  1. Ok what was the puppy story?
  2. I like Palak a lot actually. She seems to be a natural on camera and if they aren't giving this to Adam I hope it goes to her. The rest seem like fodder or lesser versions of personality types we've already seen.
  3. We're all people who care enough about Food Network to post on a forum and actually remember a guy who had a show on 5+ years ago. I'm assuming most of the general viewing audience doesn't really know who Adam is? It still irks me because he's had way more practice than the rest of the contestants but like the Trace elimination I imagine they're just doing whatever they need to do to get the right person a show.
  4. I mean Adam was obviously the worst in that particular challenge but like was Trace ever a real contender for being a Food Network Star? Definitely not. Amy seems like the most ready to go (other than Adam) with regards to immediate ability to be a Food Network host or guest of some kind. I'm guessing she'll be the one moving forward. Who do you guys think is getting the returning spot?
  5. It also kills me on all these shows when they can't say the brand names of the cereal and have to awkwardly say things like "honey oat rings".
  6. Man I really hate Jernard. And having Adam on this seems super unfair given he's had a couple shows already. But he's really handsome and pretty great at this so let's just go ahead and give him another show tbh.
  7. I liked Osman but I hope he gets a few decent competitors against him because I don't want a bunch of steamroller games this week. It'd be nice to have a little suspense.
  8. Dhruv has really irked me this whole tournament. He just always seemed so cocky and arrogant. And his searching for DD's also drove me crazy. I remember Lilly being in Tournament of Champions last year but I don't really remember how the rules work for that. Is Dhruv likely to be part of that?
  9. I'm only 33 and the fact that they didn't get this made me feel incredibly old. Was surprised Rebecca lost but that awful heart answer lost her the lead and I didn't feel as bad.
  10. Oh man, Patricia was one of the more irksome people I've seen on Jeopardy in a while. Missing really easy questions ("Mayday"), her quirky faces and that awful 40,000 pictures a year story. Oof. Wasn't sad to see her flame out.
  11. Not really as livid as the rest of you. Good for Kyla. Honestly when Khrys was like "I'm 32" after getting eliminated I was kind of like "oh, eek" because that is pretty old for modeling. I think the show probably could have ended up a couple weeks ago and I wouldn't have done all the returning person crap. It kind of let the wind out of the season tbh. If they do another cycle they should definitely get rid of Law. He adds nothing and he's not even funny which is what that judging slot used to represent. What's Miss Jay up to these days? Someone should give her a call.
  12. I was gonna say that this was the first time Anne actually seemed comfortable with the designers. Her mentor segments always seemed so stilted and forced. I don't know the filming schedule but I wonder if she saw herself in previous episodes and adjusted accordingly or something. Congrats to Anthony even though I think Stanley had the overall better collection. Loved all 3 though.
  13. Meh. I'm not sure last cycle really "counts" considering it wasn't hosted by Tyra and also "India, who?" because let's be real I'd forgotten all about her. That said, I do think Kyla will win but I don't think India was a consideration at all for why Kyla wouldn't win.
  14. She's really trying to make that game happen!
  15. An hour later and still swooning over Alex.
  16. Honestly I just could not come up with Alexandria either. And then I got the rest of the category right. That particular question was just really difficult for me. And I couldn't tell you the last time I've heard "Alexandria, Greece" come up in every day life for me. Still loving the new champ and really hope she sticks around for a long while.
  17. So happy to have a new champ. I really liked her so hopefully she'll stick around for a bit. Wow Jonah was a total douche at the end. You think he'd be smarter about being visibly upset like that while the cameras are rolling. Seriously, you're on Jeopardy, try to just enjoy it a little bit.
  18. I'm fine with Marissa winning. Agreed that Ross played the bigger, stronger game. But I liked that Marissa was loyal and took the "better" player to the end and somehow still managed to win. I'm not sure she would have won against anyone else actually.
  19. Is he just trying to ensure that no one else gets a DD? Seems odd to start the game in the middle of the categories before you have any significant money to wager.
  20. THIS. Very niche characters overall. Could use a few more Britney Spears, Judge Judy, etc. levels of recognition.
  21. I legit thought he was going to end with "and then I give the additional profit back to the thrift stores" but that never happened. Anyways he immediately irked me and I loved watching him crash and burn. Would have been happy with either of the other two winning. Hoping Snoop saw that shoutout!
  22. Minus Luke, this is a super solid group of featured players. Heidi knocked it out of the park during WU. When she started crying I almost lost it. Otherwise, a fairly meh episode but I've never been a huge Will Ferrell fan.
  23. Loved Jennifer's enthusiasm and really excited to start next week with a new champ. She doesn't seem like an especially strong player but who knows, neither did Rachel.
  24. I love Gilbert and was so happy when the "ring worm" correction happened and he regained the lead going into FJ. I realize part of this love is his use of "same, [dollar amount]" but he's also got these sly smiles too. And his grilling story actually felt like getting to know him versus a random "cool story" intro. Anyways, I'd be fine with him lasting for a long while.
