But again, they would have to stay on until they’re 26 at minimum to get to 5 years. I would hope that most girls at 25 start thinking about their futures more seriously. For the same reason she was always almost hidden. I loved her, but I’m quite sure they didn’t like her look. Unsurprisingly, none of the rookies is one of “her people”. As for standouts from last season: I think Rachel is seriously underrated. She’s outdancing most of her fellow rookies (1 yr vets, whatever) and she definitely has the girl-next-door appeal Dani had.

I rewatched the episode and I was SO furious when i heard this. Sutton had to fend for herself as a kid. She was on her own with an addict for a mother. She had no support growing up and still struggles. But yes, of course she’s so much luckier than poor Jane who grew up in a loving home with dad and her brothers. I really hate Jane after this season.

But then we wouldn’t be getting 4th and 5th year girls (we barely do now) and we would miss out on girls like Lacey and Holly. They should be tougher on them, but I don’t agree they should ban them from auditioning. I don’t understand that either, unless she was hiding it before she became a GL? As for GL in general, a few years back they had so many candidates for both GL and GL2 but now it’s quite obvious who’s going to get it and tbh, I don’t think this year’s GL are that great compared to all previous squads.

She has been trying to get the style for 2 years now. Ok, I’m going to say it. I guess that in Dallas dcc are famous or whatever. But being so adamant that your daughter does everything in her power to get on a team at 18 so that she can shake her body in basically a bra attached to sleeves and panties for older men, it’s a.desperate b.at the very least weird. She just doesn’t have it. Dayton isn’t the perky girl kind which I think is the reason she got cut and she got a far better gig based on skills (and not how hd her face is or whether she looks hot enough in the uniform). For the screen time... i doubt they honestly think their opinions matter but they definitely didn’t expect C&K to be so obvious. I won’t even argue that they’ve only invited good dancers (for the dcc style) into camp considering that they took Brianna last year-and I won’t even go further back to Morgan and beyond.But as for VK, I get that you’re trying to prop up someone you know, but if this is the best she can do after 2 years of prep classes and ‘having been brought up in the dcc community”...well I don’t have to add anything.

I had no idea this was supposed to be a season finale. I was so in love with this show last year but this season was mediocre at best. I don’t really feel like the story progressed at all. If anything, we only saw Sutton growing and they undid it with this finale (and I’m a Richard fan).

If VK did something terrible and they pull another Erica, I will haunt Kelli down and give her a piece of my (well, our) mind.

But what I meant is that these other girls were actually good candidates who git cut, so yes I won’t feel bad for a clearly wrong candidate who’s only making it because Kelli sees her as a daughter. She should be thankful she’s getting a spot that other, more deserving girls got denied from. I doubt she cares what we say either way. the only redemption point for me is that she probably auditioned for the experience and knew she wasn’t good enough and she may not like the preferrential treatment. It’s not snark directed to you specifically, but I don’t get why so many posters are talking about things they know without actually saying anything. I get that you don’t want to share confidential info, but if you can’t share it, you’re just making us pester you for details you can’t spill.

I hope it was honestly... if they cut a petite vet for “weight” while keeping a rookie is huge for dcc standards (i don’t just mean overweight -for dcc standards- but she’s tall and clunky like Caila after being cut), i would be furious. I get that they want VK on the team, but cutting a much better vet at the same time? Yes they’re just asking for backlash. Yeah, and so were hundreds of girls over the years. Are we supposed to feel bad for them too? I do actually because gIrls far better than VK had been cut, while Kelli is trying to convince us that VK is the best thing that has ever happened to this team.

Well, I think they do. But they want them to also act like they’re pure innocent girls while shaking their ass in a tiny uniform. She’s SO beautiful. Yes I’m bitter but I can’t believe she was cut when VK is still in camp. Oh I totally buy this. It’s really interesting that Shelly said her cut was unexpected-someone who is so involved and basically spends more time with the girls than Kelli, should definitely know how each girl is doing. Weirdly (for a lyrical dancer) I feel like she’s similar to Caila. They both seem heavy dance-wise as well as shape wise. Neither is actually fat-although VK is overweight for dcc standards- but there’s just something about them that makes them look heavy.

Exactly-she doesn’t have to be bffs with them to be on the rookie row. Please don’t compare Abigail to Cassie and VK. Of course they would put her front and center!

Yes that’s what I mean... if they’re trying for something bigger in the future, then yed dcc is a good stepping stone with the classes and appearances and I get the physical strain. But if your aim is to find a husband or just have a side gig, it seems like too much effort. I love you.

A bit off topic, but how can they add in any more workouts? I’m not even asking how it would fit into their supposedly full time job/school-tc at night schedule (it doesn’t). But they are dancing for 3-4 hours every night, plus any individual practice, plus GL practice. They’ve said before that they have mandatory workouts before that. They’re putting too much strain to their bodies for a part time gig.

But she’s not the first 18 y.o on the squad. Plus, the only photos I’ve seen of her throughout tc were with a vet, so it doesn’t look like her age is the issue. Are we going to get any leaks??? I feel so sad for Kristin. She is stunning and her vids are quite good so I doubt the issue is her not picking up the dcc style. If it’s memory issues, well they’ve taken other girls with memory issues so...

Thank you! I feel like I’m going crazy because I dislike her based on dancing-don’t care who her mother is or that she’s a legacy per se. I don’t see how she could be any better in tc when she has been this awkward in every single class she’s been taking in 2 years. Also, we have been commenting on the fact that she always pushes her way to the top and she totally got into the other girl’s spot, but Kelli acted like it was the poor girl’s fault.

I’m starting to believe that they’re using VK to make Cassie look better. It’s working on me and I’m known to be anti-Cassie. Also, I honestly think Dayton’s cut was undeserved based on Shelly’s comment of the cut being unexpected. Plus, she was always commenting to support the organization and K&J whenever we made ridiculous claims and now...she’s still here, still commenting but never to support them. I’m with her-if VK can make the team, Dayton should have been made point already.

I actually think that VK is a great storyline for them, so yes they would keep her just for that. To be honest, one more mediocre dancer in a team full of blenders won’t hurt them, so obviously they would choose someone they have a personal connection to AND has storyline potential over someone else. Look at how many comments VK has had, she is going to be feautured heavily on the show as well...

But she has been hanging out with vets (the latest I’ve seen is with Lacey). i can’t wait for the season to start-although, it seems like they will have one episode for each day of auditions again which i absolutely hate. Make finals one full episode (and actually show us more than a few seconds of dancing), but prelims and semis can be one episode.

Poor Taryn... I think they’re taking 39 girls this year. It makes sense considering how many stars they’ve lost& how few upper vets they have. I think Lacey, Kashara, Lexie, Miranda, Amy and Tess will leave-for some reason I feel Maddie will leave too. In any case, they have way too few experienced girls, so they need more rookies.

I re-watched some episodes from S1 and I don’t understand why Jane became so insufferable this season. Last season I thought Kat was the worst but she was still likeable. This season they are both awful but Kat is still better. Sutton was always my fave so I’m glad she’s killing it this season.

The photo is beautiful, but that’s not Kelli. That’s a photoshop version of her so honestly, i don’t know if I would be proud in her case. As for Lacey, her photo last year was amazing. They could have re-used that instead of that weird pose.

I don’t believe she was pulled for weight gain considering that they’ve had way too many “overweight” girls front and center (not even suspended for one game). Maybe it was a combination of bad performance and weight gain?but stil...

That’s what I mean. I want to see her manage her people (or person), working an event or anything really. Last season her work storylines proved that she’s not mature enough to think of the business and lead a department, so I want to see her thriving this season. Plus, what bothers me with Kadena drama is that 1.it’s constant 2.they’ve erased Kat’s bisexuality. Last season she was struggling with her feelings and this season she’s a lesbian sex goddess who wants to sleep with more women for the experience? How did she go from “i can’t get past ‘this’” to getting all the ladies?
