Is anyone reading Candace Bushnell’s new book “Is there still sex in the city?” Ive never read her stuff but this is a memoir and heard there were story’s about some of HWs since she is friends with many. The names are changed but Carole’s meeting Adam at Luanne’s house is in there. I’m just wondering if anyone knows who the real names are behind any of the characters.

This whole dog mess is miserable to watch. I’m tuning out until they move on. I can’t stand everyone claiming they are Vic oof Lisa’s manipulations. Aren’t they grown women? Can’t they decide what they say and how they act? Anyway, I found it kind of funny when Lisa left the dinner and everyone got upset. How can they ignore her is she’s not there to see. The best thing she did was to walk away from filming.

Atlanta is such a no brainer. It has an amazing food scene, many of the TC contestants & some judges have come from there. It has great opportunities for unique, regional food challenges. There is a huge film infrastructure already in place. Unfortunately I don’t think it will happen. First, they just did a southern City so it wouldn’t be for a while, but the big reason is that Atlanta won’t pay for it. The host city is a major sponsor and that is how locations are chosen. I don’t think Atlanta feels that it needs the promotion that much. It’s really unfortunate. Atlanta would be a great location.

Andy said on his show that he was not mad at Jeff. He also said Jeff would be on WWHL this week as scheduled. He said Jeff was just being dramatic in assuming FO would be canceled. Jeff has always been pretty honest about the stretching of reality for the show. He said he will keep people around longer so they could still get paid by the show even though he doesn’t need them for JLD. I think Cat is just there during filming. So, like Jenni in the later seasons, she shows up on filming days and Bravo pays her.

The house and plane belong to the Westcotts, Kam’s in laws. The house sold shortly after filming. I’m not surprised. I believe the mom is in her 90’s, so probably not skiing much. Not sure if the Dad is still around. I think the house was only on the show to instigate a sale. BTW, I was at Beaver liquors yesterday & the kid that helped them said they were crazy in the store. He said he freaked when Cary opened the tequila (it’s illegal to drink in the store) but his boss said to just go with it. He was thrilled to be on the show though. It’s a big deal in our little town. There’s even a big article about the liquor store visit in our local paper today.

Unfortunately, next episode is the last we shall see of Beaver Creek. The Westcott ski home sold shortly after filming ($11,500,000). I’m sure filming & the accompanying tour on Bravo’s website was all promotion to sell the house. I personally find the house very gaudy but it’s on an amazing lot. I live just down the street & passed by it this morning on a hike. I was really hoping they would do an annual trip like RHONY does tot he Berkshires. It’s fun to see my little town on the show.

The only reason to have an actual store is to have a location for filming. If it was an office, they wouldn’t have the products on display as much. It’s just one big infomercial.

They are all so full of BS when they try to call B out on playing to the cameras. They all do any chance they get. Any one of them would bust into tears for Bobby at the funeral, given the chance. Camera time is $$. They need all the exposure they can get. The Bravo pay check is nice, but the real money is in promotions. Those stupid Dunkin’ Donuts IG posts Carole did? They earned her thousands & thousands. I heard it’s 20K for the initial post & more for each click. That really adds up. I don’t believe any of these bitches would give up the gravy train. Add to that appearances and Dorinda’s coffee mugs & it’s a small fortune. I believe B quit because she had another show but the others leaving on their own, I’ll never buy it. They are all too big of fame whores and are too dependent on the money

I think the HWs have 1% input in the trip planning. The producers probably decide who’s turn it is and then ask them if they have somewhere to go. Either they come up with a semi valid reason or it’s just a random place they’ve been before. Producers then work out the accommodations, excursions, etc. I think they should drop the charade of hosting. No one believes Tinsley picked out that house.

I was wondering about what happened to Camille with the boys in the woods in relation to Millie Calhoun and the union soldiers. Millie was gang raped and suffered in silence. I think Camille was also raped but let everyone believe it was consensual (suffering in silence). Millie did it protect her husband. Did Camille want to protect her mother? She mentioned girls of the town paying for the sins of their mothers. Adora had Camille very young and out of wedlock. I’m sure in that small town it was a scandal that she was shamed for. With allowing everyone to believe she willingly slept with the boys instead of going to police, was she avoiding the scandal of rape?

I think that’s why we are seeing B finally say something about the situation. She has been pretty mum as Carole has repeatedly bashed her on blogs & SM. If Carole pissed off Andy by announcing before the reunion, he might have had B post about the firing. I don’t think we will ever get the full story tho.

With her statement about not compromising her morals or whatever, I think she was given an ultimatum. She either had to reconcile with B, or walk away. So technically, that’s not being fired. It’s choosing to leave. Carole has always been a bit of a back up dancer. This worked well with the strong personalities like Heather & Bethenny, but not so much with Tinsley. Think about it, if something went down, B had lots of opinions & will rehash things with Carole which keeps the storyline moving. Tinsley doesn’t talk about much other than Scott. I like Tinsley & think she’s a good addition but she’s not strong enough to carry Carole. Andy has said in the past that the HWs are very coddled. They take great pains to get the women’s trust. I really think most of the situations he gives them the option to say they had made the decision. That way they are not so angry & will,come back for appearances,etc.

So if Sonja’s townhouse is up for rent, where is she living now?

Tamara Tattles is now saying Erika is off the show. Can’t say I’m surprised. Her attitude at the reunion sure seemed like she was already gone. I wonder who’s decision it was, hers or Andy’s? My guess is she told Andy she was quitting and didn’t want to do the reunion but he said she had to. If the rumor is true and she is divorcing, she’s going to wish she had that HW paycheck. No more private jets and glam squad. She may say she didn’t sign a prenup, but that doesn’t make it true.

So, Erika had cramps at the beach house, was sick on Germany, and now a migraine at the reunion. Hmmm.
