Just realized I misnumbered last week's thread. I type these on a device and sometimes typos happen, sorry. This week: Nothing on Team Gai. (At this point, my bet is that they show up to save the day at the end off this fight, with a flashback about how their doubles were defeated.) Kekkashi manages to catch up and talk some sense into Naruto, after showing off his own Shadow Clone skills. (I always forget that he's my favorite ninja, at least until he's back on screen.) Maybe now that Daedara's out of clay, we get to see what other tricks he has - maybe involving his eyepiece? Meanwhile, Sakura shows in a montage that she can kick, punch, and heal - including two extra doses of antidote. Unfortunately, she learns that with Sasori, it's puppets all the way down. He's made a puppet of himself, and unlike the almost simultaneous Franky storyline from One Piece, Sasori was able to reach his back. I'm guessing we won't get to see how he did it. You'd think that having ones' own body marinating in poison would be problematic, but I suspect Sasori has spent his lifetime building up an immunity to Iocaine powder. My only complaint about this episode is that it relies on the Shonen time dilation effect - the total time of the episode was about one minute, by Sakura's count. Even ignoring the time spent with Naruto, that seems quite optimistic. Why not just say the antidote lasts for only ten minutes, and roughly approximate real time as aired?
