🙂

I just remembered Bridget was in a long term relationship when she joined the team. It was featured on the show. Were they engaged/married? I wonder what happened there. They had been together a long time I think.

I have kept my mouth shut about VK — because what do I really know based off tidbits a reality show displays? But this is hands down ridiculous. To be clear I like the video. It has very nice musicality. She appears pretty and skillfully talented. But as an earlier poster pointed out, the only receiver of a solo DCC in motion video is Maddie: a senior vet who shares point of the triangle. Where is Amy’s solo video? Gina’s? Bridget’s? Any vet that clearly has a great solo to showcase? It’s Christmas Eve and I feel pathetic posting about this. Certainly can’t blame VK. Only the leadership that keeps doing this stuff over and over. For the love of God, please stop.

On her saved instagram stories, click through to the end of the ‘Love’ one. It’s all of her and Josh until the last one is some cryptic quote. Wonder what happened! If anyone knows please share.

Did Julia’s footwork look off? Lol, absolutely not Kelli. Stop trying to plant a reason for you to unjustifiably cut her next episode. That whole comment was hysterical. I was not a VK fan last year. Have actually really enjoyed her improvement this season. The girl did not hit a single line. Is that mentioned? Of course not. Eye roll. Yes Kelli was annoyed Shaina didn’t discuss her situation. So selfish, meh.

I had similar thoughts watching this week’s episode. Like I wonder if Kat would actually stand out as a stronger dancer among Meredith/Lily/Madeline S group? Or would she be receiving the same critiques as them because all the weakest would be together? It’s 5am so I’m not sure if I’m wording this in a way that makes sense 🙄 I’m not 100% either way but would definitely be curious to see.

Thank you for pointing this out. I didn’t notice watching the episode. Daphne is shocking. She has always been a power performer, member of show group, etc. Wonder what happened.

Could not agree more. Frankly it is a testament to Heather’s beauty that she still looks that pretty with hair that is two completely different colors. How has this not been rectified yet. Sigh.

Isn’t the flight crew director a former dcc? I totally see what you’re talking about. Just considered maybe it’s a professional courtesy of some sort

I was shocked this didn’t get more discussion when it happened. IMO if she cannot fulfill all the potential responsibilities of being a DCC (including the calendar), then she should not be one. People cannot pick and choose what aspects of a JOB to participate in based on personal preferences — regardless of how noble the rationale is. This is hard for me to say because I have adored Lauren ever since her bread comment (still do), but this situation in particular seems wildly inconsistent and hypocritical. I admire/respect her reasoning when it comes to maintaining a professional image in her nursing career, but then how do you support the project overall and all of your other best friends risking their professional image? Lauren and Lauren alone has a special enough job where she can request to skip the calendar? I’m surprised Kelli is okay with the idea that Lauren is ‘above’ anything DCC related. Lauren skipping it calls the tastefulness of the entire calendar into question. ie Kelli maybe we tone down the sexiness of the calendar so you aren’t asking your prized women to objectify themselves to the point of being afraid it will impact their professional image outside dcc? Or do we not care? ... except only care when it comes to Lauren? Not to mention setting that precedent is a slippery slope. Posters here are already now asking why elementary school teachers would choose to participate. Lauren could have done a more ‘fun’ shoot versus a sexy one (as acknowledged seasons back by K&J for Mackenzie who smiled on a bicycle instead of ‘rolling around in the sand trying to be sexy’). Hell, put Lauren in a one piece even. We saw Rachel posing in them looking amazing. That’s more tasteful than the actual uniform itself. I’m not sure why I care so much truth be told, but it just seems overall confusing/weird.

I think @ShellyB confirmed this last year (but I could be mistaken so please correct me if so!), but they like to update the website with the new squad photo, cameos and bios in sync with the squad photo episode airing on CMT. Which I sort of understand because you watch the episode and think oh hey I want to go take a look at the finished product! And squad photo episode obviously the team is announced, so no spoilers :) But for us impatient people who clearly need better hobbies.. I wish it were earlier! and so the new girls could share sooner rather than later after a long summer of hard work.
