I would be super curious to hear how Kelli would want the girls to answer the #metoo question.

The question was should it be incorporated into the DCC? How the hell would veteran or TCC answer? "I think we would have to have a conversation with Kelli and find out what the Dallas Cowboys organization would be comfortable with.” Because that is Cowboys culture. Charlotte might have an idea but Jerry Jones?  He’d probably just change the subject and never answer the question.

I was thinking something along the lines of I don't like being accused.  I'm supposedly wrong.  I'm getting the blame.  I'm the bad guy.

The comments didn’t make sense from one person to the next.

When tough conversations were had with Holly and Jenna and even Meaghan Flaherty, there might have been editing but there was a back and forth. In last night’s meeting with VK, I felt like there were things said that didn’t make sense. I didn’t think of editing at the time but that is what I think now. We (this board) don’t usually do this kind of back and forth about what someone meant in their meeting with K&J. This one confused me.

Shannon.  He's still on the podcast but shaved his head.

So beard and shaved head. Okay. I hope his questions have gotten better now that he's done changing his look!

So I’m trying to listen to the latest podcast and I find it impossible to listen to. I even tried fast forwarding through it, but it’s just too little substance for me.

Oh, yeah, I forgot to write did anyone see that the guy with the beard is gone? Or was he just doing something else? And he still does their podcast? The guy who asked condescending questions, I can’t remember his name.

I'm not sure either, I think it was one of the seasons where Kyndall Fuller was a casualty. I just remember them cutting two girls and then one of the girls waiting in the studio making a comment about how they just cut two people...most of the time they warn the first ones and cut the last.

    Season 1

Has anyone had that many and not been cut?

I look at it, the #MeToo movement deals with a very personal and private topic.

Ah, the #MeToo movement is an international women’s movement that has been going on for over two years. Women all over the world are watching what is happening in this country and are seeing the power of women coming together, to make changes in their own countries. I am of the belief that you’d have to be headless not to know what it is. Taylor proved me wrong because she has a head.

  7. When Victoria said, “I don’t like the position I am in,” I thought it was an odd response to what had been said prior in the conversation. I thought, “Well, you put yourself in the situation!” But Kelli didn’t respond to it. Not in the way I thought she would. So yeah, editing.

I can't quote Tony Romo's wife (Kandace?) word for word, but when they were discussing Kelsey, she pretty much said, "who cares if she can dance-look at her!! " I have to agree ~she is absolutely gorgeous WITH an amazing personality!!  I love the fact that she can laugh at herself, and she does it alot!!  I wish that she had stayed longer!!

Kelli treated her like crap when she was in training camp. And she was lovely about it.

there was a beautiful candidate, fantastic dancer and gorgeous face. But she was 18, and not able to take care of herself and yet here she was trying to live in Dallas on her own. She had never been away from her parents, had never cooked a meal before, never had to rely on herself to make all her life decisions. I remember one interview she was so proud that she actually either boiled water or cooked an egg or something. She got cut. She couldn't handle living as an adult for the very first time in her life while trying to learn the routines, and practice time management. She wasnt even used to hearing constructive dance criticism. I dont think anyone had ever told her there were things to work on. I think she had only ever heard what a wonderful dancer she was.

I know this show by heart. I don’t remember this storyline of a TCC.

She didn’t seem bitchy to me either.

I can just see Judy running to her locker, grabbing her purse, grabbing her gym bag, her water bottle, and throwing them out the exit door...LOL!

This literally made me laugh out loud.  Depending on where you live, some may not get this but your comment made me think of the IKEA commercial where the woman says "Start the car!  START THE CAR!!!"

God this is funny. Thanks for the giggles.

It looked like Kelli got shagged right before coming to work,  she looked pretty rough.  No make up,  bad hair and she was overboard mean.

Wouldn’t that make her happy? Just sayin’.

  12. I’m really loving all the rookies, now that they are being featured (in the episode 10). Between last week and this week, the rookies come across as classy and talented.

Kelli’s question of 72, on football day, was kind of dumb. Was anyone really going to answer that question correctly?

I really liked this episode. I know it’s crazy that there are still so many on the squad still. Usually it’s the opposite. Just goes to show you that Kelli can have favorites but those are the ones that won’t make it. And man, she holding on tight this year.

domestic and international press tours are part of contracts, promotion is literally part of the job for which they are paid.

Ideally, yes. Many actors go from project to project, and don’t do press. Or don’t want to do press on a particular film. Huge budget films will hold back financially in order for talent to do press but that is a small portion of the industry.

  14. 11 minutes ago, UnicornKicks said:

Press tours etc are usually a part of the whole contract, so they are not paid by the hour per say but sort of are paid, and a lot of talk shows, etc. pay actors to be on there.

Press requirements are in the contract but a studio cannot force the talent to do so... There are a lot of actors who won’t do press.

Only certain talk shows pay. And it’s not a lot of money. Maybe $1500? I can’t remember.

I thought it depends on their contract with the studio? Promoting a film is part of the big pay day.

    Not true.

Some actors and directors get bonuses if they are doing an awards campaign and get nominated but that is so complicated and doesn’t apply to what we are discussing. Or if the movie does a certain amount at the box office. But again, that has nothing to do with press.

Sunni is beautiful! They had to be crazy to not like her look. Other than giving her Megan Sharp bangs.

The bangs looked horrible on her.

I don’t recall her filming anyone season 1 because she was also a shy struggling TC candidate.  But I could be wrong. ??‍♀️

It happened. Natalie was in a private practice with Nicole and Melissa filmed her practicing. Melissa and Natalie were good friends that year.

Huh?! An A-list actor's pay rate is VASTLY different than most non-actors on the planet. They make multi-million contracts and agree to do press or not, for OUTRAGEOUS amounts of money.

Actors get paid when in production for a film/tv show. They are not paid by the studios when doing press.

I always find it funny when people take what actors say on press tours as gospel and i'm sitting here like 'this is their job. they are literally being paid to spout whatever the studio wants them too.

Actors are not paid when they are promoting a project.
