  1. I had a 51 pound pannus removed a bit over a year ago. It hung a few inches above my knees. I thought pre surgery that the first time I stood would feel off balance, but it did not. I'm glad I had the surgery, but I had a complicated of 100 staples across my lower abdomen popped out and I had a wound vacuum attached to me for about 5 months. I won’t go into graphic detail, but during the vac period of time home health nurses would come to my home to change the dressing. I mostly didn’t have pain, but one Sunday during a dressing change I experienced a 10-level pain. New muscle cells were growing quickly and got stuck to the dressing. But next change lidocaine made the process painless. If you have questions, ask me.
  2. This is a rare episode that liked everyone. Nice to see a supportive family.
  3. I always thought their weight flamethrowers added weren’t worth it. But I’m guessing on that. Personally I would rather have a self righting capability or the ability to operate upside down.
  4. My years of observing people like Angela has led me to believe that they think their behavior is the normal ones. I think it’s because they behave like their parents, grandparents, great grandparents, etc always have. The rest of us are too quiet to be noticed by Angela and her ilk.
  5. I guess I’m a prude. I don’t think it’s in anyone’s best interest to hear Angela sort of say the word “clitorus.”
  6. Just because Golden Retrievers were mentioned
  7. The timing of this episode really brought home how although some things have changed, we still have a long way to go.
  8. This show has gotten me on a Ford kick. I was looking at photos on Getty and found this picture of Betty Ford and Nancy Howe. It was labeled as “Photo Credit: National Archives. Photograph of First Lady Betty Ford and Her Secretary Nancy Howe Dressing a Skeleton for Halloween in the President’s Chair in His Private Study on the Second Floor of the White House, 10/30/1974,Series: Gerald R. Ford White House Photographs, 08/09/1974 – 01/20/1977.”
  9. I still watch the show because its “rhythm” lulls me to sleep at night.
  10. Me neither.
  11. The Betty Ford scenes got to me. I wish I’d been a bit older to appreciate her during her heydays.
  12. I would have liked clarification on if the woman leading the dance class was supposed to be Martha Graham. If they gave this information, I missed it.
  13. I’m new to watching this show. I spent most of March in the hospital because of a problem similar to what happened to Chris’s leg. My wound was much bigger and I actually had a diagnosis of gangrene. I’m doing much better now. The point I’m ending with is that unlike Chris, I haven’t gained 40 pounds in my recovery. I actually have been able to stick to my diet.
  14. For me, it’s just fun to have a team to yell “boo” towards. They’ve grown on me, but one reason I dislike them is the costumes.
  15. JJ is not on Pluto Channel 158 24 hours a day, but she is in it overnight for several hours.
