  1. I think this whole thing is going to come down to Bridgette's vote. JMHO. Here's why: If Nicole wins the 3rd comp she'll take James and that would probably cost her Paul's vote and probably Victor's outta "friendship." So, I'm guessing Nicole will have votes from: Corey, Paulie, Zakiyah and Day. I'm guessing James will have: Natalie, Meech, Paul and Victor. It's hard telling where Bridgette's vote would go. She was tight with Natalie and Meech in the game, but that doesn't necessarily mean she's going to vote the way they vote. Bridgette thinks independently AND we already know she would like a female to win this game. She's had a lot of time in the jury house to share info with Day and even though Bridgette and Nicole were never close, she may just throw Nicole the winning vote. This is going to be a tight race to the finish.
  2. She said on the feeds. She's finally coming to realize taking James would be the smarter move.
  3. I don't have to work this coming Thursday and my BF works nights so between Survivor's premiere and BB's finale, I plan on having a couple people over and drinking a little too. I'm super stoked for Survivor. I have my pool already lined up (different website, I know) but it'll be fun watching BB as well. I still like the show. Been reading a lot of bitter comments from people online. Can't quite figure out why some people continue to watch if they hate the show so much. One of my coworkers is a huge James fan.... another's all about Nicole. One of them is going to be disappointed come Thursday. So glad I have that day off. They're sure to be arguing over which one of J/N they think got robbed.
  4. There is no way Nicole is going to take Paul but I have to post this anyway. They forgot to add "Discovered Paris" & "Orchestrated Paul/Vic fight to infiltrate the other alliances." Still, I thought it was interesting.
  5. Hands must stay above the covers at all times. Lights must remain on 24/7. No crunchy food allowed in the house. No eating outside of the kitchen. Each house guest will be assigned one plate, one fork and one spoon. You must clean these promptly after each use. Knives are prohibited, but you may 'earn' the use of a cup. (Instructions to follow). Men must remain clean shaven. Tattoos must remain covered. No farting. Should an accident occur you must immediately spray Febreeze then proceed to your room where you will write 500 times, "I will not fart in the Big Brother house." All makeup must be applied before the 10:00 AM deadline. No more than 20 brush strokes per head of hair. You will address Ms. Chen as "Ms. Chen, The All-Knowing And Magnificent Her Majesty." Your sleeping facility must be cleaned daily. A BB staff member will make his rounds to bounce a quarter off your bed linens. Stuffed animals and similar props are strictly prohibited. That includes speaking to inanimate objects. Swim wear must be from the depression era. The "No Silliness" policy goes into effect immediately upon entering the BB house. This is a serious competition, DAMMIT--!!!!! Now go out there and have some fun.
  6. I just watched the Friday night special again and I gotta say, I liked it. I thought they were pretty fair on how they represented the HG's. I especially liked the "In Memoriam" section with the black and white photos overlaying videos of each contestant -- even Pablo. I liked that Victor got 3 separate "In Memoriams." I laughed out loud at Corey's montage. Of all the footage they could have used, they chose his "Harry Potter" sleep talking segment. Oh man, that was cruel way to memorialize poor Corey. LOL.
  7. I did the same analysis: Strong gameplay/Limited emotion: Paul wins. People fault Paul for aligning with Jozea, but they seem to forget that Paul said he misunderstood the rules and he thought they were supposed to play as teams, not just play when they're in comps. Rookie mistake, true. And if Paul had been more of a fan outside of the show and done his homework, he would have known that so I can't 'forgive' him too much. Still, he said he thought he was supposed to align with his team until BB told them otherwise, and since he saw Day and Zak hanging together (his other 2 teammates) he felt it was up to him to pull Jozea into the fold. If Jozea and Paul not been on the same team, I don't believe he would have aligned with him. They are worlds apart in personality. Nevertheless, staying loyal to your team is a sign of good gameplay, so I do have to give Paul credit for staying loyal ... in spite of his rookie mistake. Paris. I said it before. Paul rocked that twist. Nat, Bridgette and Frank were the only other HG's trying to figuring it out, but Paul managed to solve it sooner. Paul/Victor hate-fest. To me, Paul coming up with the plan to turn on Victor and Victor vice-versa is what saved both of them from being eliminated sooner. Corey and Nicole were desperate for a lifeline so when Paul started hanging out with them and ignoring Victor, they snatched him up real fast. Nat/Meech/James weren't as desperate because their 3 person alliance against Corey and Nicole's 2 person alliance held the power. But as soon as James started noticing Paul attached to Corey/Nicole (a strategic move Paul orchestrated for the very purpose of being seen) James did exactly what Paul hoped he would do. He ran right back to Nat and Meech and reported everything he saw: "Paul sure is cozying up to Corey and Nicole," "Every time I walk past them, Paul's laughing like they have all kinds of inside jokes." Paul knew Natalie would be smart enough to figure out what he was doing so he preyed on James being a witness to his sudden Corey/Nicole love fest. James reported back to Nat and Meech about Paul's new found friendship, Victor (pretending to now hate Paul) fake-confirmed that he had noticed that too. He punctuated what a rat Paul had been and how he should never have trusted him. The seed was planted. James/Nat/Meech snatched up Victor just like Paul predicted. That was brilliant, IMO, because that's the move that saved Paul and Victor's game. To me, that was right up there with Dan Gheesling's funeral speech. Strong emotion/Limited gameplay: This one's a little tougher. To me, Nicole and James played about the same until the last few weeks when Nicole sprung out of her Toyko bed cocoon. At that point Nicole had better gameplay than James but they're about equal on emotions (just a different type of emotion which I'll get to in a minute). That said, I still have to pick James to win because most of Nicole's emotions were about herself....her wants....her needs....her crying about not wanting to go up on the block...and so forth. Most of James' emotions were about Natalie. James gave up his whole game, to protect Natalie. To me, the glaring difference between Corey/Nicole's relationship and James/Natalie's relationship is that for Nicole it seems mostly physical. She's constantly talking about how "handsome" Corey is, how "sexy" Corey is.... yadda, yadda, yadda. James, on the other hand, cares for Natalie from his heart. The only thing I really fault him for regarding Natalie, is him not telling her she was going home. Maybe he just couldn't bring himself to tell her. Maybe he was afraid it was going to make her sad and cause her to sleep all day when he wanted to treasure and make the most of their last few days together, in good spirits. But still, she was his ride or die. She asked him to let her know and he didn't. That bothered me. If I had to pick a winner based on emotion, I would have to pick James. Nicole cried more during the season, but James' emotion came deeper from the heart.
  8. Truce on the child support thing. I didn't mean to start a fight. Everything I've read was that he was thousands of dollars behind. If you all say he's not, I believe you. ---- In other news: I can't tell if Nicole REALLY wants to take Paul to final 2 or if she's just telling him that to get Paul to stop bugging her. Lots of people are predicting Paulie would vote for Paul if Paul and Nicole are final two since Nicole's a girl, but I'm not so sure about that vote. I think Paulie would vote for Nicole because he was aligned so strong with Corey AND because he felt betrayed by Paul right before getting evicted. It's such a tough call for me, trying to guess who'd vote for who. I agree with you guys about that last comp where they have to predict what the jury members would say. "What did Bridgette say when asked....?," "What did Corey say when asked....?" UGGH! I wish BB would come up with a comp that's not so easily manipulated.
  9. Oh, then I stand corrected I read elsewhere he owed $20,000+. I'll talk more when I get off work.
  10. I wouldn't take the "soulmate" thing too seriously. Nat's no dummy She's still playing the game. She's going for AFP. James is moping around the house so much I almost feel bad thinking how heartbroken hes going to be after all of this is over. He may not win but he's almost sure to get 2nd place. It's too bad he won't be able to enjoy much of his winnings after social services takes what they can for back child support.
  11. Paul needs to pace himself. He's coming on too strong with the "James has done NOTHING" talk. He's trying to make Nicole believe he (Paul) is more deserving in the final two, (which he is) but if he doesn't pace himself a little better all he's going to do is convince Nicole to take James because he'll have pounded it in her head that James has done nothing, .... and she'll start to realize the jury might feel that way as well and end up giving her the win. If Paul keeps pushing how he deserves to go to the end, Nicole's going to agree and therefore see him as a threat. He'll talk her right into taking James because he's easier to beat.
  12. I think you're talking about this ... ..... but this isn't the one I was talking about. I'll post mine if I happen to see it but I won't be looking around.
  13. Wow, that's not even the one I saw so there must have been at least 2 versions. The one I saw had Nat and James in the London room. She was laying down and he was sitting up. He told her he had something to confess and he started to mention that he and Nicole had a pre-season deal but he didn't get as far as to mention money. BB cut to fish in a micro-second. I didn't even bother to look for the time stamp because the money wasn't actually mentioned and so I figured that wouldn't be enough proof to anyone asking. I had never seen this video of them in the kiddie pool. Interesting.
  14. Honestly, I've gotten a little used to hearing "literally," but I honestly get annoyed by Corey's overuse of "honestly." If I'm being honest here, I honestly can't stand him always saying "honestly." I honestly cracked up laughing at Paul's impression of Corey even though Paul's impression was really nothing more than Paul saying "honestly" in an innocent Corey voice. It honestly had me in stitches. I'll take a "your boy," "pissed" and "never cared" any day over Corey's "honestly."
  15. Yeah. After all, it's not rocket surgery. ;P
  16. That's what I thought as well. It was a live show. There are pauses (like Julie reading her index cards) and commercial breaks...etc. I saw it as Paul waiting for Julie to give him the green light to pop the cork. The showboating thought never crossed my mind, so I was surprised when I read that here, and multiple times no less.
  17. It's a dirty job, but somebody's gotta do it. ;P I've been fighting that urge since it happened. So much I wanted to say, but it would come across as defending Paulie when I would mean for it to be a commentary on Day's behavior. We've seen this all before. She's very confrontational. She has limited restraint. She simmers to a boil. Blows up. Then cries. Then tells the world how she knows she's gotta do better to check herself in the future to keep from letting it happen again. Then there's calm for a little while. Then simmer, boil, blow up, tears. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. Had the stand up confrontation happened AFTER Paulie mentioned her daughter, I could have understood. But it didn't. She over reacted from the onset, and I agree with the poster who said they get annoyed when Day gets on one line of thinking and repeats that phrase over and over again, like a broken record.
  18. And let's not forget that Nat begged James to let her know if he knew she was going home her last week and he "dumbled" around (yes, I made that up) and acted like he didn't know when we all know he did. That. Was. His. Girl. -- Allegedly. And all she asked was that he'd give her a heads up. But he didn't. Side note: I LOVED Natalie's jury house arrival outfit. And I LOVED her gladiator strap shoes. *nodding yes smiley face*
  19. I totally agree on your James assessment. I can't respect anyone who floats through the entire game. I can see it as a strategy in the beginning while you're getting to know the others. (Jozea learned his lesson the hard way). Too much too soon is dangerous. The jury's not going to vote for the one who was most strategic. The jury will let their emotions get in the way of voting for Paul. I only started respecting Corey and Nicole these last few weeks because everything before that they just laid around in bed. Nicole will win this.
