  1. Maybe JFP will start doing stand-up and do jokes about her friend Kathy a la that Seinfeld episode. Hahaha!
  2. I didn't like DT as Billy the first time around. I don't think he should have been recast in the role this last time. That said, I think they have been writing things for Billy to show off DT's weaknesses and to poke fun at him. I think they have been doing this so they could easily fire him. Think about it, is the way they have been writing Billy the same since BM left? And with a nunuBilly appearing any minute now they'll be sure to write the character differently again. For one thing he will be duller, that's for certain. Word on the street is that dull is the new hip. ;D
  3. Heh, heh. Light roast? Dark roast? One lump or two? My other thought about this Ridge business is more mundane. His partial amnesia and befuddlement may just be that. This just may be a way to make Ridge fall in love with Brooke all over again. I was thinking that at first, and thinking that he was just picking up cues and faking remembering everybody, but it seems like he does actually remember everyone, especially the way he remembered Thorne. But something is off, like he knows who they all are but doesn't feel anything towards any of them. So then that's lead me to other thoughts that it is not really Ridge, but a look alike. And that brings me to ImpostorRidge on a nefarious mission. And if that is the case, then ImpostorRidge will fall in love with Brooke. And then when RealRidge, (preferably played by Ronnn Mosss), is rescued, he can fall in love with Brooke all over again.
  4. I'm curious about the doctor and his family that picked up Ridge and dressed him in white and kept him for two days, was it? Then released him back into the wild. Is that just a cover story for what really happened to Ridge? Was perhaps the only part of Ridge that was actually washed - his brain? Will Ridge be on a nefarious mission now? And is Deacon somehow tied to the bad guys? Will Ridge start doing bad designs in order to bring down the house of Forrester?
  5. I liked Manbrina and AssPaw together, they were like two slimy slithery snakes together. Very well suited to each other. What I did not like was that she was so young and was Victoria's retconned BFF! The relationship started out all wrong. And her entire premise of existence was flawed and asinine. And what I wanted to see in her future was a fling/romance with Adam and the consequences that would have ensued. Shades of keeping his wife's lover prisoner in the basement-Victor could have returned. It seemed like they were on that path, too. I don't know why they had to fuck it up. Didn't he date Nina for a while? I appreciated that they had two characters named John, just because it's realistic. Don't we all know at least two guys named John? Didn't he also date Jill? And I liked him as Cricket's mentor.
  6. Haha, don't try to make me like this stinky bedraggled Ridge. I wish Worf had taken over the role. He would be a true son of Stephanie and the House of Forrester. Kapla'!
  7. It was refreshing to see an episode about what actaully hapens on those boats when they are working. I couldn't hate Elliot and Jr. any more than I already do, so it was wonderful not to be subjected to them. Yes, their personal problems are sad. But that's not what I want to watch as the focus of a show about crab fishing. I will be watching a rerun of this episode. Can't wait.
  8. Keith was prompting Freddie to do his crab dance.
  9. I flove Deacon, but all that clip did was make me miss Ronnn Mosss even more! And Whip. I'm so bummed to hear that Ridge didn't come back recast. Even the mermaid didn't want this version of stinky Ridge. Well, I guess everyone can honestly say Ridge is all washed up now.
  10. Again, I thought I was losing my mind. I read part of that recap on the train this morning and then tried to pick up where I left off, but then after reading new stuff I was reading stuff I read before. I was all, how did I do that?! Anyway, Peach, I adore your recaps, but I will love you forever for all your "Goose" comments!
  11. I loved them! I went to a DS convention about a zillion years ago and someone had edited a video tape of all of the times there was a fly on screen. And it was playing on a monitor and listed in the program like it was some big attraction.
  12. I liked both actors, but of course have a soft spot for JK who really made Willie Loomis into the Willie Loomis we all know and love. When I watched the show again as an adult I felt so validated to see the other actor because even though I was pretty young when the show originally aired I thought that there had been a different Willie Loomis first. I only remember seeing one episode of Cagney and Lacey where JK brought out his inner Willie Loomis. It was the episode where they were being audited by the IRS, or something to that effect. He was a nervous wreck, he was our Willie Loomis. I went nuts!
  13. I always loved when she would pull out that piece of a chandelier, say "find the center of the crystal", and hypnotize someone.
  14. I always have trouble with the cbs site. It's very difficult and takes forever, if I can actually make it past the spinning wheel. And then when the commercials play the show sometimes never comes back. It's never been mac friendly. And probably my DSL is an issue too. I'm sure as hell not going to try to watch something on my phone - I'm not Elroy Jetson.
  15. Well, I'm bummed. TVGuide Network is no longer doing the weekend catch up. That's how I was able to watch the show. No B&B for SweePea. :(
  16. What you're asking for is the bunch of MWT under JFP's thumb to explain what the bunch of MWT under MAB's thumb wrote? That's like asking the blind to lead the naked. They're really not up to the task. I don't think these current MWT fools are concerned with anything other than Adam's fixation on Peanut and Manjaw. And by fixation I mean just that - a one dimensional fixation. And of course some obligatory revenge on Billy. Other than that I expect them to write him as a completely new character that no one will recognize. And with a new actor in the role no one on set will give a rat's ass about anything the character ever did or said. They may as well change his name too while they're at it.
  17. Alex Donnelley all the way! I was so thrilled when they brought her back, too! To me she's the real Diane. She's always been one of my faves on this show period. I'd say liking Tammin Suresux is even more unpopular than liking Yvonne Zima! And now I have to go wash my keyboard after typing those names.
  18. Isn't Little D with his grandmother, Becky's mom, at an undisclosed location in the dessert? Where Amber hid them?
  19. Same with the Viking princess, Sig's daughter. All this build-up and she was on The Bait more than the show, which she was barely on. I'm beginning to think it's The Bait & Switch.
  20. St3ph & Run, I wish both of your posts were broken into single paragraph posts so that I could "like" every single one of them. Thank you!
  21. @Cool Breeze - I think you just validated it. Still, if they do it it will be fun, if only for le snarque.
  22. I was somewhere yesterday where a TV was on around 1PM and I heard a familiar voice. I looked up and saw Lauren's mom. I was surprized since I hadn't heard anything about her coming on the show and it is so rare when she does. So I'm watching and I'm like who are all these zombie models with her? It turns out it was another soap. And, jeez, it was worse than Y&R.
  23. Can I just say, wow! Best mermaid po-em ever.
  24. Maybe Ridge has been rescued by the next love of his life - a beautiful mermaid. He can read her poems about sand crabs. Hopefully the next time we see Ridge he will be wearing a flowing seaweed scarf and be played by Ronnn Mosss. No ocean is big enough get TK clean.
