I think he commented to someone at a con that they'll like Oliver again? Or something like that? That was one of my problems with S5. I didn't like Oliver for most of it.

What I don't get is did she think she wasn't doing a panel at all? She's been to enough of these to know the general plan for the weekend - panel, autographs, photo op.

It could simply be because Oliver's 5 years away FBs are over.

I'd rather people @ the people asking these questions and tell them to stop asking about something from the comics when it's clear the show has moved away from that.

Maybe they decided that they must have the same person officiate both weddings during the crossover (for some really stupid reason?) and we should just be very, very grateful it's not going to be Ray.

I really don't think Arrow would do a love triangle once Olicity is married. And since that seems to be happening soon... I'm not actually worried about ever seeing Oliver/Dinah or Oliver/BS onscreen.

The best thing they can do is keep what works - OTA and the B team. I liked the dynamic we got with Dinah, Rene and Curtis at the end of season 5. That worked. Dinah trying to be the leader of the team? Nope. Not going to work. She's the newest member. Pretty sure everyone else should be the leader before her. Unless with whatever's going on with Diggle, he doesn't feel he's in the right headspace to lead the team?

YES. If they put Thea in a coma at the beginning of the season, I really hope it doesn't last too long. I want her awake by the MSF the latest.

All I know is I really can't wait until the premiere airs and it doesn't seem like they're going back and forth between "everyone could be dead!" and "Well, we have X coming up for Felicity, X for Diggle, etc." I think that's also based on the timing of when interviews are being released - some could be from around SDCC and sites are just putting them up now. But it's still frustrating. At this point, I'd rather get something about ME's character (seriously, just tell us he's Cayden James or not Cayden James already!) or KA's character. I'm just sick and tired of hearing about Oliver and William, BC, BS and Slade. I wonder if we'll get anything from HVFF this weekend.

There's nothing new in that producer's preview. It's basically, "We're still going to have flashbacks (except when we don't). Black Siren is a villain. And an old friend of Oliver's* even though they didn't meet before she tried to impersonate his actual old (dead) friend. Black Siren is a villain. It's hard to do crossovers with Supergirl because that's another Earth. Flash villains don't really work on our show. Except for Black Siren." *It's the same exact quote from that preview a couple weeks ago and I'm just as annoyed hearing it again as I was the first time

This is what I call smart promotion.

The problem starts with the question really, and the question is basically, "GA and BC are together in the comics. Since you're BC now..." Frankly, it's somewhat insulting because it's not even taking into account the Dinah part of her character, just the BC part of it. If they hadn't called her BC in the finale and debuted her costume over the summer and all that and had instead said, "no, we're giving Dinah this other code name," they probably wouldn't even be asking JH these questions. But I've resigned myself to having to read questions like this about GA/BC until the show ends. Comic book sites will probably even be asking them while promoting the Olicity wedding. "So, Oliver and Felicity are getting married in the next episode. We just saw photos of Felicity's dress. But in the comics, Oliver and Black Canary are married. Will we see that in the future?"

I do find it interesting that JH keeps saying that she doesn't think Dinah's ready for a relationship when she's getting a LI this season. I really can't wait for Oliver and Felicity to get married, even though we'll still get these kinds of questions even then.

Shouldn't she technically give the same answer she gave when asked about Diggle and Dinah? From the Spoiler Archive (thanks @tv echo):

You know, I wonder how much of the Barry and Iris we're going to get at the beginning of season 4 is partly because they want them in the right headspace to have a bachelorette party in 405 and get married in the crossover if that does indeed happen. And if the annual crossover happened after the midseason break (say around episodes 12 or 13?), that would have changed things.

But how long could BS pull that off? Would she just be trying to ruin E1 LL's reputation? I can't see her playing "good" for too long. Also, as mayor, Oliver could give the press conference. There are multiple people in positions of power in Star City who can go, "Uh, no, not Laurel. She's still dead. Check her grave." So I don't think that could last very long. I feel like it's something they should show in a FB to the months between the island explosion and when we pick up with the premiere if they do it, not something they decide, "hey, BS has been walking around Star City for months, close to a year, let's address this now!"

Don't forget fighting BC on a street. Apparently no one is going to be around whenever BS is. At all. As in no one close enough to even see a glimpse of her. And don't even ask about any security cameras. All off. All pointing the other way.

Well, I will say that I'm glad they're at least showing that BS is a villain in all these trailers. If we can't get the characters we want, let's at least shut down all talks about redemption for her. And at least she's not going around in her "look I'm totally E1 LL" outfit. Yep. Although what does that say about Oliver (or his relationship with Myson I guess?) if that's what he thinks Myson is like - especially after months with him in his life? And if it's not a nightmare... as little Myson on screen as possible please. I cannot deal with too much of that. So maybe I should keep asking (begging) for glimpses of Felicity, Diggle, Thea and Lance and we might get something?

Question somewhat inspired by the new promo: Do you think the team has just given up on having a bunker that's secure? BS knows where it is. Anyone can get in. The promo shows an explosion there. Season 4: "Darhk probably knows where the lair is. We need a new one." Season 6: "Everyone knows where the bunker is. One of the villains terrorizing the city has even been inside (even though we had just changed the codes after finding out Evelyn betrayed us and that was never addressed). Oh well. Whose turn is it to clean up the latest mess when someone inevitably breaks in? Newbies! You're up!"

They're already giving interviews about what's coming up for Felicity. We know she's on The Flash this season*. They've talked about Diggle and conflict with Oliver. So why not give us glimpses of them in the present - even something quick? These promos could easily be better. But instead, they look like they were all put together around SDCC when they were only discussing Oliver and William, BC, BS and Slade, and are just releasing them slowly - which doesn't make sense with everything we've learned since. Or the promos make it look like the premiere will be centered around those characters because they're going to drag out everyone else's fates. You know what? I'd even take a glimpse of Raisa at this point. Just give me something different from what we've been seeing since SDCC. *I really do think we'll get a Flash promo with Felicity in it before we get an Arrow one with her in the present, simply because Flash could put out a "this season on" promo after its premiere and Arrow could still be pretending she's dead in those two days between the two shows' premieres.
