  1. When Charles Blake told Tony that he was more comfortable with Mabel than Mary, I thought it was just Julian steering us again as that did not come across on the screen.

As a side note, Andy Smith, your profile picture is awesome.  “In what Blanche, dog years?"

Yes, it was lame. But nothing - I mean nothing - can top the aliens episode. I can't even. Every single person on it needs serious, sustained, professional help. But, the new season starts next month. Woo!

Did I miss this?!  What season did it air and do you remember the name of the episode?

Yes, I think that was the way he asked her. I thought it was about having a woman run for president. I still chuckle when he ask Natalie Wood the one question about who you would call if you had a chance to call someone before you die or something like that. I think she said Miss America or Miss USA.

It wasn’t Natalie Wood.  It was a pretty brunette who looked like Ashley Paige. I knew her name at one time. I will look.  Jessica something.

The Condoleezza Rice question was should she be allowed to run for President or something like. The girl who answered the question thought she was a man instead of a woman. I believe her husband was in the military serving in Iraq at the time, and she had no clue who Condoleezza Rice was. Imo, that was just as bad as the girls who did not know who the president and vice president are. I do give credit to Meagan when she was joking around after making her interview mistake. At least she actually knew who Barack Obama was.

That was so odd.  Jay asked her “What do you think of Condoleezza Rice running for president?” I’m almost positive that was the way he phrased it.  When I watched that I remember thinking, did I miss Condoleezza Rice announcing a run for the presidency?  My point is he phrased it as a trick question, even if he didn’t mean to.  So did he want to know if she was up on her current events or how she felt about a woman running for president?  That was not made clear.  But since the gal didn’t know who Condoleezza is, there wasn’t a clarification.

  5. Melissa’s priority is her family.  Her entertainment “career” pays well, is not demanding on her time and allows her to live in Dallas. Yes, she did more before she started having babies.  Why anyone would want to be an entertainment journalist beats me but I think she was kind of handed all of it after DWTS.

    Sorry mods...I went off topic.

  6. I didn’t finish watching the episode...this show freaks me out a bit, so I didn’t see the end and if they explained the introduction and the Harper Lee connection.  I just did a search and found this:

Thirty years ago Harper Lee (writer of To Kill A Mockingbird) was in Alabama researching a possible serial killer, now her novel- along with any drafts and all her notes- is missing.

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/09/09/alabama-murder-mystery-what-happened-to-harper-lees-book_n_8109620.html

"Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist Harper Lee politely knocked on truck driver Robert Louis Burns' door in rural Alabama one day more than three decades ago and asked him about the preacher he killed. The plainly dressed writer wanted to meet the man who had stood up in a crowded Alexander City funeral home in 1977 and put a bullet in the brain of a preacher who was rumored to have dabbled in voodoo and suspected in a string of deaths in this riverside county."
