This show is a perfect example of a sitcom staying around past it's natural expiration date. BBT was lots of fun when it started and somewhere along the way it became something entirely different. It isn't funny anymore and mostly the attempted humor is pointed and mean spirited. The characters (Who I originally found engaging) are unlikable and barely seem able to tolerate each other, even the ones that are married to each other. I'm not sure if this is an intentional move by the writers or some failure on their part but either way, it's becoming a struggle to watch at all. It's a shame, really. I want to stay with it out of a simple desire to finish the show's journey but they are not making it easy.

Probably an unpopular opinion but I sort of enjoyed Paulie going after the guys like that. It reminded me of how nuts the people on this show used to be and how vicious they could get. The only part that was a bummer was Jenna going home so early. I will echo everyone else and say that the spacing of these episodes is ridiculous. Show more challenges, ffs.

S02.E06: Champs vs. Stars: Champs Caught in Cross Fire

I get why Production it doing it but watching the "Stars" sit back and gloat after each victory as if the game were not clearly rigged for them to win is getting a little old. It makes sense that the show would want their celeb guests to shine but damn, hide it better. I'm starting to role my eyes every time they announce a new "twist." -
This is the part where I check out of the Lethal Weapon experience at least until they start the movie remakes in 2022. I sincerely don't care whose fault all this drama and chaos is and I have no investment in either actor so this isn't about someone I like being fired. In my experience changing a primary star like this is almost never done successfully even with a team of talented writers and a crew that believes in the project. It's complicated and fan reaction is never easy to anticipate so more often than not it ends in failure. Unfortunately this is happening in the shadow of a second season that really struggled as far as the writing is concerned. The sheer drop off in episode quality from season 1 to 2 was stunning when you take a step back and really evaluate. Frankly my enthusiasm for this show has been waning all season, long before I heard about any behind the scenes nonsense. If the cast and crew had been adults I'd have given them the benefit of the doubt and hoped for a better season 3 but seeing all this? Naw, I'm good. To those of you staying, I hope they clean their act up and make LW amazing again for you.

I'm just going to say it, I hope they never get Walter and Paige back together. In fact, I'd be tickled if everyone on the show just forgot those two ever dated. This has got to be one of the clumsiest, most awkward and unconvincing TV romances I've come across in years. Please just let it die and move on. Happy and Toby adopting was pretty obvious but I don't hate the story. They continue to be a strong point for the series along with Cabe. The standout moment for me was when Sly pushed Walter. it was so out of character that it really highlighted how hurt and angry he was. Like the first poster, I'm definitely ready for a break from Scorpion. This entire season has been sort of manic and even uncomfortable at times. I sure hope they figure things out in the off season.

What the hell? That was so messed up and wrong. Why would the writers think this was in any way funny? This show is starting to get to the point where watching it is more a chore than a pleasure.

Is the actress that play's Nell pregnant? I noticed her screen time has been really reduced and they are starting to do that thing where they never quite show her stomach.

All I heard was he "moved back to England." I doubt we will get more than that. As to the episode itself, I thought this was probably the weakest episode of the entire series. If this were the first Flash episode I came across I would definitely not come back for more. Frankly, the people behind this one should be embarrassed about this effort. #Feminism

It's pulling me down!

This ep was a little uneven for me but overall I enjoyed it. The actor that plays Bruce is surprisingly good and he pulled off the quiet rage of Batman/Bruce Wayne pretty convincingly. Pyg continues to over-perform as a villain, he's damn creepy and for me he is a villain that Gordon should be matched up against instead of the Riddler or some of the others, who to my mind are all out of Gordon's league or at least should be. I think I would enjoy the ladies aligning more if it was just Tabitha and Cat. Barbara has grown very stale for me and its becoming more clear that she\s there because the show runners like the actress rather than any real need for her to be there because of the story. That plot gets a little forced when she is involved, which is a shame because the other two have an interesting dynamic. I'm a little confused by the reaction of fans to what's happening with Harvey and can only assume that many fans didn't read the comics. I've been waiting for Bullock's inevitable fall into corruption and the Gotham stink since day one. Harvey was talking about being in debt. Maybe the pill popping has to do with that.

Hunter has really grown on me this season especially after being little more than wallpaper in his first go around. In contrast I've grown to kind of dislike CM after always being fairly tolerant of her. It's always amusing watching Johnny go home. Even more so when you know he's about to hear he just lost his shot at a million. Jenna remains fairly likable but I'm getting a little bored with her. She seems out of place in a season that is supposed to be featuring the nastiest players around. Jordan and CM are playing it up so much that it seems to me that they're setting themselves up to be Rivals (teammates) if they ever have another of those. The whole thing between them is silly and feels manufactured. Camilla needs to go and not return. Honestly she's just a vile person and not the kind of villain that's enjoyable to root against. When she's on i just want to change the channel.

Another good one. I was a little thrown by Riggs and the manager. It's not that I don't get why he'd hate the man but his reaction was so intense that I expected there to be some kind of backstory about someone that Riggs used to know being abused. When they didn't explain the overreaction that subplot just felt incomplete. Undecided about the new cop and wondering what happened to the tattooed guy from season one. Will wait and see if he shows any more personality in the future. I too was a little confused by Roger's daughters reaction to watching her father save someones life while putting himself in serious danger. I missed the captain. I like Palmer but this result makes a lot of sense considering how they write Riggs and where his personal arc is. Someone that self destructive simply doesn't become stable and and viable quickly, if ever.

Really entertaining episode. I liked Palmer being back and the new boss could be a good addition. It had a solid balance of humor and action with some nice human moments thrown in as well. I think my favorite part of the episode was the captain, though. His interactions with Riggs and Murtaugh are always a high point but seeing him in the field was an extra treat. Would love to see more of that in the future. Two episodes into season two and I am starting to think that LW being a surprise hit in it's first season wasn't an accident. Looking forward to where they go next.

I had reservations about this concept when it was announced. Going by the pilot a lot of my concerns proved to be accurate. I'll give it a few episodes to find itself but if this is any indication of what Young Sheldon will be I won't be sticking around long.

I totally get the criticisms of this show but for myself, I take Gotham for what it's intended to be; pure campy goodness. I can mostly forgive the sometimes lazy seasonal writing when the showrunners deliver on the things that i watch Gotham for and they are quite good at that. With that in mind, I found this to be a very good season premiere. We got to see Penguin doing his self destructive best, Harvey snark, and both Bruce and Selena really coming into their own. Scarecrow seems like he'll be a compelling villain but that's no surprise since what Gotham does best is give life to the Batman Rogue Gallery. Some notable moments: Bruce becoming proto Batman was excellent. I totally agree that the actor's size was a surprise. He was just a waifish boy when this show started and now he seems almost a man. Victor Zsasz was creepy cool as always and he had more substantial lines. I particularly liked his stand off with Alfred and the pervy flirting with Tabitha. Scarecrow. It was just a flash but nightmare Riddler was genuinely freaky scary. Well done! Ivy's awkwardness continues to amuse me. The unsung hero's of Gotham are the theme and set designers. I cannot express enough how great a job they do bringing that much character to a TV show set. Gotham looks amazing. Overall grade: Solid B. As always, less Gordon brings a higher grade.
