I watched the show, but don't remember any of them individually - tho, was that the show with the really big black girl who was a little unusual looking? Whichever he was, it's awful that he got so big and couldn't get a handle on his weight.

Hey to anyone from the My 600 lb Life board. 👋
-
Well, bye, y'all. This one started so well. Is there a thread for the new show?
-
Absolutely. I just feel others can use delivery more than I can. I have an order for pick up tomorrow. I don't mind driving up and having them put it in the trunk. They had to hire people to do that as well and I still get out of the house, so it all works out. I remember when things were really bad, they had a big semi parked in the lot w/all the pick up orders. That was crazy. Now the pick up orders are stacked in the vestibule and there's usually a line of cars. I guess people got used to not going in the store. Sometimes I say, "To heck with all this, I'm gonna do what I want (with a mask)." Then I read about some nice gramma who got COVID and was dead 4 days later. So I crawl back into my home office and watch some more YouTube.

I'm 67 w/co-morbidities. I am eligible for the 'senior shopping,' which they've brought back, as well as mandatory masks, even outside if you can't SD, until the end of MAY. I think things are not going well. During the height of the pandemic, I could get same day & free delivery. I did that a couple of times, but felt incredibly guilty. I live close to the store. I know that many people were terrified to go out, some are really infirm, live farther away, etc. Plus, I'm LDS and had food and paper supplies. I was just filling in with fresh stuff. Every time I got a delivery, I felt I was taking it from someone else, especially at first when they were very short staffed for grocery pickers and delivery. I don't get out much otherwise, so seeing people at the grocery is about the only time I am with humans. Church service has been shortened and we go by last names, but most of us still stay home. We have a lot of children in our ward. As in asymptomatic plague carrying children. Nope. Not going and haven't been since March. Even my son doesn't come by much and we still mask up when he does. I'm tired of this. I had planned to go to Scandinavia and now I can barely get out to get my diet Pepsi stash.

This sounds like the old 'Big Medicine.' Dr Davis does something similar now - offering nutrition (mostly vegan since he became vegan awhile back) along with the surgery.

Yeah. I thought she felt she was alone. I wonder if he was OK with her staying in FL for a bit because it was COVID and she would have had a problem moving in the middle of the fall of civilization.

I was reading thru comments and missed his advice, other than telling her she could let go of feeling that she was a disappointment. Was there something else?

Ha! How about just 'Tesla'? Such an historic connection. What boy wouldn't be proud? 😄

"So why are you lying to yourself and why are you lying to me about it?" Brutal, but necessary, Dr Now. Even for perfect people like myself.
-
Good Lord. I will never get that image from my mind. I didn't see what she ate it from, but just the idea. I don't care if it's a brand new bedpan out of the box.

My son's ex-wife (the b$tch), was your height and generally 98/99 lbs. When she got to 115 (marriage eating), he said he could tell. She wasn't comfortable at that weight and he could visually see the difference. I can't imagine being 500+ at that height.
-
I was just gonna ask if she was short because her head was about at the height of the front door to Dr Now's. I know it's been a long time since I've been out anywhere, but yeah, she seemed short just looking at that.
-
She's gonna need some serious skin surgery on her arms.

I think they must. I was thinking of this the other day. My son wouldn't bring me food in bed and wash me unless I had cancer or something. He sure wouldn't do it if I became morbidly obese (and he'd be on my back about my weight way before I became bed bound). People from church would be asking if I needed help - not food, help. I think if you are a certain size, there must be an enabler in the picture. With COVID, most people can get food delivered, so that problem is solved, but again, if you need help getting out of bed, washing, cooking, etc., there's got to be someone else who's OK with that.

I wonder if she has vitiligo and has makeup (bad makeup) on it. You really need to get the good stuff for coverage.
-
Good grief. She lost her job and dropped out of school. How about get another job and get some financial aid and push yourself to accomplish something instead of sitting around and eating?
-
Don't judge. It's lasagna.

Yo, yo, my people! My eating habit was leftover homemade minestrone I found in the freezer while looking for 'real' food, a semi-homemade brownie with applesauce instead of oil, and a thin slice of homemade bread.

Well, bye, y'all. Pleasure dealing with you. Maybe the Slaton sisters will lose some weight this week.
-
"I gave up a lot to try for this." ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Go on home. You didn't want to do this to begin with, you wanna eat, so go home and eat. Save up for a double-wide coffin.
-
No, Dr Now! Don't give her any more time.
-
My sister is a big fan of 90Day and LAL. Can't even breathe in her direction when they are on. But no, I wanna watch Dr now and have to find out what David is selling tonight.

Any psychologists or social workers here? Is it ever allowed to tell a client,"Looks like you don't want to change. That's fine. I'll sign your release. Have a safe trip back home." ?
-
Man, I watch one freakin' TV show a week and my sister calls me about QVC.
