  1. What the heck was she eating dripping with cheese sauce? I thought she made ham. Do you put cheese on ham?
  2. Orange pants with a big hanging whatever. Not a good look.
  3. Yeah, but I don't know at what level. She said she got her GED; I imagine you have to have some reading ability to complete the test.
  4. "How'd that happen?" Fifteen eggs and a bowl of sausages?
  5. I also found this: Too Stupid: Intellectual Disability as a Statutory Ground for Terminating Parental Rights Disability Law Commons American University College of Law Journal on Disability Rights (Modern American)
  6. I went to look up the laws in Iowa. From what I can tell, the child can be removed if the parent can't properly care for the child or if the child has been in need of assistance (or other factors not relevant here). I didn't see anything that specifically mentioned IQ. The courts have tried to let people with differing levels of ability live their lives - not everyone with a lower IQ needs help from the courts. That said, if your IQ limits your ability to properly care for the child, then yes, the argument could be made that the child should be removed. (practiced in another jurisdiction many eons ago)
  7. Serious question - if she was incompetent to care for a child, will she be able to do the before and after care that comes with WLS? I know plenty of people with ADD/ADHD, so it can't be for that. I didn't hear if she was doing drugs or not, but whatever, how is she going to manage her health w/the surgery?
  8. Boy, already messed up physically at just 25 yrs old. What a shame.
  9. 'Evening, folks. My eating habit was a Stouffer's roast turkey meal w/a side of unsweetened applesauce. It's 5, 'feels like' -14. I'm freezing, even w/a space heater. I had to change internet providers. Would you guys believe I just got an email from CenturyLink saying they were back on line? I wonder how many customers they lost?
  10. What? Is the show over? I started coloring again and wasn't' paying attention. 😄 See you guys next week. I'll bring the grapes.
  11. I'll guess I'll testify about how the hand of God spared me. Last year, I noticed the Girl Scouts selling cookies along the walkway of my local strip mall as I pulled in. By time I parked my car and walked over, they were gone. I knew it was a sign that I didn't need any danged Girl Scout cookies, because God knows I always eat a whole sleeve at once and have no control. I don't know if God will be looking out for me again this year. I do know that I'm gonna have to move faster.
  12. I find it interesting to compare people like O with successful patients such as Nikki or Brandi & Kandi. It's not easy for them, either, but they get the program, they stick with it, they lose weight, and they get the surgery. Others find every excuse in the book not to eat according to plan. It's amazing, actually.
  13. Ah - wife is working on green card. Not surprised (nothing wrong with becoming legal, I'm just saying I'm not surprised). I'm sure there are some young men who would be happy to get with Musa and she can leave this waste of oxygen in the dust.
  14. Wait - he's going to his seminary graduation and forgot his bible? Or thought no one else there would have one? Pleeze. He was just embarrassed to get in front of everyone.
  15. Not all of them. Atkins isn't. Protein powders aren't, unless you have a weight gain one.
  16. I think he likes the protein shakes because they are an ice cream substitute. Don't ask me why I say this.
  17. I guess I wasn't looking - why did the trainer have that blue wagon? What was in it?
  18. Nowadays you can get them online. Perfectly legal. I've been thinking about it, just for braggin' rights.
  19. His problem is that God helps those who help themselves. Pray all you want, but leave the ice cream and french fries alone. You have to do the work.
