3. I'm having the same issue on all devices I use - IPad and HP desktop. Especially on new posts that doen't have any reactions yet.
4. Is it just me noticing that they're all in the same clothes in every scene in both episodes so far? David in the pink track suit, Allison in the beige v-neck sweater, etc. Do they each have a closetful of the same outfit for the entire show? Assuming that at least some of these scenes are filmed on different days, what gives? Not an earth shattering observation on my point, but still odd!
5. I’m having the problem above, but also this one - when I click on a notification, instead of taking me to my post that was “liked,“ it takes me to the top of the page containing that post. IPad Pro 13.5.1
6. I totally agree. Karen's "designs" are cringe-worthy, for the most part. I thought I detected a brief look of horror on the former homeowner's face (the woman) when she saw that wallpaper. I also fast forwarded to the reveal. I find I'm doing that a lot lately with many of HGTV's reno shows. I've gotten tired of watching 30 minutes of demo. I didn't like much about this completed project. As mentioned above, the living and dining rooms were essentially useless. I was surprised that they already had a buyer for the house, but the location in Fountain Square could be the main draw.
7. And then the wife added, "I looooove it!" She said,"Oh my gawwwwwwsh, I looooove it" over and over again, about every room, every feature in the house. It was so annoying.
8. Thanks for the update, @SilverStormm. The temporary solution you came up with is working well in the meantime, so thanks for that too! The next poll is a few months away, so it sounds like the bug might be fixed by then.
9. Thanks, @SilverStormm - your temporary solution is a good idea. I'll try it.
10. Thanks for the reply. It works when you're just posting in a forum, but it doesn't work when you're using the poll feature. Polls always required a special format to embed pictures. The picture url had to be placed within brackets and some extra characters - img scr at the beginning - here's an example : Typed this way, the picture appeared in the poll. I guess the Poll feature is set up differently from the regular message boards. Anyway, I tried using just the photo url (like you showed above), and it didn't work. I tried every other picture link that Imgur provides (Image Link, Direct Link, Markdown Link, HTML, BBCode, and Linked BBCode), and none of them worked - no picture, just a clickable link. I pm'd the Shopping Channels moderator, CuriousParker, who also tried several different ways to get pictures to show up, and none of them worked, which is why CP suggested I post the problem to the Bugs forum. Maybe the recent software update changed how you have to format picture urls in the Poll feature?
11. I'm no longer able to embed pics from Imgur into a poll. I'm using the exact format for the pic url that I've used in the past when creating Choices under each question in a poll. I tried both of these versions in the poll, both of which have worked in the past: and Neither one produces a picture. In the poll, it just shows up as a clickable link. You can see some examples in the Test Zone where I tried several different link codes provided by Imgur - nothing. I'm stumped. I've done several polls in the past 2 - 3 years, and the pictures always appeared. Did something change? Is there a new format that I need to use? Thanks!
12. I agree with this. She's always cramming a huge master suite on the first floor at the expense of a family room. And a huge kitchen island, but then there's no place to put a proper kitchen/dining table. The small space at the top of the stairs that she tries to pass off as a den or family room doesn't cut it for me. I like Mina and Good Bones but IMO, most of her house designs are just not practical for the way most families live. Btw, I just read an article in WaPo about kitchen islands which said that many designers are moving away from them and replacing them with a kitchen table instead. The table still provides a work surface, but is more conducive to sitting down for a meal with the family.
13. I like to imagine that Leanne has a secret room somewhere in her houses with a big ol' over-stuffed, comfortable reclining couch, gigantic flat screen TV hung on a wall, and a velvet painting of dogs playing poker - it's where she actually spends her time rather than those sterile white rooms she creates (Steve would certainly be hanging out in the secret room!). One of the worst things in that bathroom she designed was the concrete seat that was shaped like a toilet. Although I'm generally not a fan of her designs, I do admire Leanne's attitude in this show. I don't think she really cares if she wins any of the competitions or not. She's doing her thing, staying calm and, as she said, she's designing for the one buyer who's going to love what she's created. I prefer that to Jasmine's insecurity (and crying!), Mina's anxiety, and Alison's over-confidence and all-around bitchiness.
14. Recently saw a story that Karen is retiring from Good Bones. She’ll still do some DIY segments (be prepared for more macrame fish bowl death traps holders, but she is officially retiring from the company she and Mina built. https://people.com/home/good-bones-star-karen-laine-is-retiring-from-family-business-with-daughter-mina-starsiak-hawk/
