Well the DCC isn't exactly a normal employer. I wouldn't blame a girl for leaving after a year considering that the pay is really bad, the hours are exhausting and they need to have a full time job too. If anything, they need to provide their top talents with a reason to stay more than a couple years.

No no no, Kashara needs to get her chance! I'm a huge Kashara fan and I need her to be second leader this year! Down the road maybe :p

Cersten is definitely getting a barbie! If I remember correctly, she is the one who wanted to go into med school right? So maybe we won't get more than two years of her! Enjoy it while it lasts fellas!

Well i wouldn't call that burning up the dancefloor but anyway it's not my call. i really liked that blonde girl. I remember her from some of the prep classes. Hope she makes it! and btw: Jenna apparently went first. We already saw Erica and Holly. Who's going to be closing the solos?

I liked her but I kept having flashbacks of kitty saying don't so *things* you can't do and that you need to attack every movement. She has good technique but it's obvious that it's not her thing, especially if they compare her to Lacey who is always bringing it.

They just posted a clip of Heather O's solo on snapchat. Jinelle is also in there and to me her solo looked weird. Loved the costume though.

That....that was Jessika? So a vet thought that this combination is good? It's not just the choreo itself, she didn't even complete her moves. I thought it was one of the new candidates.

Ok so I was happy with the little "loukoumades" sequence as a Greek. And now we have two greek actors on the show soo I'm proud of them! however, I didn't like that Jay lost his position because Erin was upset for a random reason and somehow that ended up being jay's fault. Kim was working with intelligence for years and yet wasn't allowed to move to Antonio's desk, but the new girl can take Jay's spot on her first day,even though she is also of a lower rank (while Kim and Ruzek are the same rank, even if Kim has been a patrol for longer). I'm a huge Erin fan but they keep punishing jay for things Erin is doing and I HATE it. Erin is the one who left the team twice, Erin is the one who keeps messing things up and yet she is untouchable. Jay has been nothing but loyal to the team and personally, if I was treated like that by my boss I would be following Antonio to wherever he was going. and I still don't understand what is going on with linstead anyway. I was also a huge fan of Linstead but ever since the break?break up?whatever the hell this is, I just don't care anymore. I don't know why writers think that we like this kind of drama, but that's just a confusing mess that has no place in a crime show. Erin is becoming the Gabby of CPD. i liked the case but I was wondering... 16 is the age of consent in many places and he was just 18/from my understanding, either a college freshman or a high school senior. Could he really be charged with statutory rape? Plus since the girlfriend still had feelings for him i don't why she accused him in the first place. aaand who cares about Bunny again?

I understand that Jinelle may not be pretty according to some tastes (and she isn't the only one we can't agree on either), but I doubt that they keep her out of focus because they think she is ugly. If that was true, she would have been long gone. Most of the girls we disagree on (regarding looks that is) are girls who stay one or two years and then are "outdanced".

I don't think they only focused on her exactly, but they do have a tendency to focus on 2-3 rookies who are in danger of being cut each year and that's tiring. I don't watch the show to get to know a girl who won't make it, i watch to learn more about the team, the members and watch them dancing. But in her case, well if Kelly would stop saying all these weird things about her when filming with CMT they wouldn't have had footage to air. I get that she needs to make criticisms etc but obviously any producer would choose to keep stuff like "that girl is chewy like bacon" over "omg that girl has so much power".

I think that's why most of us are so put off by her at this point. She is too old for this. Obviously I don't mean that 30 is "old", but when it comes to building a career it is. Dcc counts as building a dance career so girls who want to teach dance etc are fine with being dccs up to their late 20s with side jobs and then they can easily find a teaching job as former dccs. Jasmine won't be able to keep this lifestyle going for much longer and she doesn't have experience to go into another field.

And she is so well-spoken too! I think they need to keep her around because at some point they need to start preparing for the day Judy and Kelli retire. Not that it's going to happen soon, but it's not like they can easily find somebody and just put them at their places. And they will need other people on the team who truly love the organization and well, Jenn is exactly what they need imo. And no, i won't stop fangirling over her.

I forgot about that but I found it so rude. It kinda implied that Kelsey normally is well, dumb. For me the "stupid" things she has said were completely due to the nerves of being interviewed by a panel, with 4 other girls while there are also cameras pointed at you. Some girls (like the O'Biden girl or the one who didn't know the two political parties) definitely weren't the smartest cookies. And Kelsey seems the kind of girl who even when caught doing/saying something embarassing (we've all been there,let's be real), will be able to use humor and turn things around. So telling her that she needs to try hard to be able to have a normal conversation is insulting. Kelli, try calling other girls bacon this year and see how they respond. i'm sorry for the rant but I was so mad with the treatment Kelsey got. I get having favorites but that was just weird.

Really? Like from the 4 or 5 girls in each group 2 will be vets and 2/3 candidates?together? How have I not noticed this until now?

Are they mixing vets with candidates for the interviews?

I think this year will be very interesting because the vets are also very very strong. There is no one who seems to be out of shape and the team is also pretty young with only four girls left in the 3+ group. I think that will also play a part. But the candidates look very good too. Well Kelsey totally can dance. Maybe not on a "dcc" level but being a mediocre dcc means that you are very talented in "real world" criteria. And Kelsey definitely lacks the superior techniques that the other girls with the extensive dance background have, but she does have power, projection and sex appeal which are very important for the dcc. Plus, with girls like Morgan it was obvious that they were struggling. With Kelsey there was no concrete criticism apart from genius critiques like you look like bacon. They never said that she keeps doing the same mistakes, they just kept attacking her with various creative "criticisms". I don't doubt she may be cut, but if she does, it will be because Kelli never liked her in the first place. And btw, i think that one of the insiders last year confirmed that Kelsey didn't struggle and it was all just editing. But we'll see of course.

Exactly! Am I the only one who remembers that they uhm "dated" before? And Severide still fell in love with another woman so no, I don't like this pairing anymore. Stella and every female character deserves more than that.
