I agree! I think she has improved a lot dance wise too-hope she makes it this time! Not sure about dayton-the short clip we saw wasn't spectacular but it's difficult to judge. They chose not to show even a single pic from Victoria and I'm sorry, but even in lyrical she doesn't really seem spectacular to me-especially when you put her up against Lacey. They have to show her solo on the show now. i might sound mean, but we got to a point where Victoria and Christina-whose solo i think was actually posted on twitter and it was pretty meh- got barbies. They have a lot of stunning girls this year but I doubt they will get back to the kind of talent they used to have. I think she will look absolutely amazing with a prettier shade of red. Agree. It might be just her face but she looks so bitchy and insencere. I feel bad for saying this, but this plus her competitiveness make me dislike her so much.

Maybe that's their thought process but it's still weird to me. If someone is really committed to auditioning, they will give it at least 6 months of taking prep classes etc so they should be getting there in shape. Vets may fluctuate but they still have a proven track record and they can only get better dance-wise (or at least the same). A new girl is always a bet, no matter how great her audition was.

I don't understand why Kelli loves her so much. She is just as boxy as Allie was and half as good a dancer. She looks much better as a brunette though.

Is that Lexie on the left? Who did she piss off? Why do they post pictures like this one???? I don't understand why they would give the benefit of the doubt to a new girl while cutting a vet for the same reason. If a girl comes to auditions out of shape, then she will always be struggling with this-even if she slims down on time to get on the team. If you know that you will be cutting these girls next year because of that reason, then give their spots to a girl who is already in shape. Well I can't see girls like Kashara, Danielle or even Jenna to be honest being "bossy leaders". But I'm not the biggest Gina fan so I can't really be objective.

Can somebody tell Christina to stop doing this in every picture? That thing isn't sexy or classy. As for Rachel's swimsuit...yes definitely girl next door/classy/america's sweetheart. What were they thinking?

Can I just say that Rachel has been a huge surprise? She reminds me of Danielle in that she's your girl next door hottie, in the prep classes clips she was outdancing the rest of the rookies and she's proven to be quite photogenic. Hope she stays on for 5 years and gets triangle/group leader. fangirling over, but she's one of the very few rookies who have impressed me so i'm going to hold onto that!

I agree with your point, but at the same time it just doesn't matter. Even if all three of them leave the room and all the judges just roast those two girls... k/j/c would still get them to TC. The judges are there mostly for show; if kelli and charlotte want someone on the team, they will be on the team.

I completely understand! She definitely looks older (even at 24 when she made the team) but not in a "bad" way as in looking actually old. Might be unpopular opinion,but I don't see why Savannah is considered photogenic. I think rachel photographs extremely well. But in this pic? They all look...disconnected and kinda awkward. Tasha looks awesome. aaand i want Lacey for cover! Last year her picture was AMAZING!

The thing is that Tasha is not really older than the rest. I think she's 26? So yeah not older than the usual dcc.

I think they are trying to do this,but veery slowly. Last season the rookies got slightly bigger shorts, or at least it looked like it.

Sorry, I just saw a tiny clip in Charlotte's insta story. i don't think it's available anywhere else. I just miss the days I've been mad over Yuko making it. Or even Cassie to be honest. I don't remember the first one, but come on... you can't compare Megan to VK. If you are at Megan's level you're allowed to eat a chocolate from time to time. I understand your point with Dayton, but you said it yourself that VK's vids are bad... as for Yuko, i was pretty vocal back then as well and I still don't understand what happened other than the fact that she is an international candidate or whatever. ...what exactly is this award? Being a dcc is pretty much volunteering your time anyway. I don't think Cassie or even jenna now and definitely not Holly have actually graduated from college. And there's no way anyone would have spent actual money and time in school and then drop out right before getting a degree. I think it's just for show; most girls "work" for dcc sponsors so it's not the same really.P So... did you mix up Sarah with Shelly, or does that mean Sarah is behind some of the 'inside info' posts?

I definitely want to see GL leading practice, as well as "rookie nights". I want to see some clips from retiring vets and vets practicing the finals choreo like last year. I want to see GL1&2 announcement and the calendar shoot. Not sure if they've filmed it this year, but I definitely want to see some clips from the end of year banquet. Aaand I want to see at least the first game and maybe one of the special performances. I'm not asking for much!!!

Well to be fair, VK has probably paid her thousands in the past two years to attend all of her classes (and private classes i'm sure). Imagine how much more she will get by having a struggler in tc! Smart business move! Can you name one current dcc she is outdancing? Even Yuko won me over with her solo this year.but hoe many Yukos do they need on the team to replace powerhouses? Kashara, Rachel and Keyra are built bigger, they are not soft. Especially rachel. Kashara did gain weight last year but so did Danielle who was a fan favorite. You can forgive upper vets who happen to be your last remaining top performers, but not a random tcc. Again, Rachel is absolutely bigger (in her thighs area only), but she is toned. That's completely different. Both VK and dayton are actually bigger in built like Keyra so they have to be pretty much skinny to compete with the rest. just check her vids. She can't control her movements, when she tries to dance with power she looks out of control and doesn't complete her mpves and can't do sexy. And that's after two years of going to all prep classes. Maybe in a few more years she would get closer to dcc standards, but right now she's not anywhere near it.

I've checked some of her vids and she is AMAZING. She has more power than half the squad and a killer body! Finally someone else said it! I've thought I was going mad. Selina and Keyra weren't my faves (and honestly most of my faves have left the squad anyway) but you don't cut someone who has proven themselves just to get another blender and another 'overweight' (by dcc standards) dancer in. Quite honestly, last year I said that Dayton's cut was mostly to prove she wasn't getting things handed over. But again, just how many girls have gotten verbal, personalized feedback right after getting cut instead of just the note that Kelli is sending out to all dismissed finalists? She is miles ahead of VK, but she is too much of a blender, soft and at least last year it was obvious she wasn't comfortable in interviews. If she was just a random Dayton, she would never get a chance. That doesn't mean she won't improve, but most of the finalists would to if they were given a chance. As for Victoria, I don't care whether she has an attitude or not, because I can't confirm this anyway and at the end of the day it doesn't even matter. But as for her dancing ability? She has posted so many vids so please go ahead and check them yourself. I don't think anyone can say that she is objectively good enough for dcc, let alone that she was better than all the cut girls. I know it's just a random screenshot, but look at the faces the girls are making! Aaaand I miss Erica SO much.

I didn't like Erin last year, but I saw a video of her recently and oh my god... she's like a different dancer! I think her transformation is bigger than Madeleine's, as Madi had the same style but lacked confidence. Erin went from a stiff ballerina to dcc imo. Yes she still needs training BUT she deserves the chance. You killed me with the Gina comparison, but it's so on point!

I'd rather have Dayton than VK on the team BUT: you can't cut two vets, especially someone who was a "firecracker" over weight and then turn around and bring in a rookie who hasn't proved herself over a year like your vets, is soft and lacks power. Just doesn't make sense. so, they kept Christina who is still struggling with flexibility, doesn't have stamina and as much power as she should. They kept Savannah who is always behind and just isn't up to par with the rest of the team. They cut one of the very few remaining power dancers. They brought in VK who I'm sorry to repeat that, but she IS awful in dcc style. She has been trying to improve two years, how exactly is she going to improve in the next 8 weeks? At least with Dayton I can see her improving on power. I don't know what is going on with K&C lately, but it's their fault the squad is getting weaker and weaker.

I think she is hands down their best performer now. Lacey is the best dancer, but Kashara just has something special. Jessika looked equally bad last year though. I don't think they take vet solos that seriously to be honest. I was pleasantly surprised by Tara, Tess and Madeleine. Especially Tess as I would always forget she existed tbh. I don't think vet solos this year are weaker than usually. I did see mistakes etc but most of them were powerful and full of energy.

I am kind of expecting Selina to get cut, but at the same time Jessika last year was a mess and we all thought she was going to get cut and yet here we are... i think we will get one cut we are expecting (either Christina or Selina) and one quite unexpected.

Well that's what I was saying. Maybe awful was too strong of a word, but again: she has been going to prep classes for two years and she's still not good. I don't get if she's good in other styles, all the girls trying out and being cut from tc are amazing dancers. They still get cut if they can't dance dcc style. and back on auditions: i love interviews day just because i love seeing all the outfits!

The biggest criticism is that she has been taking ALL prep classes for two years and she is still awful. Girl doesn't have it and if she wasn't a legacy she woukd have been cut already. Plain and simple.

Well for me Selina isn't all that special. she's just one of the very few minorities so they might be a bit more lenient, but there are a lot of girls out there who can be good ambassadors and maintain their weight/perform better. I'm not saying Selina should be cut, i'm just saying that it doesn't always make sense. And I think they should be keeping their "blenders" who have already proved themselves instead of cutting them in favor of more blenders.

Raylee was going into her third year as well though...
