Yeah, I get the coverup but I don’t get the logic behind the “undercover” assignment. Why would “Laurel” be able to go undercover and win over criminals’ trust? No criminal would go, “yep, lawyer and (former) vigilante, let me let you into my inner circle.” Laurel is a public figure. ETA: The mayor should be all over this, considering how much she hates all of the team and since it’s probably time for her to pop up and complain about them again. It just wouldn’t work even if Laurel had really gone undercover.

I'm not even going to try to understand Laurel's redemption arc. Started out evil. May or may not have killed people during this episode (wasn't paying attention, but don't actually care?). Then good enough by the end of it ... in the span of, what, 2 days? ... to basically be handed the BC mantle. Not surprised, but nope. (Did appreciate that Laurel knows she's not worthy of it yet and is going to try to be good.) The Olicity scenes were cute, but we deserved more of them for sitting through this episode. Loved seeing Sara again, but could've done with more Felicity/Sara. Appreciated most of what Sara told Laurel. Now for the FFs. HOW MANY CANARIES ARE THERE? I think I'm counting at least 20? 10 dead, 5 missing, Dinah, Zoe, Laurel + her two side canaries. Future Laurel bugged me with her "you're not a hero yet but you can be" or whatever she told Mia. I was too distracted by the wig to pay attention. Was it just platinum blonde? Gray?

I don't think I've seen a faster redemption EVER.

If Laurel does stay evil Black Siren, can she please get a new suit?

When Oliver comes home, Felicity should probably leave this part out of the recap of what she's been up to.

I'm pretty sure I know where this is going with Laurel and her old friend.

So does Dinah have her BC suit hanging in her office since she didn't return to the bunker?

Actually, Felicity, Laurel is right. Lance just wanted his daughter back. He tried to turn this Laurel into her, which was just creepy.

I swear I've watched every single scene in this episode so far, but I've already completely forgotten everything Laurel has said/what she's doing.

Arrow really did give us an Olicity scene to try to draw us in, much like it promised us that Olicity scene in the Dragon episode promo. I'm not surprised.

I feel like the Arrowverse can never decide whether or not this Laurel is a skilled hand-to-hand fighter or not.

If it’s true that JH is only in half the episodes — that’s still just a rumor, right? — they can have one BC tag in the other in season 8. Laurel can even take over Dinah’s SCPD job (if she still has it) since she was able to pick up law so easily. Leading a police department should be a piece of cake. Give in to the ridiculousness. I won’t be surprised if KC is in multiple episodes of S8, but I doubt she’ll be in enough to be part of any team (with or without Oliver). I’m fully expecting them to piece together episodes based on actors’ availabilities. There may not be anyone who’s in all 10.

Yes, give me all the Felicity/Sara scenes, especially to make up for that crossover where they basically only walked off together and we didn’t see them talk at all and the other crossovers where they didn’t interact at all. I may have been annoyed by how much Sara was in S2, but I do remember really liking a Felicity/Sara deleted scene and wishing we’d gotten more of their friendship on-screen.

Happy Roy is back in the present. But other than that, don’t really care about this episode after reading that description.

Love all the photos EBR is posting. SA’s posts are killing me though. Pretty sure he’s going to miss EBR more than the entire fandom combined. (Also, I’m going to need at least a day’s break from any more emotional social media posts.)

Maybe it’s just me, but I find it ridiculous to have them visit E1 Laurel’s grave and have any sort of emotional conversation. “Here’s the woman whose life you decided to take over back when you were a villain (but we pretend that didn’t happen)!” Though I fully expect someone (probably Sara) to tell this Laurel that that Laurel would be proud of her and happy she’s there to continue her legacy or something stupid like that. They could’ve done this redemption well, but I just don’t expect that to happen in 718. (Also, it’s ridiculous to watch 712 again — repeat airing now — and see Laurel talking against vigilantes and hiding behind masks only to see her wearing a mask in those finale set photos.)

Yeah, I just checked my Amazon account and they're all available except for 715. The 717 description on Amazon is even more amusing than The CW's (as in, what episode did these people watch?):

If we ever meet or hear of another Laurel (not that I think we will), please let her never have even heard of Oliver Queen. I still can’t believe they added that unrequited love part to Siren-X’s backstory. That was completely unnecessary.

Yeah, I don’t get that. I like telling her (and NTA) to shut up, but how is it Dinah’s fault — while she was pinned down — that Laurel used a meta cry powerful enough it could kill someone with healing abilities?

Especially since the SCPD could turn on them/include members of the Ninth Circle and they also likely wouldn’t be as useful in a finale battle as someone with a meta cry. Plus the mayor could always decide to order the SCPD to stand down/take a vacation/focus on arresting the team.
