I audited clinical trials for 5 yrs before I retired from the university. My mother and one of my sisters are always asking me about something they saw on TV or their doctor told them. Or they bring something up and my response is, "OMG, what are you thinking? Stop!" 😄

Ah, Electrolux! We had one of those, too. 1962-ish would be right.

We had a piano in an area in the living room formed by the stairs. Of course, any sound from the piano would go right up the stairs. When we didn't get up early enough, my mother, a coloratura soprano, would play and sing the Star Spangled Banner. It was a weird childhood, people.

It's harder for them to change position, even if it's just a little, in the car. There's not enough room. At home, tho they look immobile to us, they are actually moving a bit to go to the bathroom or even a bedside commode, some can walk to the kitchen, etc. There's a little movement, and that helps when they get uncomfortable. They can barely fit in most cars.

As an older person, I have a pulse oximeter and a bunch of home health stuff so I can check out any weird stuff that comes up. It's hard to use Dr Google if you don't have the right numbers. That may be hypochondria, maybe not. Dunno. 😜

Why does he need to discuss the move to Houston with the girl friend (who needs to keep her son separate from her 'relationship' with this guy)? She lives 90 minutes away. She's not part of his everyday life. As usual, let's look for excuses as to why we can't find some self-discipline and do what is needed.

Good evening! My eating habit was a Stouffer's turkey dinner and a 100 calories quac cup.

Well, my people, this has been one for the ages. I'm sure next week will not be able to top it, but I look forward to hanging out with you folks anyway. Everyone have a good week.

Michelle got some sense and backed out on hosting Lacey. I do feel a little bad that she lost a bunch of her stuff.

She could grow up and use an assistive device like Janine (who lived alone) did.

Dang! What a night to be Mormon! Diet Pepsi will have to do!
-
Wait - they broke up in the car during the fight w/the sister?

He's given them this info all along; the show has only recently been highlighting it. Dr Now has a Bariatric Center of Excellence, which has to meet certain standards. They aren't sending people home to lose weight without any guidance.
-
Jeez. Tent meeting at Dr Now's.

What - and you haven't? 😄

Well, if he's willing to give up his feeder ways and join her in the program, this might work out. But I'm not going to lay any money on it.

I thought you might appreciate this: Michigan Beats Ohio State Everyone Goes Nuts Go freakin' Blue!

Did not need to know that she hasn't been able to wipe herself for 7 years. Dang.

Hello people! My eating habit was some air fried chicken tenders, a bit of cranberry sauce, and some sugar free jello.
-
Good night, folks! Have a happy Thanksgiving.

I'm so going to hell - but isn't he everyone's idea of what they guys look like down in IT? I hope he can keep the weight off still hanging out in the basement like that.
-
Yup. A lot of men say they are surprised by a divorce, when the wife has been sending signals for years.
-
I believe that's what Ohio State will be saying on Saturday. 😄

Boy, you don't realize how big these people are until they sit next to a normal sized person. He's still massive, even after a 100 lb loss. No snark, just an observation.

My first career was in law. I did a little family work at the beginning and as far as I know, as with most things in law, you can create the agreement you want. It sounds like the ex is being a jerk. He's not going to run away with them, he's moving temporarily for his health. Maybe there's some unpaid support and she's ticked. That's not supposed to matter, but we all know that the custodial parent gets angry when those checks don't come in and often retaliates by denying visitation.
