  1. So sorry you're going through it. My mom makes three now that I've lost to the long-term care system (she's not gone gone, she's just gone). I would like to give you a pep talk, but I've got nothing. Allow as much time for your own peace as you possibly can. I've gained a solid appreciation for dying in one's sleep, even if "too young". Living into one's 90's and beyond while propped up by pharmaceuticals, unable to see, hear, control one's own functions...nah, pass.

Beginning on January 1, 2022, the standard mileage rates for the use of a car (also vans, pickups or panel trucks) will be: 58.5 cents per mile driven for business use, up 2.5 cents from the rate for 2021. Most employers use this as their guide, but it isn't mandatory. This would be the number used for IRS/tax filing purposes.
  14. Mine is going from $119/annually to $139 annually. If paying monthly, I believe it is a $2 increase/mo.
