All this talk of #anygirl for point reminds of #ericaforpoint and we all know how that turned out, so I feel like we’re going to jinx it this time around too. Not sure if you mean it, but I don’t get how that was a bad edit. She probably isn’t as bad, but she either truly believes those things or is incredibly stupid if she thought that saying those things on tv would be good for her in any way. She does seem a bit too full of herself which in some ways is good, but on a team where dozens of extremely talented AND beautiful girls have come and gone, thinking that you’re all that when you have Paris Hilton facials is...funny. And if you need to add anything extra to outshine other, you’re not a true performer. That’s why I didn’t like Jenna at point either because for some reason her performance didn’t seem genuine. Kash for me kills it even if you can tell that she’s not the most skilled.

Kashara is always trying to get everyone to join her, while Gina is off doing her own thing. That’s a big difference. Of course some people don’t like Kash at point either, but I think most people just don’t like how she got everything seemingly out of the blue,no one had an issue with her bubbly personality before.

it’s not the first time i’m noticing this, but she’s always front and center in these videos too and doing her own thing (she’s the only one not stoping after the ‘up’ and doing a different pose looking directly into the camera at the end). I will never warm up to her and I hope that now that they have other choices she doesn’t get point just by default.

Well regarding Holly... even if that gig doesn’t bring her any new gigs, it still helps paying the rent. She doesn’t have to only take one in a lifetime opportunities, she just needs to work.

Jax was literally a dark haired Cassie. The resemblance is scary. Brennan looks like a different person. Miss almost USA can’t be stupid enough to do this publicly, so I assume she just turned Trump-orange from all the spray tanning.

Well she took all the classes Erin did. For 2 years, not one. And she wasn’t the first cut in tc, she made it all the way through. I’m sorry, but this is as good as it gets. But I have no doubt that Kelli will put her in the team next year.

I know that. I just meant that VK got so much attention and a lot of resources to deal with her issues, but they didn’t do the same for girls with less issues.

I don’t really feel sorry for Malena. She got benched from the freaking Jets and she decided to go for DCC without prep classes AND going for another ‘lesser’ team? I’m sorry buy she’s delusional. She could have tried for another Dallas team and go to every single prep class if she was really serious about it. I’m sad to see Lacey and Kashara go. At least this rookie class looks promising.

I’m late buut I’d say Heather, Kash and Bridget. I hope she doesn’t to be honest. If they had invested less time to VK, they could have talked to her about her lack of power. She wasn’t cut earlier so it wasn’t as severe as let’s say Savanah’s issues last year. She could have improved. And actually, had VK managed her weight, Lily would again be cut to make room for her (without explanation)along with someone else. She can do better. I also think Savanah will get cut next season if she re-auditions. I think she was being primed because she was the only veteran who had power and good technique. Her facials are terrible and there’s nothing she can do about it, so I can see another Holly H. situation. And I think Bridget ot Jalyn will end up in the triangle. Although if they get a lot quickly, neither will last long on the team. She looks like a different person...

Khalyn is beautiful and definitely a good dancer to be placed behind point, but as @ByTor said, I expect her to retire. She seems to be doing fine this year, but she was out for so many games last season due to injuries and even if she stays,I don’t think K&J would risk having her as point or even part of the triangle. I totally get what you’re saying! I’m just saying thay we have no indication that Jenn never tried or that she went out of her way to ignore her. For all we know, she suggested pairing Kash with Yuko because she knew Kash would be the perfect person for the job! With that being said, I don’t actually expect anyone going out of their way for Yuko, at least no more than what they would do for an out of state girl. That’s probably harsh and I don’t mean that they shouldn’t do that if they want, but it was Yuko’s decision to move continents to go to a new place without even speaking the language just to be a cheerleader. I don’t really applaud this decision, but at the same time I do admire people moving abroad for their studies or a job opportunity (or just for the experience). I just don’t count dcc as a job opportunity.

I really like Rachel and I don’t really get why she’s being so overlooked. She’s too far in the back for someone with her power and dance ability. But Kelli paired up kashara with yuko precisely because Kashara has that big shiny personality. We have no idea if Jenn tried to include Yuko or not, but even if she completely ignored her (which I doubt), I don’t expect the point to be bffs with every single member of the squad just to have the ‘honor’ of dancing up front.

I agree! I for sure see her in Gina or Khalyn’s position and depending on how many vets retite, triangle. Ok as a Kashara AND JenK fan, i honestly don’t think Jenn had anything to do with this. When Kashara made show group last season most people here said she isn’t strong enough. I kinda agree, in the sense that in her first two years there was absolutely no way she could beat out any of the girls on SG. So maybe Jen made a comment that Kelli took into consideration, but I doubt she was a contender in place of Jenna, Jenn, Erica, Cersten and the rest. Jalyn for point!

I like her too! It’s unbelievable that she made that much progress in under a year. I shouldn’t be bringing VK up all the time, but VK, pleasw work with erin if you’re only willing to work with girls who have ‘been there’. i adore Bridget too. I think next year (and depending on how many vets retire-i think almost all upper vets will) she’s going to move up to either triangle, or Khalyn/Gina’s spot.

As you all said, Tara’s cut was brutal. I wasn’t even a big fan last year but she always looked good. Yes, it was obvious that something was wrong in the previous meeting they had, but then Judy said she looked amazing in cameos and Tara said she was getting positive feedback. It’s obvious she was struggling with personal issues and they should have helped her instead of making it worse. I sincerely hope she doesn’t come back. As for VK, I can’t believe Kelli had the guts to tell her she needs to come back and she will get a uniform on tv. That girl literally lied about using the resources you gave her and blew off Jinelle. Even if weight and dancing can be improved (which I don’t believe, she spent 2 years attending every single prep class and a full summer of tc and she’s still bad or mediocre at best), lying and acting unprofessionally shouldn’t be taken lightly. And i’m sorry, but she’s not even beautiful. Her mouth is very distracting. as for upcoming cuts, Malena is the obvious one. Lily was kind of off on the field, but other than that I can’t see any other obvious cuts. Maybe that’s why Tara was cut... On a positive note, Bridget looked amzing at ‘point’ when rookies were dancing on their own. She’s so far up in the triangle, so I’m sure next year she’s going to be up front. Unless Kelli cuts her to bring back VK.

I’m surprised Rachel ranks so low; in most of the vets’ clips i’ve seen from prep classes she has actually been one of the best if not the best out of her class. Do you think her being demoted made her want to retire? And who else do you think (or know!) is going to retire? Looks like many rookies will end up in the triangle and up front in general next year. Well she became a group leader so it was kinda her job, but I do see why she might seem arrogant. I wasn’t a big fan in the beginning, but it does look like Kelli gave her lots of responsibilities and relies on her so it’s probably more that she’s doing her job than she’s being bossy because she wants to be.

How come VK suddenly has the best hair when they even had to ask her whether she is brushing them? I guess anyone’s hair could look good with extensions and professional help, but she won’t have that all the time. i loved seeing Jinelle assisting Judy! She could absolutely take over for either and she would make a great team with my girl JennK. They should keep Kashara around too. Loved the leaders meeting. They should be making these cuts honestly. And I agree, GO KASHARA. i didn’t like the choreographer and I hate his style. Of course he liked Maddie, she’s the only one who likes his spastic kind of hip hop. I’m glad he also liked Lacey and Kash. Bridget is one of my favorites and I’m glad she proved him wrong.

...How does being a bubbly 18 y.o who is soo curious about others excuse lying to your employer exactly? Because that’s what we were talking about. I don’t care if these girls are actual saints, we are watching a show about girls who 1.can dance (VK can’t, not that style at least) 2.act nice and yes ma’am Kelli no matter what (VK can’t do that either).

She already looks more mature (face wise of course) than 18 and I’m one of those who think she’s not all that pretty. BUT I think she will look stunning at around 25-30, as she will look relatively the same but it will match her actual age. And hopefully she will tone down the makeup as it doesn’t do her any favors. I’m not from the US so I don’t want to judge, but that’s definitely the reputation the south has won internationally... And just by observing dccs & alumna it does seem correct. I was I think the most vocal ‘hater’ last year when Shelly herself revealed that and I was pretty mad because #reasons. I doubt she would lie about something that could potentially make her child look bad. I don’t doubt it’s true and it makes sense considering that Shelly also admitted that Dayton’s cut was surprising-which is more in line with what we have observed here aka she’s killing it when on the background. Does it really take one year for someone to mature from lying to employers AND family and acting so childish at work and in front of cameras? She needs to finish college at least.

I think for a while now most girls have a more...young? vibe. I mean they are the same age as previous squads, but they used to look really sexy and more mature, while most girls now look young/fresh (Maddie, even jenna and Lacey) and more girl-next-door (like Danielle). I doubt it’s due to the #metoo movement though.

Oh I know, I meant why do we even consider this a plausible scenario. Of course Kelli would put her at point right now if she could so she will take her back, but that’s definitely not normal (fairness has gone out of the window anyway).

Why are we even talking about her coming back? Would they accept Chelsea back? No-and VK was much worse. She blatantly lied not to her employer alone, but to a person (multiple people actually) she considers family. You can’t redeem yourself after that- to Kelli personally maybe, but not to dcc as an employer. And if they can’t forgive their one superstar for lying (Holly) or their second best for something that no one would really learn about if she wasn’t cut (Erica), but you can forgive VK...that’s not just favoritism, that’s pure stupidness. Many girls were probably disappointed. Do you remember anyone else not performing well because of something so petty? Angela was the only one and was roasted, but she was a 5th year and that was her only goal-plus she knew it was her last chance. Is it really the same with a mediocre dancer who hasn’t even made the team yet underperforming because she thought she deserved it over 43 other girls? If it’s true, it’s really sad. Even though she has no leg to stand on considering that Cassie got gifted a long tenure with the dccs thanks to her, but in VK’s case she was absolutely justified... I love you! I completely agree. It was unfair that she won a Barbie. Oh, that’s not what she said.oops! Aaand she doesn’t even care enough to hide it. I do agree, but she’s also responsible for herself now. She doesn’t have to do as mommy says now and if she still doesn’t get how she comes across and what went wrong, it’s not mommy’s fault anymore.

She’s been in prep classes for the past two years-that we know of. Two years. Lacey was 18 when she made the team, lyrical background and with lack of power. And she’s killing it. Erin was the first cut last season due to having no experience in power dancing whatsoever, she took one year worth of classes and now she’s back and killing it. VK has had a lifetime of being around dccs and at least two years of prep clases and her problem is that she doesn’t have enough experience and she’s only 18? I so agree! And we’ve had so many 18 y.o superstars so it’s extra funny (or infuriating) when her age is used to defend her.

I don’t really get Paige. I think it was really close to the end of the season, so why didn’t she wait? I’d guess she knew she was getting a visit from CMT but they lied about the actual reason-hence why she was pissed off. Yuko is still struggling with English... Kashara is just full of energy. You can’t even compare her with Gina-not dance wise of course, although I definitely think that Kash has a sparkle that Gina (and most if not all the other vets) just doesn’t...

Jalyn for point! Hopefully Heather proves them wrong this year and stays for another-aaand gets point :)
