  1. I’m sure Andy is tickled pink about this, but so are many on these boards. I have my issues with Andy but I don’t blame him for anticipating the ratings surge with these kind of escapades. I, for one, am not going to miss this season to see the fallout from the arrest. I kind of feel bad for Lu but, really, she brought it all on herself. At any time she could have stepped back from the show but she has pushed her fantasy wedding storyline then tragic divorce. If she doesn’t want public shame and embarrassment, then she can either get out of the public eye or behave like a responsible adult.
  2. I watch these shows for two reasons: 1. The glorious closet porn. I love the fancy houses, dresses, jewelry, etc. It’s so fun to see all that money can buy you. 2. The inadvertent peak into hw lives that shows you even with all the money, their lives are still very real. As for #2, this episode, while Stephanie was working with her son &his tutor, the camera kept panning back. I realized it was zooming out to show the giant pee puddle the dog left on the other side of the chairs! Hysterical! They are practicing letters & there is dog pee three feet away. I love it.
  3. Bethany's IG has a screen cap of Ro's reunion shoe. Apparently she got them for $129!
  4. I think Andy is so harsh on Lu about Tom because he thinks she did it for a storyline. I think he's pissed that she would try to manipulate the show that. He tried to out her shamarriage.
  5. A little off topic, but Jeff Lewis was just saying the same thing. He says the OC needs a mostly new cast because they all hate each other. I think the show definitely does best when they are real (or close to) real friends. When they can't stand each other and only interact because of the show, it's not fun to watch. NY has some pretty good friendships and we get better interactions because of it. I can't stand Ramona, but her best scenes are usually with Sonja because they genuinely enjoy each other. Dorinda seems to be friends with all of them and she has lots of fun moments. BH has suffered, I feel, because most of the cast dislike each other.
  6. I think Ramona is done. I don't think they will have her back next season. She is a hot mess in a very sad pathetic way. With Sonja, producers (allegedly), told her to lay off the booze or she's out. Sonja was not doing well. Now with Romona, I hope they will have the good sense to kick her to the curb and let her get herself together. It's not fun to watch her so miserable and nasty.
  7. I think the coupon cabin commercial was pretty funny. It looked like they were having a great time and struggling to keep a straight face while talking about a toilet. I think they chose a product like the toilet because obviously, Carole is not shopping for bargain toilets.
  8. From Tamra Tattles: "Sonja admits that she thinks Tinsley is not a considerate houseguest. SERIOUSLY? Tinsley has been sleeping with germy stuffed animals in her apartment full of brown water (allegedly, in actuality she had a long term hotel the entire time) and Sonja says she is not considerate?" I figured the roommate thing was just production giving a way to introduce Tins to the group, but I didn't guess she never really stayed there. If true, it puts into question their arguments earlier.
  9. For all their ranting and raving about rooms, I felt Ramona really showed her ass the most afterwards. Did you notice how livid she was when she was laying on Dorindas bed. I really think she feels that everyone is beneath her and must cater to her. How does she stand to watch herself?
  10. Lu was definitely throwing shade with her "I'm glad I'm married " line. It's like if the girls were talking about struggling to pay the bills & she said "I'm glad I'm rich." It is insensitive to be sure.
  11. In defense of Carole, I think she wanted a family. Just as Tinsley wants a family. Tinsley has frozen her eggs so she could go get a sperm donor & have kids right away but she wants a FAMILY. Carole wanted a family with her late husband & when that didn't happen, I can see how she was reticent on just going & having a kid. It's actually really sad & I feel bad for her.. Tinsley probably doesn't know the details but just saying "you didn't want kids" is a bit short sighted.
  12. Yes, in times of decreased resources animals, like deer, will give birth to more females than males. A population only needs a few males to succeed. If resources are great, you can afford to have plenty of males. A female is way more valuable to a population than a male.
  13. Nestle can't sue because they don't own the word skinny anymore than B does. I'm currently snacking on skinny pop popcorn.
  14. Hey producers, your panty lines are showing! A couple of obvious shenanigans this ep: The second group coming late to dinner was solely so the first group could talk about Lu. If they were all together, they couldn't discuss it and the big story wouldn't get very much air time. I suspect Beth and Carole at least were in on it. Their "fight" was staged as a bonus to dispel their cliquiness. The sandbar drama was another contrived situation. I do believe that Romona turned her nose up at the outing, but the second event was obviously pre planned since they mentioned the name like 12 times. (I still don't remember what it was though, ha!). Poor Doris was bent out of shape at half the girls ditching, but she didn't plan that event anymore than I did. She didn't have the slightest idea what (the) sandbar was. I think she may have thought it was a bar, with sand. The silmultaneous Tom phone calls? Really? Lastly, Beth pulled out her best acting chops to pretend that she wasn't going to wait to the end of the episode, oops I mean trip, to tell Lu. That was all orchestrated in advance. I do believe that she wasn't counting on Lu's reaction. She was hoping for anger and outrage. I think she felt awful when she realized she was devastating Lu.
  15. So much of the anger doesn't make sense. I think there has to be an element that they are not talking about on camera. It's really bullshit. It ruins the experience as a viewer. How can I appropriately judge and condem these women if I don't know the complete story? ;)
  16. Andy had a caller on his show today (yesterday?) that asked about viewers turning against Bethenny. He said that she is very self aware and will take accountability for her actions when she knows she's gone too far. I found it interesting that he didn't really defend her or deny the Beth hate.
  17. I just don't see how Tom making out with another woman makes Bethanny "vile." This is not a "tidbit" it's an engaged man engaging sexually with someone else in public. Regardless of how she presented it, I see Tom as the real bad guy here, not Bethanny. I would be horrified if I was Lu & I certainly would not go through with the wedding. If Lu is that much of an idiot to marry a man who can't keep his hands to himself even before the wedding, then she deserves the train wreck that will surely ensue. I'm not trying to be a Bethanny apologist, I just think the focus should be on the cheating cheater who cheats.
  18. I'm starting to think the contract issues and screen time are playing a big part here. Maybe part of Luann's hypocrisy is that she does/says stuff just to get more exposure on the show. I know they all do it, but Luann seems less organic about it. Bethanny said she was trying to weasel her way into a dinner with Kyle over the summer, the accusation that she went after Tom because he had dated Ramona, staying at Sonjas house (as a mentor?!) just to get more scenes. All could be seen as just "bullshit" for the show. Bethanny was pissed at Sonja, not because of the tipsy girl name, but because she told page six that they were in a feud over it. Page six never would have printed it if Bethannys name wasn't tied to it. Add in the contract hold outs and it can be perceived as fucking with the show. I don't think she is a secret producer, but I do think she takes the show seriously. On her radio show the other day, she called Ramona a real housewives all star (or something to that effect). Ramona is a batshit crazy, narcissistic snob, but she is herself on the show and it makes good tv. I think that's why Bethanny didn't like Kristen, because she was just phoning it in. Kristen never really brought much reality.
  19. On a lighter note, I loved Carole talking about the wallpaper in the closet!
  20. I'm little lost on the B/L battle. Bethany is really pissed at Lu but why, really? It's not because she's slutty. It's not because she's a hypocrite because Bethanny has called her on that before. It's not Tom, Bethanny doesn't give a crap about Ramona's sloppy seconds. The naming of skinny girl came up again after Bethanny was already on a rant. I wondering if something happened that we are not privy to. Something that they are not talking about on camera. Whatever it is, seems like Lu doesn't really care. She was giggly about the apology texts and wasn't so upset that she would leave and miss any screen time. Anyone have an idea?
  21. I've got to give her a pass on this. I have a house in a community where just about everyone owns jeep to drive on the beach. We have an old Land Rover defender, my SIL has an old Toyota FJ but because the are all "soft tops" like a jeep, they are collectively referred to as jeeps. No harm, no foul, it's just a catch-all term at this point, I believe.
  22. I think LVP knows how to keep things entertaining on the show without making her self look like an ass. The other girls get pissed that they are unable to do the same. LVP may have snickered about Yos Instagram but she knows better than to bring that up on camera, for many reasons. Lisar doesn't seem to realize that she's on tv and should edit herself accordingly. LVP is more than happy to let her dig her own hole. I don't think it's manipulation. LVP probably encouraged her instead of telling her to shut up because she knows it would be good tv. It's still Lisar's fault for being a hot headed big mouth.
  23. It seems like they started filming at the end of the summer. I thought she was dating Marcus Lemonis then. Anyone know if they are still together?
  24. So if it's the case, as many of you suggest and I believe, that LVPs interrogations are production motivated shit stirring, why don't the other HWs see that? They know they are on a show, they know they need to have conflicts, why don't they play it up? I'm so confused. Shouldn't they see this is a "drama" opportunity and participate? Or is that what Eileen's pearl clutching was about?
  25. Is it me or does this season feel a lot like manufactured drama. I feel like the ladies are grasping at straws to come up with some conflicts to make the show interesting. I happen to find it entertaining when they are having fun, but I bet they have pressure from TPTB to bring the drama. On another note, I usually like Bethanny, but STFU girl. You are not the worlds branding expert.
