  1. And then they broke up for a bit over it and got together again.

I already lost track of what happened to Willow's 15K.  Why is Justin helping her so much?  Ready for this plot to be resolved already.  She is very proud that she looks after herself, but she doesn't do such a great job of it.  Great ending with them trapped in the car's trunk (boot?)

I love Aussie-speak - "the cop shop" lol.  Great place to run into your friends, too.

  2. When you are dating someone who can be having a baby with their recent ex, you have to figure things move along so fast that this can happen.   There was some issue that Torie was starting this relationship too quickly and now that is coming home to roost already.

Alf's attitude with Mick might be understandable, but it is not working.  Need to try another approach.

  3. Why they do not try to get Luc via the legal system - so very stupid.  Mick and the law could be on their tail no matter where they go.

Yeah, I don't like the new criminal female - maybe she will have some tale of how it is not her fault she is mixed up in it.

  4. Since Mick did do time for raping Billie, I would think he has no real chance of custody.  Merely being the biological father should not overcome that.  They are ratcheting up the drama by skirting that fact, to make it look like Mick is a real threat.

LOL at that kid putting an arm around each girl.

  5. It is nice that in Erinsborough Hospital, they have someone to do your nails for you.  After what Piper had been through, surely her nail polish could not look that good without an opportunity to have them done in the hospital.  Very lovely perfect looking pale pink nail polish when she touched Tyler's face.

If you are expelled from school, is there something you can do to continue your education?  Erinsborough High kicks you out, what do you do?  Will another school take you - is there some type of reform school?  Or as joked about, "military school."   We used to tease kids about being sent to military school if they were misbehaving.

I had not known Shane was in jail - looks like he can counsel his daughter well.

  6. Having an anniversary alone and without the mother-in-law seemed reasonable.  Maggie's mother is a control freak for sure.  The beach wedding was cute.

Ziggy is more likable than usual this episode.  She wasn't focused on herself as much, I guess.

The DNA test was strange in that I thought they already knew Luc was Mick's child from the timing.  Maybe it gives Mick a better case, but then the foundation for the evidence is questionable.  He should go into court and ask for the DNA test.

  7. I thought that about Tori's first outfit - that was way too "cute" and she seemed to be leaving for it.  Then she changed and I realized at least she was wearing that to the funeral, but something about the cut seemed to "club" like it was to wear to go out dancing.  Didn't seem appropriate either.  I wonder if that's the wardrobe people thinking that dress OK or are they trying to tell us that Tori doesn't have much fashion sense!

HAHAHA so true! And how quickly they get over the 'love of their life' (case in point: Paige/Jack).

Totally off-topic but I just found out that Rob Mills (Finn) was in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Arts Centre Melbourne not that long ago? For some reason this makes me want to laugh uncontrollably.

    He's Jesus?  Too funny!

I seem to recall that Courtenay also (very briefly!) dated Josh at one point...how has that never come up???

Ugh, Mark's wanted a baby for so long and now he finally has one (sort of), I won't be surprised if he already considers Gabe as 'his'.

Really? I figured he's just stunt casting, but good to know he's actually a good stage performer. Still can't imagine him as Jesus though.

It is ironic that Paige was too young and not ready to have kids, and now Paige is the one with the baby and Mark, the older and more stable, does not.  Way too bad he lost Kate - might have a family by now.

  9. The Astonis are awful parents and Ziggy has turned out awful.  At 19 she should be at uni or have a job.  She could model.  She is beautiful and that's why some men would put up with her, but even so, not that long as Brody is getting burned out already.

There seems to be some hope for Coco, though.  Kind of true to life as kids can grow up in the same house and still be different.

Olivia at least realized they were trying to study but then turning on the TV and saying act like I'm not here - oblivious.

Granted I'm not Catholic, and I do understand it's a great big sin for a priest to have sex, but I was under the impression that plain old premarital/extramarital sex was still considered a sin by the Catholic Church.  Did Griffin leave the Catholic Church as well as the priesthood?  Or has he decided to become a lapsed Catholic since he's no longer a priest?

Good point, though as to pre-marital most Catholics probably don't pay attention to the rules.

  11. Thanks for the reminders Nozycat.  Poor Billie - a traumatic and short life she had.

Blaming Leah for not telling on Coco was not really fair.  Yet I have this feeling Leah might have done the same sort of thing to other people at some point and so might deserve it.  Funny they decided Ziggie is 19, they had her at 19, so maybe they should give up control.

Olivia continues to be ridiculous.  I hope Hunter does not fail the exams.

  12. Toadie should at least check on Sonya rather than make assumptions.  Glad they nipped that one in the bud with Susan calling him.

LOL about the jobs/businesses, so true.  Moneybags has endless funds is all that is certain.

Trophy fiancee. lol and calling him Paulie.

  13. Ha!  Yes there they both are!  Mick and what's his name.

They let Mick out even with no one to speak for him.  I forget what he did, just that it was terrible.

Mason is way OTT with that poor woman who just got killed already wanting her heart.

  14. Yes, her ex is still out there and so I expect him to show up any time.  Scarlett and Justin have been happy for the obligatory 5 seconds, in which case it is time to throw the heat on.

I agree, bulimia is serious.  Maybe it seems secondary to a heart transplant patient.  Mason was overkill - the girl's death is on her bum heart.  He is a medical student.  I guess they mean to show how much he loves her by having him yell at doctors.

I know it is plot convenience with an actor leaving, but anyone who was with Nate would not think Ash to rate that high and put up with his stuff.  I guess now Mick is going to come for his child now that Ash and Tori have been happy for the obligatory 5 seconds.

  15. Two examples of controlling men before the credits.  Taking Nina's phone call and telling the caller Nina can't talk.  And hiring someone to look into Nell's case without telling Nell.

OK so Jason buys a company and gets out of the mob.  Patient 6 comes in and takes over the mob.  Sam can't decide between them.  Or they will do exactly what they did on One Life to Live with two Todds and let Patient 6 turn out to be Jason and "Jake" is the other twin.  He's already acting like Jason refusing to take any help.  Bottom line, this is all to give someone a job, not to tell a good story to the audience.

Not a fan of priest stories.  Obviously, this person is not cut out to be one.   He should have known that years ago.  And they do not show the lure of the church as part of the story.  So we don't see a real conflict.  You know, how he wants to be a priest at the same time and is conflicted.  That wouldn't be too interesting.  So it does not make good soap.

  16. Ben is stupid is the most classical way.  Did he read Romeo and Juliet?  And he is a control freak.  State your misgivings and that is all that is needed.

I did not realize Scarlett was a lawyer.  Either me not paying attention or sudden soap opera convenience.

  17. Paul kind of holds a grudge when he himself has done bad things.  I'm rooting for Nick to be OK because Amy has had too much bad luck with men.

Steph has had cancer too?  Everyone gets a turn.  And mental illness.  Tough life even for a soap character.   Another reason not to want Nick to turn out bad.  Otherwise Paul will be right which is not rootworthy.

Maybe the pool playing guy going to turn out to be Tyler's Dad.  Oh I was right.   Hahahaha.

  18. I was glad Hunter said he has a Dad and his name is Zach.  I don't know how the writers thought this Dad story was a good one to do.  Should have left it as Zach.

Maggie is the principal now too?  LOL she came to take over Summer Bay.

So I guess Beth is terminally ill.

Raffi did lose everything, but she could have ended up in foster care. She is lucky with who she has.  Why she is so stubborn with them is hard to fathom and now Marilyn talks of apologizing to her and telling her she does not have to do anything she does not want to do.  The weakness in the story is that if you are of high intelligence,  you don't deny it and your interest in things leads to good grades.

  19. True, though Paul is not really a good guy and Gary is, so I see where she is coming from.  Two men and her brother all fighting over her with cancer - talk about being the center of attention!

Yes, Shane should not be asked to do that and he already did it once.  And how come Mishti has to confidence in Dipi as a confidant, rather than her BIL?  They seem to be pretty close.

Plus they have Yashvi pretending to be sleeping with Ben, another not so good message.
