  1. 10 more to come...here is a 'guess' at the release date: https://yourcountdown.to/vikings
  2. Will have to recap my last 8 weeks of adventure...but for right now I must ask; Anyone else going to go see Wardruna on their North America tour?
  3. Thanks so much for posting that Spinxella. I loved the interview, and I love The Grimfrost company from Sweden. Also, really glad that the actor visited Bjorn's burial mound in one of the Scandinavia's homelands of Sweden. Grimfrost is one of my fav stores, have bought many things from them! :) https://grimfrost.com/ Thinking of buying the Grimfrost's TYR next.
  4. I hope you are kidding Ricky! LOL She didn't give the name of Frida (but that doesn't mean it wasn't her). Hopefully your family has been notified that she is "Okay, and is going to Make it" from what the specialist said at Landspitali a few hours after I took her there. It was quite a shock to me; I have made many woman pass out from my manly-modern Viking love making techniques; but this is the first case of catatonic shock! Hopefully she will recover fully soon, and not be sent off to Kleppur!! Either way; no hard feeling from her family I hope. I did have her sign the standard waiver though, right after she offered to buy me the first bottle of Surtur Imperial Stout. I will give a nice write up about my trip once it is over. April is also a very beautiful time of the year to visit here, good choice!
  5. Iceland...Just arrived in Iceland this morning after a grueling journey over the Atlantic. I am enjoying the company of a local while I enjoy the hot springs here: What are all you doing during our break from Vikings? Will write more later...
  6. Thanks for sharing Ricky! I agree with some of what the reviewer says, and disagree with some.... Just one person's opinion. We know lots of cool stuff is gonna happen in TWD's future; because it follows (basically), what is written in the comics. Vikings can still turn it around I hope...just cause I still love it don't mean everyone does; and unfortunately, it takes 'much love' to keep a show going.
  7. Son of the Norse's Recap: While you sit back and relax and enjoy the thoughts of this guy; I invite the guys to pop open a top of their favorite brewsky; and the ladies to "get a little comfortable", and relax with a short glass of their favorite Hennessy. To everyone; please click on the video below and listen to SotN's death song (Helvegen), as you read my thoughtful thoughts of the last episode of this seasons first half show: The tale of separate visions and blah blah blah.... AKA; The report to Odin as told by Huginn & Muninn:.......The visions of many, as told by the birds of a few.... Huginn and Muninn lay witness - First we see Huginn as he watches the slow drift of fog fall over the soon to be valley of battle and death. Even he gives note to the "song of the brothers" at the beginning of this saga. The song is carried by the mist, similar to sounds heard over vast still waters...and it is quite breath taking. Both HtB and FH sing out to each other. Their song is beautiful, sweet, and sad at the same time. Most of the major characters stand in awe of the beautiful song, While Huginn just sits and bares witness to it all, as he plans his report to the Al-Father (Odin) later that day. For those of you that do not speak "Old Norse", I have translated what they sang below: HtB: Is our love so fragile, and the heart so hallow, shatter with the words, impossible to follow. You're saying I'm fragile, I try not to be, I search only for something I can't see. FH: I have my own life, and I am stronger than you know; but I carry this feeling, When you walked into my house, that you won't be walking out the door. HtB & FH together: Brothers forever, face to face, my city your mountains, stay with me stay. I need you to kill me, I need it today. Give to me your hatred, take from me, my mace.... It made me drop a tear if I must admit... Visions of...Bishop Bad Actor - Thank goodness, that no visions were originated from this dude! He reminds me of my forum BFF when he gets all melodramatic! Visions of...Lagertha - Face paint like a ninja (or Arnold in the first Conan movie). Pull's sword slowly and you hear her first son yell; "Loose"! Vision of the small Mjolnir that her pappy gave her. Laggy says to BBA that; "you will be in heaven...I think I may die this day". As you watch this sequence, all you of knowledgeable viewers have realized by now that she is not talking to him, but instead, to the 2nd love of her life..SH (Astrid). After she kisses BBA (aka Astrid in her mind), she states; "Now I can die". Later, she see's Astrid on the battlefield and cries out; "I know you love me"! Astrid replies; "I cannot have this child". Our minds flash back at that moment to the puggy virgin, whale blubber boy that lost his virginity that day in the rape shack, but also impregnated the "queen" of Whaleville. Laggy runs her sword straight through the 1st trimester baby (2nd trimester?), and winds up killing her 2nd true love in the process. She kisses her lover goodbye; "Sweet Astrid". Laggy dies right then; you may not realize it, but she just died in this show (RIP Laggy). Her body is now devoid of life, and it rises with a look of; "I don't give a F*&^", and charges back in the battle! Visions of...BoyBand aka BB (Hvitserk) - BB kicking ass on the battlefield like he never has. The rage of his father is released through the strokes of his sword. Will he finally be interesting at last? ... prob not... His vision takes him on a flash back to the ship and him and Ivar talking about his change of sides. BB stupidly brings up not having kids and relates that to Ivar as well, and quickly finds a blade to his throat. He cries out for Ivar to stop, and he does. Back on the battle field, BB gets his butt kicked by a blow! He lays there and we wonder if he is off to visit snake eyes. He realizes he is still alive and jumps up and kicks ass and deals death like only a son of Ragnar ever could! Ubbe confronts him and when he goes for the death stroke, BB just glares at him and smirks...you know then that he is already dead inside. BB's demise is anti-climatic...who shall mourn him? Interlude of Torvi - Kicking ass and takin' names is her game...reuniting with her kiddies is her game. "Where are my children"?!!!! Draws sword and advances on Crazy "M". Crazy M steps aside...kids are okay...now that's a shock! Bjorn has a vision? - Battle, holding Sami Reindeer nut luver, kisses and hugs.... Later, battle and flashbacks. Finds dead step son, aka ugly step son, rocky D. of vikings, Borg's son (beauty is futile)! We see him weak and stunned to the core for the first time and he watches Ivar become invulnerable as not even one arrow touches him. He hears; "Charge"! Calls a retreat as the Francs to come in to mop up the sloppy seconds. Later, finds his 'true love' (of like 2 shows) dead, along with her ninja pappy. Good Riddance! Later still..."We must leave K! Sees his mom, who is already dead....grey (white) hair and all... Sami Chick no Vision - Rock on string, swing swing swing. Dad is dead, blood is red red red Chop to the neck, she is a wreck wreck wreck good bye bye bye Halfdan the Black (HtB), visions of sand - One of the better current actors on the show, holds his last scoop of sand. "You took me on a great adventure"! Did he experience something we didn't get to see on PG 13 TV?? He kicks ass like a true Viking on the battle field. His crayysee eyes forever etched into our memories. Sand through his fingers (and so are the days of our life), from empty battle field, to 10 miles outside of Mecca he is alone. I weep for him and he disregards his chance to kill FH as he walks up behind him. Instead he faces his deliverer from the waste of the dunes of life. His throat opens at the merciful quick strike of the only man that loved him.."this is life...this is death" are his parting sorrows. FH respects him as he kisses his battle ax... "I will see you in Valhalla"! As he dies, his bro truly mourns... The crazy, mad, psychopath journey of "M" - She sees a vision of the ugly step son (Borg's son) dead in the wa wa. Turns out it is just some drift wood...but not to her. She confronts the strong lil' children of Bj and Torvi and tells them another dreadful babysitter tale. She later visits the seer, who is near his end. "Ubbe will not be king of "K", but he also said that she will not be Queen (I think he meant ever). She finally leaves the seer instead of digging him up still from "the wet earth". He may be already dead. After talking to her he will be. Fair Hair and Skank Hair, one last conversation - "Cut my hair...would not cut my hair until I found my true queen", (believe that is supposed to be, not comb or wash my hair until king of all Norway). SH thinks she might die...knows she will. We see a flash to Laggy as she knocks out MutherF&&er's with a severed head. Meanwhile it flashes to ugly son as he gets killed by BB. Torvi goes mad as she see's her dead son. Laggy continues to have flash backs of her dad and the lil' Mjolnir gift........"Tor will take care of you always"! Ivar the polio-less? Walking and talking? Did this cat have Polio instead and just pulled off a F. Gump move? Regardless, he is still the current most polarizing character on the show. People love him, hate him.....doesn't matter. They still "something" him. That is what makes a powerful character! "How could you ever love me"!? He says this to BB (but in my heart he says this to many of the CVFs here on this forum at the same time). Back to Ivar, much later we see him as the Viking age Patton. "a true leader does not have to lead, but motivates the men to follow".....look it up!!!!!!!! Fearless in the storm of arrows "Don't be a coward, come fight me"! I think many will be terrified when they see the wrath that he can unleash. Meanwhile Muninn sees - Iceland, funeral grieving. A trouble maker spits on the most beautiful hand in Iceland. Promises for the promotion to 'lawgiver' (which is very similar to the title held by the lawgiver on this forum aka my BFF). Edge Jr, dead in da hottub! Flok's see's the future of war and strife...time to kiss the knife for the God's...fade to black... Overall - Head nailed to the tree with arrow, cool. Hanging girl dancing in the tree, cool too. Here comes Rollo...is he full of chocolate and caramel? LOL I really like the non-linear flow of the last show. I sat on my $800,000 honey badger, leather love seat in nothing but the beautiful skin and bod that the Gods gave me as I watched this show. Silent as a church mouse, my BFF Greeny watched me as I watched the show via our SKYPE connection. We did not talk, nor did I gaze upon him as we watched the final episode of the first half of the season together......but his heat and passion for me radiated through our internet connection...and I knew the world as we know it would be okay for another few brief moments in time, until the 2nd half of the season premiered.... Farewell for now my fans and devote devotees... I am available to answer all your fan mail in my private message box if you wish. If this post gets enough likes, I will post my journey that I start next week, as I Kayak across the most dangerous stretch of ocean that the world has to offer, as I make my way to Iceland to watch the satellite feed of the super bowl with my good friends there.... as we eat Lutefisk and drink mead in the shadow of the God's temple. BTW; Greeny, I got your PM; and no, you cannot come with! LOL
  8. Just wish it was a 2 hour mid-season finale....
  9. SotN Fans (judging by the size of my in-box this morning), are much more into sending me private messages for some reason (which I don't mind). My only regret is that I cannot grant every photo request or even the 3 "seeding" requests that I have received in the last few hours. Lastly, to answer one fans heart felt request to; "Please! Send me the snake skin loin cloth you wore in the Amazon"! .... Alas, I cannot. When I arrived in Manaus I actually cut up strips of the skin to use as currency to pay for my luxury hotel and first warm meal I had in days (last I heard those strips are now up for auction at the local auction house). Thank you though for your weekly visit; you should change your handle to "Sheknowswho" wink wink! :)
  10. Son of the Norse's weekly recap (in 15 acts) & Tales of a Modern Viking! **please note, glossary for all my "modern Viking Lingo" will be found after every section. This week I again start with the "tales of a modern Viking"! I landed in Miami a little while ago after several days of enduring one of the most grueling modern Viking adventures I have been on! After repelling down from my friends Heli (about 200 Klicks from nowhere), I made my way through the dense and dangerous state of Amazonas, on a mission to find and Swim in the Amazon river. I won't bore you with all the details, but suffice it to say I wound of losing my GICD due to a near 16 foot Anaconda deciding I would be a lovely snack! Needless to say; I grabbed the first thing handy (was setting up my GICD, so I had it out), shoved it down his maw, and applied my massive man hands to the act of crushing it inside his throat. The giant snake was more tenacious that even I expected and it took over 4 minutes for me to end his life. Taking his skin for a trophy; I stripped it and dried it as best I could in the moist conditions and fashioned a sort of loin cloth out of it after stripping off my civilized attire. For 1 and 1/2 days I traveled like that, with nothing but my snake skin cover, a two and a half foot long machete, and a small water proof pouch with water purification tablets inside. The stench of the snake skin must have worked; because as I closed in on almost 2 full days of hiking through the tropical rain forest, I found a low plateau that was somewhat dry and climbed a tree to pass out and catch a nap. I awoke to find a jaguar sharing the same branch with me; but from the smell of the snake, or the smell of my overwhelming manly musk, he did not attempt to molest me. On the 3rd day I was very excited as I ran into a tribe that had never had contact with the outside world!!! There were 17 comely females (ranging in age from 19 to 44), and no males when I met them (I figured the men were out hunting)? The were in awe of my appearance, my hair, my eyes, and other obvious attributes they could spy under the tightly fitting snake skin loin cloth. After a few hours, it was easy for a modern Viking like me to learn their very rudimentary language. The were called the "Kqrnqp" (close as I can come to the English language tongue). Their name meant the "Seldom sky people", due I guess to the heavy forest canopy over their heads daily. Their men had died many years ago in a tribal war and their biggest concern of their small village was that their race would die out. After much begging I agreed to "lay" with the tribe members that were in or still in the "womanly way". It turned out that all of them were. 17 hours later I had planted the 'seeds' of my future ancestors in all of them back to back to back; and thought it best to leave in the night as they all lay passed out and exhausted (besides, I don't think even one of them would know how to make me a sandwich). As I stole through the night I heard one of them rouse and call out; "Farewell NKTUDAN"! In her own language. Translated, it means "demi god who seeds the world" (how cute of them). LOL Needless to say; after all that excitement, the rest of the trip (eating a stingray while swimming in the Amazon; paddling side by side with pink dolphins, and being a guest MMA instructor at a friends Jujitsu studio in Manaus seemed rather boring). After catching a flight to Miami from the Eduardo Gomes Int. Airport; I have sat at the bar watching the latest episode of Vikings! My recaps follows (sorry it is so short this week, I have had a looonnnggg week)..... Glossary: GICD=Global internet connectivity device. Act 1 - Who will mourn the dead?: Watching the families await the warriors return to see if their loved one died. Very nicely done. I felt bad for the people in FH's village; the little boy at the end was probably the son of the viking who died with his eyes open. We then cut to Laggy's village to see the wounded and her going to see BBA in the tent. She asks him if he is a "switch-hitter" (but I don't think he caught the reference), and then she mentions that her Gods encourage loving the flesh (cannot get more obvious than that), and he finally catches on. You can see he is becoming memorized by her more and more every minute. Glossary: FH (king Harald fine hair), Laggy (Largertha), BBA (Bishop bad actor). Act 2 - Picnic table chillin: Not too much going on in this act; ITB chillin, FH stressing, and BB coming out of the blue with the whole Rollo thing. Bottom line; FH still counts on ItB's input for all the strategy. Glossary: ItB (Ivar), FH (see above), BB (boy band aka Hvitserk). Act 3 - Mr Mojo Rising: We cut to Flokiland and get to see a baby goat in an elevator, Edge talking with Floks about Bitcher Bitchersson, and that is about it. It is not along act, but sets us up for more later. Glossary: Flokiland (Iceland), Floks (Floki), Bitcher Bitchersson (Davin (sp) aka the guy trying to undermine Floki's every turn). Act 4 - FH & SK; A soap opera: It was kind of like a soap opera with them both talking serious about life and being happy. Being honest though; I really liked this very short act. I am growing more and more fond of FH, and a little (and I do mean little) more tolerable of SH. Glossary: FH (see above), SH (skank hair aka Astrid). Act 5 - Iceland's first Asatru temple?: Dog boy continues to be like his daddy and provoke the others. The dads step up to sling their axs and FFW steps in again to save the day. Floks watches in silence. Glossary: Dog Boy (Bitcher Bitchersson's son), FFW (Floki's future wife). Act 6 - Oh when the Francs come marching in, oh when the Francs come marching in: I have never heard in my life of so many French people running towards battle! LOL We are all bummed that Rollo didn't show up (maybe he is not contracted for this season)? ItB says they "may" spare Bjorn, with a twinkle in his eye... Glossary: ItB (see above). Act 7 - mmm mmm good, mmm mmm good, a bowl of steaming goats blood, mmm mmm good: We get to see the blessing of Tor's (Thor's) temple. The blood soup makes me hungry, but before I can say yummy, the jerk hole; Dog boy wastes it all on another act of "stirring up the shit". Floki almost loses his cool, but his new "cool hand Floki" attitude prevails. Act 8 - pimpin' like Ivar: BBA gets to do the pimp crawl like Ivar. He is hot for Laggy and she knows it. I love the line (after he blah blah blahs with her), when she says; "You really want to sin again"? You can tell that he is falling for her hard! He has "known her his whole life", which I think means "widows like her", but I really thinks she is different in his eyes. Not a crying, whining widow; but a strong sexy widow...and he wants her very badly! The lights go out and the magic happens. Glossary: BBA (see above), Laggy (see above). Act 9 - Torvi's new BAE & the worst baby sitter ever!!!: We get some more smooching action with Bug Eyes and Ub's. Then we see "M" be one of the most cruel baby sitters ever. Golly I hate this chick! Good writing in my opinion, that one character can stay hate worthy for so long LOL. Glossary: Bug eyes (Torvi), Ubs (Ubbe), "M" (that evil chick). Act 10 - Bjorn dumbfounded about Rollo's support: Really slow act. Bjorn pleads again not to fight; Ivar stands up to him/tries to kill (or capture) him, Fine hair steps in; "not our way"! I did have to yawn during this scene. Act 11 - Bee-strong my king, Bee-quiet my king, Bee-dead my king: The mentioning of the stinging and wasps was a clue to what was coming. The king swats a little honey bee and it's little stinger turns his face into a marsh mellow man. I did enjoy the death scene and his last words. I just don't know how he lived long enough to say all that if he was going into anaphylactic shock (my own life experiences show that people die about 10-15 minutes after an insect bite if severely allergic). Glad he just talked to his boys and not his wife really. Truly he couldn't stand her. Glossary: The King (ol' dead what's his name). Act 12 - My dad wanted to be a Farmer, part 17: I am sick of hearing about Ragnar wanting to be a farmer. He showed as much love for raiding, killing, and cheating on his wife; that I am beginning to doubt his love for kicking around cow pies. Act 13 - Like father like son: Aethelred is just like his father was. Bending to the will of his mother is just as bad as his dad being told to love his adopted bastard son by his father in law. I have no love for this kid. He is weak in spirit and in deeds. Alfred looks like a wimp; but we know he will be 'great' in the long run. I for one am glad we get to skip the boring rule of "Aethelred the mommy whipped". The bribed christian what ever his is, is just as bad. Act 14 - Crowning of girly boy: Aethelred the mommy whipped gives up the crown for his bastard bro. The only good thing about this story line is we might get to see Alfred step and be a man when he guts his jellyfish brother who wouldn't stand up to his "scarlet lettered" mother. Act 15 - Saving the best for last: Easily my favorite act. It jumps from one scene to another with a poetic flow that overwhelms the soul..... Alfred walks, the choir boys sing. BBA walking like a man now, has a look like; "You know it! I tapped that ass last night"! Iceland, the temple burns. Alfred close up; so much make up and duck lips you know he would be a star in a Turkish prison! Floki's shock while Thor's idol burns. Alfred's evil mommy has a smirk from hell (and then the Viking music starts in the background which is awesome). BBA continues to strut! Thor falls...Floki drops to his knees.... BBA drops to his knees in front of Laggy.... Alfred drops to his knees for a crown..... (all the simultaneous knee dropping was perfect, and not missed by the watchful viewer). Shock or Awe is on the face of Floki, Alfred, and BBA in turn. BBA pledges his life to Laggy after a night of "Reverse Norse-girl" took care of his 'sins'. Long live the king! Bee is still kicking (someone got a swatter)? Aethelred's hateful glare. I can't remember if I cried when I read about when dog boy died (sung to the tune of American Pie)...and a mother cries out to the night. While the mother's wail carries into the close we see a sceptre given to a new king; a sword returned to a warrior, and pain given to a faithful follower of the Gods... Can't wait until next week!!!!!!! In closing, here are some final thoughts in regards to things already brought up on the forum: Bishop to weak to dilly dally (probably got the same treatment Fair Hair got and didn't have to move much). Wood in Iceland? There is some; drift wood is also plentiful. Laggy's age. Who give a hoot! Woman now days have "good nutrition"? LMAO Big Macs, and fast foods! A ton of chemicals in all our foods! I could go on and on....The raw stingray I ate in the Amazon was healthier than anything we buy in the stores today. I will have to humbly disagree with my forum BFF "Greeny" on just this one occassion....wink! See ya'll next week CVFs!! (crazy viking fans). I am a stay at home this week...will sail to Iceland in 2 weeks and tell you all about it! :)
  11. Yes I am quite intuitive when I want to be. LOL Arrived in Bolivia a while ago. Currently at my friend's house awaiting his beautiful wife's home cooked meal. My friend is former CIA and former free lancer for some Bolivian "not so nice people". I am so pumped to "Go Viking" later tonight. He will be taking me in the next few hours via Helicopter over the border into the State of Amazonas in Brazil. We are aiming to have me repel out of the copter around 4 am (local time) into the rain forest. The target area is about 200 miles away from Manaus, and about 80 klicks north of Mamia. I plan to head by foot through the rain forest at a South East bearing until I hopefully reach the Amazon river somewhere between Mamia and Codajas. Wish me luck peeps...I might need it this adventure!
  12. Good Morning CVF! Alvajon, I have just read your comments while I was feeling the soothing sensations of overwhelming peace as I strolled through a special "mid night showing" of the beautiful Estuary in San Jose Del Cabo on my lay over to Bolivia; and you are correct! That is a splendid Idea! Just a moment.... ...sorry, I had to say thank you to my old friend Esteban Del Fucca for opening up the Estuary just for me on this lovely night at 2 am PST. You see he owed me a special favor from the time he worked in Chile at a very large Salmon Hatchery down there. It is a heart warming story that I will share now as I ride with my escort back to the airport. I was hiking through Chile with my kayak over my head after arriving at Concepcion that morning...I had just spent several days kayaking over 2000 miles from Easter Island where I had spent 3 special days sunbathing nude on an almost isolated beech near a giant Moai statue; while local Rapa Nui hotties fanned my glistening body with woven fans they had made in the honor of my arrival. Anyway; I heard this scream near the parking lot of a large Salmon hatchery; it turns out that Esteban's wife was visiting him to bring him lunch during his break. Rosita (his wife), was only 8 months pregnant, but she was having triplets and went into labor right there in the parking lot! I ran over to see if I could help them and they were both in a panic as Rosita cried out in Spanish; "The babies, they are coming"! Of course I offered to help the desperate couple. I poured some sterile water (that I carry always for just such occasions) over my hands and washed them. Minutes later, 3 healthy boys were cradled in my arms. I checked them over real quick to make sure they were okay and then sat them all on the mother's bosom so she could start bonding with them. Esteban, who was in tears, hugged me and said he was going to name all 3 sons in honor of his new friend and savoir. I checked with him this morning; and his three, now 12 year old boys (Grim, Tori, and SotN Jr) are all doing great!!! As for your idea on the legend; here are a few for this weeks post above: CVF/crazy viking fans, GICD/global internet connectivity device, Green/the poster on here that is called Green, ItB/Ivar the boneless, BB/is boy band aka Hvitserk, Ub's/Ubbe, HtB/Halfdan the Black, Bj/Bjorn, FFF/Floki's future wife, FH/King Harald fine hair, and SK/Skank hair as in Astrid. That is all I have time for now...I have arrived at the airport and the locals here at the terminal are gathering around me to ask if I can be in their selfies. See you all later my friends!
  13. Thank you "Ricky", you have earned the first Token!! :)
  14. Son of the Norse's Weekly Recap!!! ...Oops, let me put my loin cloth back on... It's that time again fellow CVFs! For the moment you have all have been waiting for! Due to popular demand (via the many private messages you all send me), you have requested first a weekly recap of my adventures and travels prior to my recap of the latest Vikings installment; so here goes! Today I just returned to the homeland; I have spent the last 5 days in the hills of Bad Tolz, Germany (being an independent world traveler, I like to visit different locations every week). I was able to watch the show with my helpful GICD (global internet connectivity device) that is always by my side. The night of the show I was relaxing on the tallest hill of Bad Tolz, without another soul within many miles. As I lay there in the snow, completely bare except for my bear skin loin cloth, I gazed up at the stars. I prayed to the Gods for wisdom, and my sincere hope to one day rival the true brilliance of GREEN (my favorite CVF) and his many insightful words of wisdom. As I waited for the show time to start I had a vision and saw myself as if from above. I saw myself, as the Gods above would see me. My sun bronzed body contrasting against the pure white snow. As I gazed upon myself, I could see why so many people have worshiped me from afar; Bronzed skin, Piercing ice blue eyes, the torso of Rollo, and the buns of Achilles (as played by Brad Pitt in Troy). I prayed that if there is such a thing as reincarnation, that I truly wish to come back as myself! LOL After leaving Barveria, I hopped on a private jet headed the long way home over the Pacific, and stopped off in Apia for a quick Coconut cocktail.... and at last I am home again. Hope that makes all of my fans happy, now on to the recap of the week!!! The Joke Recap, in 11 Acts: 1. Lil' Ivar? - WTF is up with ItB's hair do? Next thing you know he will have gold teeth and wear his solid gold Mjolnir pendent that is big as a piece of toast! Please lose the hairdo! Boy Band (aka from now on as BB), wants to kill Ub's for fame? Seriously? He is not that important yet to garner any fame. Liked how FH tries to protect his unborn by looking out for SH...the line about; "the Gods choosing SH" made me ill though. If the Gods chose her, I need to change my faith LOL. Finally, thanks to GREEN, I will add a new nickname for the Bishop. BBA (bishop bad actor) is a great handle, thank you o lord of the forum! The aerial view of Whale-Blubbersville was awesome though! 2. Walkin' like Pimps! - Laggy and her posse strutting through K, was awesome. Not too worried about Blah blah blah baby sitting. She showed no malice on her face. Like HtB's response to Bj's question about killing his bro; "sometimes trees have to fall in the forest". 3. Flokiville part 22.5 - The Raven on Flok's shoulder was very Odinlike. FFW continues to stand up for him no matter what (she is going to throw herself at him very soon me thinks). Don't know why Bitcher Bitchersson calls Edge Flat Nose? His nose isn't flat to me. Best line of this act (and maybe the whole show), was Bitchersson's comment; "I think Floki deserves to have his ass licked". I almost choked on my crystal glass of Courvoisier when he said it LOL! Lastly, it is obvious that peeps are taking side...might we have another civil war on hand? Where is Tony Stark when you need him. 4. Battle lines - The two groups gather at the river, over the hills and valllleeeyyyy. Bj and HtB meet with FH and BB. Decide that they shall meet on the morrow; exchange prisoners, but no blows yet. 5. Meanwhile, back at Laggy's camp - Drop the Mic moment of this show is when Bjorn says about the Bishop; "He will do well to stay out of MY WAY"! Loved it! Looking at a close up of HtB's hair do, I personally like it. Very carefree, yet focused on modern Viking style. Lastly, I enjoyed BBA's prayer this episode, even though he (the actor), still sucks! 6. Bringing our lounge chairs to war - Ubbe pleads for forgiveness (he's scared). Liked Laggy's idea of combining forces....if they did, the GHA would look like the little Rascals compared to that group. SH continues to gross me out. You can tell by Bj's words that both sides know that ItB calls the shots for his side of warriors. Laggy's usurper line seemed awkward. Ragnar crying in Valhalla, I think not...never really showed much love for the kids anyway in mho. Ivar shows true emotion when he talks about regretting killing his snakey eyed bro. When he said; "I can't kill my bro's", I believe on the inside he is truly sincere (at least when it comes to killing them himself). 7. Pourin' out one for the homies - FH is pissed off with the meeting of leaders and wastes some perfectly good mead. When ItB says; "I can't brake my promise! Of course I'm going to kill her", it gave me goose bumps on my bum. You notice the fear in Ubbe's eyes? They start to look like they are going to throw down as a group with their pointy HS spirit flags, but it is put off for another day. You get to see SH looking longingly at her real love; Laggy. You can tell that she wishes that she was with child with Laggy, more than anything else in her world. Lastly, HtB deserved to be punched after really hurting FH's feelings of brotherly love. 8. The King and his son (aka; ol' what's his name?) - King and son continue to play fight against other peep's that don't want to hurt them.Alfred continues to show his intelligence, and "building ships" is a bright idea. King saying "My Son", is just a dagger in Alfred's heart, who is quick to point out; "he's not my father". 9. Stroking the Raven - Floki continues to stroke, while his future wife continues to worship his every word. 10. The Battle Begins!!! - Ivar decides what the battle plans will be for his group. He is smart staying where he is. He is like the king in Hnefatafl who wisely sends out his pawns to sacrifice themselves to make room for his victory move. He sends BB to the woods (did Ivar know what was waiting there..mmmm?). FH has SH thrown on a horse like a punk. Both groups "war faces" were fun to look at, even though Bj's early on face was less than intimidating (it got better later on). No shield wall for either side; just "Attack", did seem out of character. BBA shows his skills on the battle field, and gets his fill of "heathen blood" for his god's justice. Was not impressed with the Sami's gorilla/cowards attack. Do they not wish to go to Valhalla some day? Everyone else kicked ass as well, including Laggy and specially FIsh Eyes, who was kicking major A! I wish Ugly son would of got split in two in his first melee, but no such luck. That one shield maiden who got Shield stomped, was gruesome to behold & the arm falling half off thing was pretty sick as well. Ivar showed he is still a smart leader when he said it was; "Too late". He recognizes more than peep's give him credit for. Did you see how many died on the battle field? Civil war is such a bad and bloody thing. You know he is telling the truth when ItB says; "They will regret this day"! 11. The pretty sword - Laggy likes the sword and saves BBA from death....and the show cuts to credits way too soon....
