  1. Perry Mason’ Season 2 Adds Paul Raci, Sean Astin, Tommy Dewey, Jen Tullock to Cast Paul Raci as “Lydell McCutcheon” – a self-made power player who built LA, along with his fortune, off the city’s vast oil fields. Lydell has sired both a lucrative empire and an ambitious son incapable of commanding it. Jen Tullock as “Anita St. Pierre” – a successful screenwriter and the rare woman who’s made a name for herself in a man’s world. Stylish, confident, and witty, Anita crashes into Della’s world and shows her a side of life and love that she’s been missing. Tommy Dewey as “Brooks McCutcheon” – the scion of the wealthiest oil family in LA. He’s charming, connected and eager to prove himself. He constantly questions whether that self has the talent to rise to the heights to which own father ascended. Sean Astin as “Sunny Gryce” – embodies the American Dream… to a fault. Perry and Della’s new client, he’s a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield that is dueling supermarkets in town, and he’ll make sure he gets his money’s worth out of his fancy new attorneys. Shea Whigham moves from a main character to recurring as “Pete Strickland” – Strickland has a brotherly rapport with Perry and a cheerfully rakish demeanor that wins friends and influences damsels. Now working for the District Attorney’s office, Strickland’s relationship with Perry will be strained as they find themselves on opposite sides of this season’s case.

  8. I almost think that the Diviner designed/installed the Protostar's experimental engine and therefore has knowledge/access to every facet of the ship, which makes it that much easier to betray the crew and try to take the Protostar for yourself, when something unforeseen happened, and the ship was lost.
  9. Peacemaker actually stuck the Superhero landing when he jumped out of the window this time, unlike whatever was going on when he was jumping at the apartment building.
  10. It is funny that no matter who talks about Amanda Waller around Adebayo, they say she is a horrible monster.

  15. Doomlands is a post-apocalyptic animated comedy soaked in dust, beer and blood. It's an homage to Ozploitation and Sci-Fi cinema. Doomlands premieres January 28th on The Roku Channel and is available to stream with a free account. Doomlands began as a 2015 university film project of Australian creator Josh O'Keefe. It then went on to raise $8,493.98 on Kickstarter to crowdfunded a pilot. The show was on its way to becoming a series on Quibi in 2020 until the service shut down and sold their entire content library to Roku, who continued the project working through the pandemic. Doomlands is a penal colony that contains a wealthy walled city called Aurion where a semblance of order has been established, but everywhere else the criminals spend their life sentences driving around in a lawless state, Mad Max style. Doomlands is like Mad Max meets Cheers in the Mos Eisley Cantina. Doomlands has a similar post-apocalyptic setting and mutated denizens that dwell within, but dares to be different by putting our heroes into the comedic situation of having to serve alcohol to this motley crew. Doomlands follows the adventures of the mobile pub, The Oasis, a bar on wheels that crosses the wastelands of this post-apocalyptic world serving beer to the unusual characters who live in this hellish landscape. The owner of The Oasis, is the infamous outlaw Danny Doom (Mark Little) a legend in these parts who seems to have mellowed out with his responsibilities. The Oasis' aspiring bartender Lhandi (Kayla Lorette) has always hoped to meet the wild man that she has heard so much about, but Danny Doom is laid back and not living up to the hype. Lhandi's mistakes, naivety, and recklessness may just force Danny Doom to resume the mantle that earned him his legendary status. Together, the crew of The Oasis face all sorts of challenges, big and small, from desert biker gangs to memory-stealing creeps, to mean graffiti on the walls, all this crew's got to do to survive, is not kill each other. Doomlands is written by Josh O'Keefe, Roger Bainbridge, Brandon Hackett, Kayla Lorette, and Mark Little. Lee Porter and Josh O'Keefe serve as co-showrunners. It was developed by Josh Bowen and produced by Look Mom! Productions.
  16. 'Single Drunk Female': Sofia Black-D'Elia & Ally Sheedy on the Messy Freeform Dramedy and Exploring a Mother-Daughter Relationship Addiction, alcoholism, and sobriety are difficult subjects that often lead to challenging conversations and ongoing struggles, which is most definitely the case for Samantha Fink (Sofia Black-D’Elia) on the new Freeform dramedy Single Drunk Female, inspired by the life experiences of show creator Simone Finch. The 20-something alcoholic is forced into sobriety in order to avoid jail time, but when that leads to moving back home with her mother Carol (Ally Sheedy), who’s giving it everything she’s got to have a life of her own, and having to face all the triggers that lead her to drink in the first place, figuring out who she is and what she wants while sober seems like an insurmountable task. During a virtual junket, Collider got the opportunity to chat with co-stars Black-D’Elia and Sheedy for this interview, which you can both watch and read, about playing messy characters on a messy show, the instantaneous bond the actresses had with each other, having endless amounts of material to explore in this mother-daughter relationship, shooting a very memorable scene in the grocery store that Sam finds herself working at, and always finding the truth in the material.

  21. I wish the Tuskan Warriors had survived so they could have gotten some revenge on the Pykes in the upcoming war. How did the Speed Bikers know which Tuskan Warriors to kill, they should have had them kill the wrong Tuskans, so ours could join the fight.
