    It was watering. I think she was wiping away the tears. Poor thing. Her eye was puffy underneath as well as on the eye/eye lid.

Those girls need to brush up on their DCC knowledge, watch some old seasons and start reading here. It seems like this is the first season they had ever seen, they had no idea who Gina was, they had no idea the team picture is taken after the squad is announced and they wrongly thought there was a different appearance squad that Malena would be on (no ladies, there is an All Star team though but only vet DCCs are on it). If you are going to recap a show, make sure you know the show. They do seem to have a good dance background at least. I will try a few more episodes just to see if it’s better in those. 

    Agreed. I tried listening to two episodes and couldn’t finish either. They don’t know what they are talking about.

    I'm not sure how much time has passed since the Jets photo, but she's obviously lost a significant (for her) amount of weight.  One of the "cons" of being under weight is it makes you look older (IMO). The face makeup in the Jets phot is the same shade as the rest of her body.  However, in the DCC photo her forehead is shiny and her face make up is extremely pale compared to her belly and darker legs.

    For me, it’s that stupid center part. Side parts are way prettier. Jalyn, please change your part. It will look SO MUCH BETTER.

    Exactly. I do feel there is another reason she is leaving other than her appearance. She a fucking star.

    I got the same read on it.  Lots of talk that she was last vet called up for training camp due to weight at beginning of season.  I've noticed her struggling with it on and off.  Pure speculation on my part, but they might have nicely hinted to retire with grace or she just knows too hard for herself to maybe keep that up another year. 

    I bet it has to do with something at home. Her weight? I would bet not.

    Watch the video. It’s hilarious. I didn’t realize all that noise was from the pigs. 

    And yeah, I want to go as well. I guess Sundays are the day visitors are allowed. I love how they show how to hug the turkeys and where they love a good scratch. And there’s a goat who welcomes everyone.

    Ha! I watched a recent video by the Gentle Barn (farm animal sanctuary near Los Angeles) and it was feeding time for the pigs. Man. Okay! We get it. You’re hungry. We’re hurrying! SHUT UP! When the food was placed in front of the little darlings, all was well again. Jeez. So much pressure!

Now that they are under the Cowboys.com umbrella, the web team obviously treats the football team as the priority, which makes sense. Unfortunately it seems like the DCC portion of the site is an afterthought. It gives the impression that the DCC just aren't that important to the parent organization. Or that the DCC are famous enough that they don't really have to invest any effort. Updates are minimal beyond uploading small galleries, which takes little effort. The roster is the bare minimum you need to have for the squad. The images have been available to the team for months. There is no reason why it should be published as a slapdash haphazard mess.

    I think TPTB thought it was a waste of money for the DCC to have their own site, so they fired the website people and incorporated the site into the Cowboys site. It’s awful.  All of the complaints are warranted. They had a dedicated person who did everything on the DCC and she was great. The site had a place for the girls to write stories and experiences (Jackie Bob’s were the best) and they got paid a small amount of $ to post stuff. 

    What a colossal mistake.

    Ashlee’s look pretty damn great. Did you see her at the end of the kick line? She looked like she almost hit her nose.

    Whoever you are that pounced on Brennan when the squad was announced, I just love you.

    Ashlee being at the end of the kickline: it’s big deal. She has beautiful kicks, looks great in the uniform and is adorable. I’m really happy she made the squad.

    Was there supposed to be a tryout for a Megan Trainor (sp-?) video or performance in this episode? I was glad there wasn’t. There was time (and a lot of commercials) to go through the season and some of the girls (not enough of them) and watch them dance, which I kind of liked. It gave me a better sense of squad. 

    Judy crying talking about Lacey was really sweet. Kelli giving the girls compliments and crying was sweet. I’m a sucker, I know. 

    Yeah, I do not look forward to next season if VK comes back (I still can’t get past that she cannot close her mouth...her teeth are that big) but I will watch. I just know I will. 

    @SmpIsimon - I for one will miss you.

    It’s not like you can’t understand what she is saying. If has something interesting to say, who cares about her accent?

I also just learned that the PhiloTV carries CMT and has included DVR. Theirs is about $16 a month. Both show the episodes OnDemand the very next morning. I got tired of Spectrum having constant disputes with CMT and locking the episodes from customers. I do have older seasons on Amazon but chose not to buy this season for obvious reasons. I managed to record season 1 using my computer HDMI to TV. But honestly, CMT /DCC are really contract crazy to me. Why don't they just remaster seasons 1&2 for us to purchase? They change the songs on Amazon. Literally, a song heard on one episode can be completely different watching that same episode a month later. Has anyone else noticed that? In fact, sometimes I swear certain clips or small parts change out to.

    The 2-hour special, Season 1 and Season 2 were never cleared for dvd meaning, those deals were not struck at the time so I don’t believe they can go back to all those people to get approvals...please someone tell me if I am wrong here. That was always my understanding of why they are unavailable on iTunes/Amazon. Although I think a dvd of Season 2 is available on a website. Anyone remember the name??????
