This sounds awful but if you can find one of those cell phone repair shops (they're generally in sketchy areas though) they may be able to fix it for a nominal fee. It will invalidate any warranty if you go that route though. I need a new phone. The one I have needs to be plugged into the wall or an external battery pack within an hour. 9 times out of 10 the call will go straight to voicemail because the phone itself randomly disconnects from the network so I have to manually reconnect every few hours. My mother has ranted about me needing a new one and that she'll pay for it. She gets so worried when my phone goes straight to voicemail. I picked one out that I like, brand is reliable, and has a good reputation. Bit pricey but phones bought unlocked always are. Long story short. I'm regretting even entertaining the offer. Edit: Minor annoyance in the grand scheme of things. I love my parents dearly, I do. They're both just very peculiar people with set ideas on how the world should work and that's that.

I can't imagine they dealt well with all the internet attention at the time. I remember watching all that play out in real time. People were spamming the Muncks HARD with what they were getting into. Elizabeth seems better off for it. From what others have pieces together of the Muncks and recent activity, she would have been slamming the Pepsi back hard.

Packing up to leave within the next couple of days. The obligations are piling up and I can't take the majority of my work with me. I was making arrangements with a neighbor to check on my place every few days yesterday and we've just been gobsmacked at how inconsiderate people have become. Management sent out a notice that they'll be off-site indefinitely and only responding to emergencies so it has become a free for all. There were at least two raging parties Friday night. While the cat's away the mouse will play and all that. I'm absolutely furious with management and am going to be raising hell once I get back. I know the right people to be raising hell with and I just need the energy. Notes don't work with these people unless it's really offensive (think see you next Tuesday). They don't care.

Yeah... If anyone here was to analyze my grammar and syntax here they would be like O.O when it comes out I have two advanced degrees. The students I've taught over the years would tear me apart for docking them marks on syntax and grammar. 😂 The Duggars seem to have missed out on the other aspects of education though.

I think had the Bateses been a wee bit more flexible Ashley would have married in. The restrictions they had on Zach and Sarah's courtship were unbelievable. It was almost as if they were trying to outdo the Duggars. No wonder Sarah went running for the hills. Kelly seems like a bit of a monster-in-law though. Whereas Michelle probably has no idea which daughter-in-law's birth she's at, Kelly seems to be something else...

Because almost exclusively when a courtship/proposal has been broken off in fundieland, it has been due to something the male or their family did/how the family acts. The only exception so far (I have seen anyway) has been the eldest Anderson boy and that was because the woman's parents allegedly did something PP and Zsu didn't approve of. Although you never know. Maybe Paul and Christina have skeletons in their closet.

Considering the Caldwells add more powder into their Kool-Aid than the Duggars, Lauren probably feels like damaged goods right now. I do really wonder how much she knew Titus. It's quite possible this was yet another Smuggar situation where there were skeletons in the closet (although I hope not that bad) and they were itching to marry him off to a woman outside their immediate circle.

Titus deleting his Facebook is just downright weird though. Did he have a secret tattoo or something?

They clearly forgot about those. It was an engagement announcement out of nowhere. I wonder how much they actually knew each other and/or got to spend time with each other. When Duggar birthday greetings are more personal than what you post about a future daughter in law, that's a bit troubling. At any rate it's probably better for Lauren. The age gap between her and Great Value Jeremy alongside having to move away from her family looked like a recipe for disaster.

It's been leaked for awhile. Titus deleted his facebook account. Wonder if he's hired a lawyer and hit up the gym too? The awkward engagement announcement talking about how Lauren loves the Lord and therefore they love Lauren has been scrubbed off Facebook as well.

Last time Felicity and Jinger were in Arkansas (that we have photographic proof of) was late February/early March. We know they were in Arizona with the twins and JB at some point over the summer.

Oily in some spots. Dry in others. There's two things that suck 1) I was on meds for 2 months to clear up my skin back in April/May. It was perfect timing because I didn't have to worry about slathering on zinc oxide sunscreen every day because of the meds. I had almost blemish free skin. All that effort? Poof. Gone. 2) the contouring feature in Zoom only helps so much! 😭 You could see one of the huge pimples by my mouth very clearly on the Zoom call I was on Friday with the contouring option on. I feel like I'm 15 again and slathering on layers of foundation to try and even out my skin. I suppose I'm keeping Sephora in business at this rate. I'll deal but the medication I was on was a one time use only. I have a few benign cysts on my nose (again) which will need to be chopped off by a dermatologist. At least you know I've wore a mask properly this entire time. That will have to wait a bit because last time I got it done, I couldn't wear glasses until the incisions healed. Can't imagine a mask that goes over the nose. It's a small sacrifice I know but with how shitty this year has been, all my "wins" were short lived.

I hadn't heard of the case before and it just blew my mind how many mistakes were made. Campus police not taking the disappearance seriously was only the beginning. Then it just kept going on and on to the point I was wondering if there is a police equivalent of Dr. Nick from The Simpsons in real life. If so, they were clearly working on this case. I've been listening to a lot of unsolved crime podcasts recently where there is no suspect and limited amounts of evidence. I couldn't imagine as a parent having the suspect right there, evidence "go missing", half-hearted searches, and still be living the nightmare 24 years later of trying to find out what happened to your kid.

I've got some pretty wicked mask-acne or whatever cutesy name they're calling it. It's going to be weird to not wear one constantly. My parents do curbside for everything except buying produce. I'm starting to gain weight again. The emotional eating has been bad. 😕 but soon I will blow off this popsicle stand. Can't wait to get out of here.

Lauren is interesting because whatever "problem" she had she could have probably grown out of it if she had exposure to the wider world. Alas she was born into a cult that believes your uterus is going to crawl out and run away if it is not full before you can legally drink so... Marriage it is! If Josiah was married off for any reason beyond that people were speculating about his sexuality I would be surprised. It's crazy thinking about it. They really do marry off their kids if they're a problem. That's bad.

Well if Smuggar and Smuganna aren't fond of her, clearly she's the best of the bunch. I used to mock Lauren but I wonder if a lot of her fussiness and all that is due to being overwhelmed in huge settings and not wanting to put on performances. I mean I would be like why the fuck would I want to renew my vows for TV? That makes no sense, I just got married. Also the Duggars don't seem to have a concept of a "small" gathering. It has to be the majority of them or none at all. It has to be absolute chaos and I can't think of many people okay with that amount of chaos.

First sighting was at the "Jed and Jer abandoning their bachelor pad" watch party back in November. This was at the TTH. The weird part for me (although I shouldn't be surprised) is that Lauren seamlessly went into stylish jeans and pants. Jill and Jinger were wearing those oversized bulky jeans before getting into skinny jeans. While we shouldn't be overly surprised at this point, I always got the impression the Swansons were pretty strict on the dresses/skirts only like the Caldwells.
