I don't think Dayton would have made the team this year even with a stellar interview. Obviously she has an amazing figure but not a DCC level/hd 'friendly' figure but she can easily fix this. And she definitely needs more confidence while performing but again, she can totally fix this in one year. I can honestly picture her already with the uniform, while for example I definitely don't think Victoria is a good fit for DCC (at least for now). Both of them will have to prove themselves too and I get why Kelli said they have it worse as legacies. Yes they are getting a huge advantage, but fans will never let them forget that being a legacy is at least one of the reasons they made the team.

I don't think they would punish a roommate (and friend) for not being a snitch. Now a team leader seeing one of her girls at a club underage/or all over a player in a public setting, I guess she would be held accountable too. Not that girls should be running to Kelli to report suspicious behavior, but they should be handling such situations themselves-and i'm sure eventually Kelli would learn all about these situations.

Adults are drinking. And especially college kids. Quite honestly, being able to go to war at 18 but having to wait until 21 to have a beer is stupid. The only reason why people are being so irresponsible with drinking is that making it illegal makes it even cooler. In europe we can officially drink at 18, unofficially 16, and if we are with an adult we can legally drink even if underage. That's a different discussion though, but my point is that most people at Holly's age drink. Most of the girls throughout the year would definitely break those rules, what Kelli really wants is that none of this becomes public. And I honestly think that Jenna should be severely punished for this,even if she wasn't the one breaking the law. We saw them having a discussion about her stepping up and becoming a true leader and then she went on to not only allow one of her "mentees" to break the law, but she stood beside her all along.

What confuses me is that apparently they didn't say anything to Raylee herself about it. It's just speculation but i doubt CMT would miss an opportunity to film an interview of a 3rd year vet being "threatened". And as for Heather, they obviously had no issues with her and Kelli called her cute and spanky so unless her interview was a complete disaster, i don't see how a minor mistake in a number you performed so many times in the past year presumably without messing up, would be enough to kick you out of the team.

Cersten would absolutely make a great leader and would be great at point as well. I actually blame K&J for the Jenna situation. They keep saying that no one is guaranteed a leadership role or even a showgroup position based on seniority, so prove it. We can't know for sure what happened last year but I think even this conversation proved there were issues. If a 6 year vet says this is the year of change or that she just now realized she needs to be you know, a leader, then she doesn't deserve the spot. I totally understood Kelli's side and I'm glad she tried to help Kelsey-and without adding weird comments like calling her a bacon. The producers didn't really need to add those things but I guess a first time viewer would be confused by this scene withou some context. if i'm not mistaken,these are the interviews they are doing every year with the returninh vets. But i don't think we've ever seen them before.

I totally see what you're saying and we can't know for sure who's 'right'. I don't think it's fair to judge someone after only getting a couple of scenes but that's reality tv. Poor Kelsey is stuck with the 50 yards line even after a year on the team. So I guess it's kinda up to them to present themselves wisely on tv... and Kalyssa's comments plus her ta ta shaking moves plus her being the only one leaving auditions without a shirt on... hopefully she will win me over next week. i haven't commented on the vets' scenes. I would love to see more of the interviews, as well as them learning the routine. Their talk with Jenna was weird. She supposedly was a leader last year as well and I don't understand how they could ask a 6 year veteran who had a leadership role last year, if she is ready to step up. But I loved that they acknowledges the retiring veterans. It was only fitting as they lost so many valuable cheerleaders-as Kelli herself said.

I just managed to see the episode so I have A LOT of comments. I guess he does make valuable comments as well, otherwise I can't picture Kelli being THAT happy with someone being so overly sexist. Yes the girls to male fans are mainly eye candy, but she is working so hard to ensure they get the best girls in every aspect and reducing them to comments like "she's hot" is insulting. Jenn was in the hospital like a week or two before that. It was her choreo as well so I'm impressed with her resilience. I don't think it's admirable. Maybe she is really that passionate with the team but her comments about her awesomeness were off putting and it does seem like she only cares for the exposure and status she will get with the dccs. But either way, i don't think that leaving everything behind to move in a different state when you can't even afford to travel there,just to get a ridicusly underpaid part time job is a sound decision. Aaand i've managed to somehow delete half of my post!

Well I don't think people would be so bothered if an elementary student didn't know these things, and especially before when the elections didn't get that much international exposure. But after Obama who at the very least made history for being the first black president and well Trump for being Trump, I guess the only way of not ever seeing their names on TV is if you only watched TLC and the Kardashians. There's no excuse for this, and even more so given that these girls can watch interviews snippets of 12 years worth so by now every single one of them should know to expect such a question.

Oh well Cassie is a whole different topic. Im 1000% with you that she got special treatment, which is why i'm glad Dayton didn't make it this year. She wasn't dcc fit, she isn't the most powerful dancer and her interview was less than stellar. Their decision was fair imo, but I also think that if she works hars during this season, she can totally make it next year on her own right. Tbh, I wonder how even an intelligent candidate would answer that. Europe could care less about american football so as a european i would say just don't do it, we are obsessed with our kind of football and make fun of you for calling your version football as well :p

Seriously? They didn't know who the first lady is? Wth? So stupid offends Kelly only when it comes to Kelsey and girls she doesn't like, but a legacy who really has no excuse (she is the only legacy after Cassie who has access to that many inside info) and an overly sexual dancer who could easily be considered a bimbo after this...they are fine! kelsey has the issue obviously! What confuses me about vet cuts, is that they know how good they actually are during games and performances. Most of the times it's vets who were on the bubble the whole year, but Heather was supposedly fine and Raylee was good enough for her second year... so i can't see how a minor mistake would cost them their job after a whole year.

I think they mean that some girls do get the choreo, but at the same time get a bit confused when actually dancing it out. I've never been on a professional level, but i've been taking dance class my whole life and it does take me some to really perform a choreo. I'm sure i'm not explaining it correctly :p but i know the counts and the correct moves, but when the song plays i start missing moves until i've had enough practice.

Obviously, but I meant that since we have zero info on the current squad and this is the only thing we have to discuss, we are overanalyzing a situation that for all we know may not even be real. For example,they are trying to promote their show and all the comments are about Holly. That's certainly not K&J want. I wasn't referring to our speculations.

I guess we really need a spoiler because we are certainly taking it too far with the Holly speculation. I don't believe she is going after specific friends to get ahead. I know I gained and lost just as many friends as Holly after high school and through college. She just happens to be on the spotlight, but if that makes one selfish, well I'm selfish myself. And do anyone honestly believes that these girls are there for the team and improving a brand to make millions of dollars for someone else by sacrifice their time and well being? Every single one of them is a DCC for what it offers them. Maybe some girls are better at blending in. But of course a girl with previous squad experience is better at this than a girl who is only studio trained.

Oh god every reply is about Holly and how amazing she is... did they really expect that no one would notice she was missing? I mean half the current team could probably go missing and we wouldn't notice, but Jenna and Holly are fan favorites.

Wait, if we think that she didn't get cut, why would she leave exactly? Even if she got pissed for missing a big event as a punishment, I don't think she would leave. And I'm not her no.1 fan, but I don't think we have proof that she is sooo immature that she would quit because #reasons. And Holly is obviously a very passionate dancer, she wouldn't give up an opportunity to perform without having a back up plan first.

The video on Twitter? I honestly don't see anything wrong with it. Holly wasn't particularly friendly, she was just american-sweetheart-polite-and-cute. I can't see how this video would ever count against her, even if it was supposedly her last 'strike'.

I honestly can't see them singling Jenna out specifically. As a dancer, she isn't really that young anymore to put a hold on her plans to stay on the team. Generally speaking she is obviously young, but if she wants to further her career she needs to act now. I just think she was the only retiring vet who didn't HAVE to leave-the others either had new job opportunities, had issues with weight warnings etc-and half of them became all stars.

Yeah I think I remember now that JennK became a group leader in her second year and then got in the triangle in her third. Now that you mentioned Holly's cut, maybe they were suspecting that (at least) one vet is a goner this year? It seems like a big coincidence that they are taking so much time to decide who to cut, stopped at 40 early on while maintaining that the goal is 36 and it happens to be the year two of the most popular (or recognizable) cheerleaders are on the bubble. btw, seeing all the vets together it struck me how young the squad is. I'm guessing there's a chance Jinelle, Lacey, Kashara and Erica retire this year so they won't have many upper vets. Maaaaybe they will convince Jenna to stay on for her 7th year!

I don't think it has that much to do with relatability. Jinelle for some reason is always hidden anyway, but I think Lacey is too tall for point and a bit more lyrical. I for one would love to see her as point, but I don't think she is as powerful as Kashara is. What's more confusing to me is that they stopped cutting people quite early. And they are supposedly 4 people over their "limit", unless they decided on a 39-40 members squad this year. Wasn't JennK in the triangle from her 2nd year? Or was it the third?

Are we sure all of them are all stars? I thought they were just filling in because all the girls were away and only three out of the five confirmed all stars were available. 3?3 boob jobs? Whaaat? and if the uniboob is that obvious in a dress, i don't see how they can hide it in the tiny uniform.

I agree with your feelings towards Jenna, but at the same time she seems to be everybody's bestie and she's been a bridesmaid in multiple weddings. I don't like her and I'm glad she's out of the picture (for now) AND that we got such an amazing triangle... yet i'm not sure she is that awful to her teammates.

Oh and I forgot to comment on the new intro! It was about time! But i think it was too short, i would love to see some other faves as well aaand Holly looks a bit orange for some reason. But it's much better than the previous one
